This is my go to place for Chinese food in the area. Living the Quincy area, I've pretty much eaten at all the Asian cuisine spots. However, had never tried Fusion even tough I passed it all time. It was not until my wife was craving sauteed pea pod stems that I had a reason to check it out...and glad we did. My go to place to order pea pod stems is in the North Quincy area but when I got to the restaurant to order, it was packed and seemed like it was going to take forever to order food. So, I did a simple Google search and Fusion came up. So, decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised. The first experience set the tone as the space itself was quite nice and well decorated. The owner was very kind and greeted everyone with "hi friend." The price was typical and nothing out of the norm. And the food was tasty. Well seasoned, sauced and not overly oily. Since then, we only order Chinese take-out from Fusion. We haven't tried the sushi or dined-in, so can't speak about that. But, take-out is very solid and have had only good experiences since that first unexpected trip seeking pea pod stems. read more

The restaurant's nice. Food presentation was great. Service was great. Just a bit disappointed with the food itself. We ordered mongolian beef, kiss the fire sushi, and a duck dish that had red wine in it (forgot the name) and hot and sour soup. Plus some oysters for my husband. The oysters were delicious according to my husband, and the hot and sour soup was decent to my taste. However the duck dish and mongolian beef was a bit of a let down. The duck dish had a weird taste to it, maybe adding red wine to cook it wasn't the best option but i guess that is up to the consumer and their taste buds. The mongolian beef was VERY tasteless and LOADED with onions. Nothing but onions. I got bored of the dish very quickly almost instantly. My husband's sushi looked very nicely presented but it was just simply a spicy tuna roll that they charged overprice for. Almost like they charged for the presentation itself. Other than that, the waitor was very nice, always checked in on us, and restaurant itself is welcoming. Food is thumbs down though. Especially for the prices. read more

Overall the food was pretty good! Presentation was on point! My favorite was the salt and pepper chicken wings and the seafood (chopped assorted fish, octopus, imitation crab) salad. The only issue with the seafood salad is I wish they used real crab meat instead of imitation. Sushi I thought was average nothing spectacular, but the presentation was fabulous. I've only ever had take-out here because, you know, pandemic. But I gotta say the food is OUTSTANDING. Not the usual greasy generic food - they know flavor. I also appreciate that the delivery is so very efficient AND delivery guy made the effort to find my door all the way in back of the building and I am just impressed as hell. read more

The food here is pretty consistent. I liked the fact you can order the food online but the menu isn't as reflective of their regular menu at least from my experience. A lot of the entrees don't come with rice which from me is weird. Overall it's appears to be a nice sit down restaurant but I haven't eaten inside just used their pick up and deliver options. An average restaurant all around. Won't knock your socks off, but you'll get a decent meal. When I went and sat at the bar, an older couple next to me got into and argument and the man stormed out. Greasy food and bland. Have tried food from here twice because we wanted something quick and we were new in the area. First time we got it delivered, their delivery guy insisted on getting a tip and would not hand over our food until we tipped him. Second time we picked up the food and it made us sick. This place is by far the best "real" Chinese food I've ever had. I'm talking about Mongolian Beef, Eggplant with Tofu, Peking Duck, etc. Their sushi is also very fresh and very tasty. Their Chinese-American is pretty good, but their authentic Chinese dishes are amazing. Please come check this place out. Ordered food from here using Grubhub and the man from Fusion delivering my order was so completely rude. I was under the impression I could add a tip to my Grubhub order, so I didn't have a cash tip for him upon delivery. When he got to my door, he immediately asked where his tip was, would not deliver my food, and told me three times I needed to call Grubhub to have his tip immediately added to the bill. He stood in the doorway for about 3 minutes, continuously mentioning the tip and how I need to call Grubhub. I dined here on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend. We waited in the lobby to be greeted and seated longer than I would like, however, it was extremely slow; as a result, we had almost the entire room to ourselves. Food selection was HUGE. This place has quickly become my new sushi and Chinese food go to. I've gotten take out from here a couple times now, and it's been consistently great! The sushi is very fresh, which is something I've been struggling to find in Quincy lately. I'm also a huge fan of the mama dumplings, they're delicious! The crab rangoons, peking ravioli, and lomein are also very good. I typically find Chinese food to be overly greasy and feel sick after, but that's not the case here. I know people roll their eyes at the idea of another Chinese restaurant in Quincy, but you are missing out if you don't give this place a shot! We were welcomed upon entering by the hostess and again by the sushi chefs. The waitress greeted us promptly and we had our drinks in hand approximately 5 minutes after entering the restaurant. My friend ordered a mai tai which he enjoyed while I had a lychee martini with two large, fresh lychees in it. We had the steamed shumai and Peking raviolis pan fried. The shumai was much lighter with seafood flavoring while the Peking ravioli was perfectly fried and not too greasy. Both came with a light gingery sauce. The lamb cumin was unbelievable and brought me back to the street food of China where I had spent a year teaching English. The yue yang beef was spicy, cooked with the authentic hua jiao pepper. I would definitely recommend either of these dishes. Throughout our meal we were checked on several times. When most restaurants first open there are normally several kinks to work out however I did not find this to be the case with Fusion Kitchen. I can't wait to get back to this restaurant to see what else there menu offers! read more

I cannot express how dissapointingn our first and last visit was. Where to start? The sushi on a Saturday afternoon tasted chewy and not fresh. The chef used sauce to try to cover up the poor quality. We ordered tofu pad Thai for my daughter and it had absolutely no flavor.....just noodles with fried tofu cubes that were dry from last night. They offered a refill on a soda and then charged us for it. To top it off the server dropped a soy sauce cup on my chair and jeans and didn't even adjust anything on the check for the trouble. By far the best Chinese food in Quincy! Tasty clean food. I've had ginger chicken green bean not too much ginger lots of green beans and generous amount of thin sliced tender chicken. The boneless bbq spare ribs are tender morsels of deliciousness. My husband got General Tao chicken and said it was great. Even the white rice was good, the right amount of sticky. We've also had scallion pancakes and crab Rangoon definitely homemade and fantastic. This is our go to place. Highly recommend! read more

Also, for what you pay, you don't get as much as other places. I've been to the Fusion twice , the first time for lunch , I had the Pad Thai with Shrimp along with a My Thai cocktail(sp) it was very good, so good that I went back for dinner We started with the Mama dumplings and that was very good, we also had the vegetable tempura and that wasn't cook enough so not so good For dinner I had the pineapple shrimp an it was cloyingly sweet , not very good My friend had the Royal Duck and said it was terrible. I might go back for lunch but my friend said she would never go back although the service was great. They had a television in the dining room and no drapes in the window so you could see out tithe traffic going back an forth , just ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant. read more

This place is great! The drinks are and food are very affordable and the owners are so nice. The decor is great, if you saw Alfredo's before Fusion did their remodel you would be amazed at how much brighter and open the space feels. The drinks are tasty and the beers have variety to them, from German, Dutch, American. My co-workers and I have made this our new spot on fridays after work, my family lives around the corner and we are so excited to have a place with fresh food that tastes good and doesn't hurt the wallet! Salt and Pepper wings were good, and the shrimp tempura roll for sushi! They do cool designs with the sushi! We normally don't go to Chinese restaurants but a friend recommended it. This was very clean and the staff went out of their way to make sure the service was great. We ordered the house special and it was cooked great. The lamb was thinly sliced and the vegetables were great and not over cooked. The only suggestion I can make is change the background music. I have dined and had takeout here since the opening. Beautiful design, dedicated sushi bar with several chefs separate from cocktail lounge. Clean, modern, pretty lighting. Lots of seating and a few separate dining areas. Plenty of parking. We have had many of the different sushi rolls both vegetable and fish. All very fresh and good quality. We have also had the fried rice. I am picky about fried rice but this is excellent. Fresh, lots of brightly colored veg and not too salty. I have also never felt the MSG side effects that I get elsewhere. Very friendly service and yummy Mai Tais in 2 different sizes. Prices are reasonable. One of my new favorite places. read more

Excellent quality of ingredients and most things I have tried have also had amazing flavors. They also don't skimp on ingredients. If you get noodles or rice with a meat, there is a ton of meat. It's telling that even though I live a couple of miles away and next to a number of other Asian restaurants in Wollaston, I usually opt for pick up or delivery from Fusion Kitchen. A few favorites: aromatic beef, cumin lamb, sesame chicken, mama dumplings, most appetizers, beef Lo Mein, anything stir fried, vegetable tempura, pork fried rice. We went to dinner last night for the first time. The decor is nice and we liked the layout. We were seated by the bar and the server promptly to our drink order. The cocktails were delicious and then we placed our food order, pu-pu platter for 2, pork fried rice & general gao's chicken.. The server specifically asked if we wanted our food to come out all at once and we said yes... and it didn't. The pu-pu platter arrived first, 10 mins later the rice was served and another 10 mins after that the chicken was served..
