Always has a great selection of the best looking and freshest veggies, plenty of meat and noodle options, and a sauce selection that has everything. We always do the Mongolian buffet, because I like to control what and how much of something that I get in my bowl. The buffet comes with a choice of rice, a choice of soup, and some fried wontons and rangoons. I do the Fusion mix of sauces for my bowl, and absolutely love the flavor. Even these days (2024), the prices are fair for the amount of food that you can get. I'm a big eater, and I always leave there full and satisfied. Don't listen to the whiny cry babies that give bad reviews. A person going there and crying about the rice has no idea why the restaurant is there... Try this place for yourself, get the buffet, make a bowl with the food YOU want, and enjoy. The service is normally VERY good, but I'm sure there are days when it is busy and people bitch about it. The food here is good. We have been coming here regularly since 2018. This past year, service has declined considerably. The woman who was the owner, Diana or Diane is no longer here. She used to organize her staff. The staff now generally totally ignores the people waiting to be seated. There is no sign in sheet, people coming in for take out have to try and get through all the people waiting in line. There is no designated person to take care of the people getting take out to ring them up or take phone orders. One of us ordered the buffet which is supposed to come with rice, soup, and an appetizer. Still waiting for those items to be delivered. I ordered an entree- so far nothing and we have been here for over a half an hour and still none of the extra buffet items that are supposed to be delivered. I asked a blonde waitress what happened to the old manager and she told me that she couldn't deal with me and walked away without taking my order. Another person eventually came and took our order. Finally got my food and it's barely warm!! The soup and rice arrived, but the appetizer was missing!! Totally not acceptable service. We normally come here once a week, but not anymore. I sure as hell don't need some snotty little blondie waitress that says she won't deal with me and flounces off. Will definitely be going to Good Friends, down the street where they hustle to take care of people and don't serve food that has been sitting on the kitchen waiting to be brought out!! I have had a horrible time the last 5 times trying to order from them. I've called in, I've come in person. I get that sometimes they can be busy, and it's disappointing because I really liked them, but their customer service has gone down hill. Tonight they left me on hold for over 25 minutes while taking other to go orders in the back ground. About 10 more minutes of silence and coworkers talking and giggling and I'm still on "hold". Finally I hang up,and try calling back and get a busy tone. I tried for about 10 minutes,same busy tone... Which tells me they still haven't realized I was on hold. We did the buffet of stir-fry type bowls. They had great meat choices, & shrimp! Tons of veggies and 3 different types of noodles to choose from. Very clean, well stocked. They were really busy last night and were keeping up with the crowd, so great job on that! When you get the buffet style, you get the choice of steamed or fried rice. Hot & sour soup or egg drop. And then you get an egg roll, and a fried wonton strip. Very good food, but both soups were a little heavy in the pepper yesterday. There were two waitress's for the entire place, and they both served where was needed. Not set to tables kind of thing. Which I think helped. They refilled our drinks on time, but otherwise didn't really come to the table and ask if we needed anything. They need more help in my opinion. They also have a ton of to-go orders in and out the door, so they could use some extra hands! One thing that stood out, they charged us for the hot tea. $2.49. Thought that was a little strange. Usually you can get it for free where ever I have eaten. But it was fine. They never came with a check to the table so we walked up to the counter & paid. Food was very good, fresh and hot! Just moved to the area, took the family in to get some Mongolian style BBQ. Not so friendly at all. The staff did not look happy at all, the girls were rude to the cooks who made our food on the grill. And if we are only using check Mark's for what we ordered how did they get 3 out of 5 bowls completely wrong, not a little wrong but missing majority of the ingredients. When we walked in we were the first 5 bowls at the beginning of dinner rush. $67.00 down the drain. Wont ever go there again, I wasnt impressed with the food, good luck! read more

I only served one bowl and ate a few bites and then I was full, so leaving 3/4 of my food to be thrown away just seems like a horrible policy. I like to visit The Fushion grill & love their food. Esp the deep fried prawns ( off the menu) & the one time trip bowl . My problem is that I cannot eat but a few bites of the bowl & I'm paying for the WHOLE bowl plus I order off the menu & they DO NOT allow me to take the remains of my bowl home! It is NOT a smorgasbord restaurant as you only get one trip through with one bowl!!! They are going to throw the food away! I'd like to take home what I cannot finish! Grew up eating here. When they first showed up in Valley Springs, Fusion was great. The inside has not changed since the last time I have been. The smell inside was not pleasant or bad, hard to describe. The food is still fine and its nice being able to make your own bowls buffet style. However, the food is nothing compared to places in Stockton or other larger cities. My coworker and I stopped here the other night for some sake. Waitress visibly microwaved the order of sake and served it piping hot on the surface and cold in the center. Would not recommend unless you are happy with mediocre Asian cuisine. read more

Buffet section has all the standard options plus a few special additions that we don't usually see, like ham, sausage, BBQ pork, rice thread noodles, and bamboo shoot. Relatively uncrowned on a September Friday evening, quick and professional service, would recommend. Free appetizers (fried wonton and a fresh egg roll with hot and sour sauce) were a nice addition. In what world do you walk into a buffet and get a "to go box" for your leftovers, or do they allow your children to share your plate? Goodness. I'd love to see these entitled people ask for a "to go box" or to share plates... or bites... with their young children at the $80 Caesar's buffet in Vegas. Don't act like an entitled brat just because this place is in Valley Springs. We all know you wouldn't do this in Vegas... and if you're an American, you know how buffets work. It's in our blood. (Not kidding, this is one of my husbands favorite cuisines and everywhere we go, he makes me try a Mongolian BBQ restaurant, from the EAST to WEST coast, we have tried so many that have disappointed.) They offered beef, chicken, pork, sausage, shrimp, and bbq pork, along with three different types of noodles, a whole lot of veggies, and over a dozen sauces to create your master piece. WAIT, why only 4 stars then? They serve spring rolls, wonton, soup, and rice as side dishes and they are not very good. Stick with the Mongolian BBQ and you will be happy!!! I guess there is a fear that COVID can be caught by putting you own plate together for the grill so they're doing it for you. Unfortunately, the food was extremely bland. I ordered vegetarian and they said it came with fried rice (they didn't give me a choice of fried rice, apparently they only have). I ended up with fried rice with pork. Super disappointed as it's hard to find a Mongolian grill. I gave it two stars because it was edible - except for the pork since I'm vegetarian.
