I guess I've had my head in the clouds because HELLO?? Why haven't I tried Cloud sooner?! The food here packs bold flavors and creatively reinterprets Asian classics. Be prepared to EAT because the portions don't disappoint. Plus everything is super tasty! There's definitely something on the menu for everyone. A few of my favorites are the Spicy Edamame, the Salt & Pepper (S&P) Combo, the Popcorn Chicken, the Pepper Steak Pasta & the Ramen (the charsiu was soo good)! The bar here also makes the best cocktails and has a great selection of liquor. There's usually nothing open late these days but Cloud is actually open to midnight/1AM Mon-Sun. It's the perfect spot to start or end the night with friends! It can get quite busy at the bar or in the dining area but the staff are really accommodating and friendly. First impressions. They hung up on me after saying they recommended that I make a reservation. I called back and found out that they don't take reservations over the phone, but I could make one either on their website or on Resy. What!? $25 charge per person for a late cancellation? I wasn't planning on no-showing, but I'm also not willing to put my credit card down to commit for a group. Cloud Asian Fusion is in the corner of the plaza that houses China Pearl and Kam Man, to the right of Kam Man. It is a long narrow type space. Rather industrial, and concrete. I arrived first and scored the last table in the room with the bar, only to later discover that there were a few tables in the room in the back to the right. My DCs were running late, so I gave our waiter a head's up. He never made me feel bad for taking up the space. And it helped that there was never a queue waiting to be seated that Sunday night. We each ordered our own meal while sharing bites. While there are a few entrees at Cloud Asian Fusion that include both protein and vegetable, such as the Braised White Fish $22 (assorted mushrooms, fried tofu) one DC ordered, mine (Siam Crab Curry $22 - lump crab, spicy red curry, basil, bean sprouts, Thai Chili, thin rice noodles) and my other DC's (Mapo Katsu $16 (chicken katsu, mapo sauce, short grain white rice, furikake) came without (I don't count the small stash of raw bean sprouts on my plate), so I added the blistered green beans $16. Our server was pleasant and told me that they could make anything less mild. Even so, the slow burn from the milder Siam Crab Curry was a bit more than I would have liked. He checked up on me and offered to have the chef prepare a fresh batch with a milder curry powder instead, so I could better enjoy my meal. The original orange yellow of my crab curry bowl was turned a green yellow in its replacement. But it was still tasty, and still generous with lump crab meat. This was a good pick! The green bean vegetable dish was quite good too. I was happy with my meal. I sampled the other two dishes and found the regular mapo sauce recipe too spicy for my taste. The fish dish was tasty, but we found nothing especially fusion about it. 3 stars all around experience, but 4 stars for my own meal. read more

I went for dinner tonight after reading a few reviews and seeing the phantom gourmet video. Phantom and Andelman rock and they did not disappoint nor did Cloud. The food and ambiance was perfect for my Birthday party and the ginger & scallion lobster over rice was fire. Everything was really tasty. The prices were pretty expensive for the portion sizes but it is what it is in this economy. The service was very good and we were fully attended to. I'd like to return to try the rest of the menu, which is not huge, but so far everything was delicious and a limited menu is fine if you do it all well. We got a lot not pictured too, including the ribs and scallops and cucumbers and Shumai dumplings. All was great but a bit overpriced. read more

The chili wontons are an absolute standout. I always end up ordering more than one because they're that good--perfectly flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The flavor was amazing and the mussels were plump. The chili wontons had a nice kick and I put the sauce on everything because some of the food was lacking flavor (BBW soup - just salty, fiery noodles - bland) I thought the mango mayo shrimp was good and they were huge and plump. My family and I came here on a random recommendation from the gift shop counter person in the MA state house. The food was amazing! So much flavor! We ordered the beef scallion pancake to split. Recently tried cloud, Asian fusion and bar in Quincy and it was very good. Me and my friend came here on a Friday night and we did not have a reservation so we had to wait approximately 40 minutes to be seated as the restaurant was pretty busy and there was quite a few people. This restaurant is located right in the center of Quincy in a shopping mall parking lot , so there's plenty of free parking available, which was definitely a plus. As we did not have a reservation, we were given a sit at the bar, which I honestly did not mind as it was pretty spacious. We started our night with a drink. We picked a lychee martini and their cloud Maitai, which was simply light rum, dark rum, and passionfruit juice. Both of the drinks tasted very good and also pretty strong. Their prices were also very reasonable, as they were around $15 average. For starters we picked the hot honey ribs and the XO scallop. The hot honey ribs were very good as they came with a garlic spicy honey sauce. The XO scallops were simply scallops that had vermicelli noodles on the inside. These last one also tasted very good. For our main entrees we pick the Japanese Ramen with the vegan broth, and the chicken fried rice. When it came to the main entrees, both dishes were very good. My only complain was that the broth was a tidy beat salty, but the overall flavor was great. We ordered the XO fried rice with shrimp, mala dry hot, and hot honey spare ribs. Everything was so yummy. The fried rice was flavorful with shrimp, the fish in the mala dish was super tender, and the spare ribs were sweet & juicy, and fell right off the bone. Service was mostly good. Our waitress refilled our waters a few times, but we couldn't find her at the end to get the check so we just paid at the front. The total came out to $88 after tax and tip. I came here with some friends for a late 10:30pm dinner on Saturday night after a long day. The ambience was great, and so was the service. It's also located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. The food came out much more quickly than expected. Lycheetini: I haven't had many lychee martinis before so I don't have a reference to compare this one to, but I thought it was pretty good. You can definitely taste the vodka, but I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. Shishito Peppers: These were alright -- just standard peppers. I'd probably skip them next time. Salt and Pepper Wings: A must get! My favorite dish of the night. The chicken was so crispy and flavorful! Pineapple Fried Rice: Also super delicious and a great entree to share with friends. I loved the presentation. Fire Street Noodles: I enjoyed these, but the flavor was unexpected. It tastes very strongly of shrimp paste. I came here on a weekend with a friend who saw this on instagram and wanted to try it out. I do like the location as it is next to Kam Man with lots of parking. Service here was really good, workers are very tentative--when I dropped my chop sticks one person went to grab me a new set right away, another waiter who saw came back with the another set (haha got two people handing me a new pair). Honestly they were really nice and are on top of their game. The portions of all the food even the starters are huge, great for sharing. I do think you can make a meal just choose a couple of plates from the starter menu as it is quite extensive. Loaded Duck Tots--The tots were quite dark, they either slightly over fried them or their oil needs to be changed out. The duck on top with the hoisin sauce drizzled on top was nothing special. Tots were crispy on the outside. Fluffy baos--I got the pork belly baos. Nothing special with these as well. It looked a bit sad. Wished it was crispy pork inside. The flavor was nothing extraordinary. Do not recommend. S&P Combo--If you like salt & pepper fried food you will like this dish. I was not too amazed by the chicken wing cause it was not crispy but the fried soft shell crab and the fried calamari were good. Nicely seasoned and I do enjoy there is jalapeno if you want a little heat, otherwise this dish is not the least spicy at all. Short rib taco--Who would had thought, taco and fish sauce together are pretty good and unique. The taco was crispy with the taco shell fried with cheese. Ribs were perfectly seasoned and loaded. Uni udon noodles--This was a special. I like this dish the best out of everything we ordered and to say I normally do not like uni. This dish reminds me of garlic noodles at Loui Loui. I think to make it even better they should switch the thin yellow/egg thin noodles for Japanese udon noodles. Overall I think the food is very standard. I don't think I would come back because of that. I understand it is fushion food but there is nothing that really stood out to me. read more

Cloud fusion has super trendy items and drinks on their menu and they offer dollar oysters on Mondays and Tuesdays. I do suggest coming here on Tuesdays for oysters because they're fresher, as opposed to the Monday ones. Their food is all right, not the best so I tend to only come here to get raw oysters. The drinks are cute and they use dry ice for presentation of their drinks. The restaurant has a nice vibe and ambiance to it, in which they play mostly trendy and R&B music. The texture of the noodles takes on the texture of the crab and it is sooooo goooooddd! Lobster fried rice: 5/5 the rice part of the dish actually tastes different than your average fried rice. It is seriously packed with flavor. My only complaint is how tedious it is to get the meat out of the lobster and they didn't give me anything to crack the lobster with. Fire Street Noodles: 3/5 was done nicely but nothing really stood out. Between the curry and the lobster fried rice, you don't have stomach space to spare on this. I hope Cloud does well as I'm hoping for this to be our new Easter tradition. Cloud Fusion is honestly one of my favorite spots in Quincy. If you actually care about FLAVOR, this place won't disappoint. Every dish tastes like someone in the kitchen really loves what they're doing. It's a perfect go-to when you don't feel like driving all the way to Boston. My must-order starter is the Spicy Cucumbers. I don't know what kind of magic oil they use, but it's the perfect balance of spicy, garlicky, crunchy, and refreshing. It's simple but so addicting--I could eat a whole bowl by myself. Their entrees hit just as hard. The Steak Fried Rice is crazy good: tender ribeye, buttery fried rice, and that black pepper garlic flavor that hits right away. Comfort food, but upgraded. The Chili Wontons are another must-try--soft, juicy wontons in a chili oil that has the perfect kick without being overwhelming. It's the kind of heat that keeps you going back for another bite. Portions are solid, the food comes out fast, and everything tastes fresh. You can tell the owner actually put thought into balancing different Asian flavors. Their service was excellent and fast. Saw a cool review for this restaurant on YouTube so my wife and I made reservations to check it out. When we arrived, there were four people standing at the check-in and they stared at us blankly as we walked in. No greeting, no smiles. Side note: I didn't write a review after my first visit, my notes were poor, and my memory faded. Thus, I came back and ordered *almost* the same thing. The things I do for you folks! I had the opportunity to try: - Fluffy Baos (Pork Belly) - Mala Dry Pot (Beef) - Dark and Cloudy - The Influencer The baos were very respectable. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth, fatty and flavorful, though the pieces of pork were on the small side. They were salty as opposed to sweet like most places make it. (Not a complaint/negative, merely an observation). The veggies were limited to scallions, which did help in adding some crunch and freshness. Mala Dry Pot - This dish was excellent! It was an explosion of flavor and savory notes. The veggies added a good fresh element, and the beef was plentiful. Then there is the question of heat... If you're new to me: I have high heat tolerance. I don't eat habaneros like candy, but Tabasco is barely hot to my taste. That said, the Mala Dry Pot was so spicy I could barely eat it. Don't get me wrong, it was a flavorful heat, but painful nonetheless. On my second visit, I was offered it less spicy. I took it, and found it isn't the same. Like a said, a flavorful heat. I asked for the Mala Hot Oil on the side, and was able to adjust the heat level at my leisure. Get some white rice on the side, and you're in heaven. Dark and Cloudy - I love this take on a dark and stormy! The pineapple and lime added a delightful tang, the ginger liqueur a subtle heat, and the bitters rounded everything out. Not too sweet, either. An absolute delight! The influencer - Well! I can see why it's called "The Influencer!l The presentation was 100% on point! The drink was very boozy and had a subtle sweetness. Flavors weren't much to write home about, but that could be attributed to this being drink #2, and after my palate had gone through everything mentioned above. The service here is excellent! It is very kind, attentive, and food came out in no time at all. While the prices aren't on the cheap side, the quality is absolutely there, and the Bao + Dry Pot filled this voracious eater so much, I didn't have room for dessert When's the last time that happened? read more

We got 3 ribs, 5 wingettes, 3 crab mozzarella sticks, 2 golf ball sized crab cake balls, and a small mound of edamame. -Prices were crazy steep and bill came with a 20% gratuity+ 3% service fee bringing our 3 person meal to $300. The first birthday we celebrated here cost over $1000 for 8 people. The food options, taste and service were phenomenal! Came here to check out the new spot! The location was perfect because there is a big parking lot which makes everything so convenient. The interior is very modern and definitely a cool ambiance/vibe. We started off with the spicy cucumbers which was very refreshing and went well with our meals. I also really enjoyed my drink the Fizzy Clouds! I definitely would order that one again. The mahjong tile and maitai were also great choices. I would also get the lobster Rangoon's, very creamy and had a lot of filling in the middle. My main dish was the mango mayo shrimp. It was very good with white rice and definitely shareable with the group. There is a full bar available so it's such a nice spot to hang out and eat. Great vibe and tasty food. Bartenders are always great. Food is consistent. Drinks are fun.

This was a great date night with my husband! The ambience was really nice. I would come back a bit more well dressed and that is a good sign that it's a place to go out, and enjoy drinks on a date or with friends. A good party location. The service was fantastic. The drinks were great as was the food. I attached a photo of our garlic bok choy, fire noodles, and pineapple fried rice. The Mei Wei cocktail was perfectly made. read more
