Buffet set-up for our guests with all the delicious food!
    Kimberly Y.

This is a very overdue review! My family celebrated my son's 100 Day Celebration at the restaurant late last year and had a wonderful time! I stumbled across Feng Shui on Yelp as I was trying to find a new restaurant venue for the celebration the week of our event (unfortunately, the original venue had a small fire and were no longer able to host our guests). Serina, from the restaurant's bar and management team, was extremely responsive from the beginning and helped to answer all my questions about the restaurant and food offerings. She walked me through what was possible for set up and her and her team went above and beyond to help pull the party together at such short notice! From moving furniture around to accommodate our large party, to setting up a buffet to best serve our guests, everyone had a great time! I call these things God things as this was a big answer to prayer to find a venue that was available for our event date and our party size of over 100 people AND able to serve good Chinese food within the budget we had set for food and beverage. Certainly not an easy feat to pull off in 4 days, but Fen Shui did, and I am forever grateful! The restaurant is situated in a plaza with amply parking and has large windows providing very nice natural lighting in to the space, making it very bright and cheery. From the management to the service team, everyone was extremely attentive and took very good care of our guests. Since the party, my family has been back several times and enjoy both the Chinese food and Japanese food. Great spot for sushi in the South Shore! The feedback we got from our guests as well was that the food not only looked amazing, but it also tasted delicious. They very much enjoyed its freshness and variety. I am looking forward to eating there again soon!

If you're looking for a casual but lovely Asian experience, try Feng Shui in Braintree (next to Montilios on Granite St). I've done both the takeout lunch specials and eaten in for dinner 4-5 times now and had a great experience every time, most recently last night. Service was prompt and friendly. We started with a Snow Mountain roll and Pork Dumplings, which we immediately inhaled. Entrees were Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai - both VERY tasty. In the past I've also tried the Basil Fried Rice, the General Chicken, the Orange Chicken, and various other sushi rolls. The drink menu has a lot of options, including my favorite - the Lychee Martini. Be aware that if you have two or more, an Uber or DD may be needed lol. Apologies that I don't have good pictures, but I'm always here with friends and mindfully put my phone down so I can give them my full attention.

Pleasantly surprised! We came here on a Saturday for lunch and ordered plenty of dishes which we all enjoyed. We tried the string beans, spicy fish filets, Shanghai noodles, fried rice and smoked duck. The Shanghai noodles were more of a crispy chow mein than the thicker noodle I was expecting, but it was still yummy! Service was nice and attentive as well. Unassuming on the outside, but great taste and big portions.

Going for lunch and feeling like Feng Shui Restaurant's Peking Duck as we tried it for the first time a few months back. Then it was a 5 star dish. Today it was sub par of a 3 star dish. Tasteless, bland, and dry. Almost as if was last night's leftovers duck. We also added the soup that accompanied the Peking Duck for an extra $15. The soup was also tasteless and bland. As if they just poured boiling water over the Peking Duck bones and added a few cubes of tofu. Disappointing. Although the 4 stars are for the great service and the other dishes which were delicious and very good. Other dishes we ordered were the spider roll, caterpillar roll, double cooked pork belly, typhoon style fried calamari and the salt and pepper fish filet. These were absolutely delicious and prepared very well. Will definitely return again to give another try.

Came to eat lunch as it's a relatively new restaurant. The restaurant is really nice inside with many seats and a full bar. Looks very fancy without needing to be too formal. Ordered the Beef Skewers, Peking Duck w/ bone soup (soup cooked with the duck bones), Typhoon Shelter Chicken Wings and Mongolian Beef. They also let us know that they have a promo right now if you order 75$ worth of food, you get a free General Gao Chicken (or some other entree...don't remember what it was). The beef skewer was very tender and tasty...would definitely order again. The Typhoon Shelter Chicken was also very juicy, crispy and tasty. The duck was not too amazing, not fatty/juicy...seems to be cooked ahead of time. Lastly, the Mongolian beef was decent, but probably won't order again as it didn't WOW me. I didn't really try the General Gao Chicken since I was too full already. All in all, the food was very good and will definitely come back to try their other items. They also have a catering menu if you are planning a party and need some delicious apps/entrees!

Wonderful Udon noodles with seafood. I asked the waitress to not make it salty and do not add any MSG. It turns out just fine for someone who hates salty food! Very accomodating! The waitress is very personable and kind! Definitely coming back again!!!!!!!! The Chinese food is authentic!

I took notice to this restaurant a few times when driving past it and wanted to give it a try once they opened. I came on a Tuesday night; I had called first to ensure that they have peking duck because it's something that takes a long time to prepare. There is a lot of parking in the plaza. The restaurant is quite spacious, looks very clean, can be a casual or fancy dinner, there is a bar with a wide selection of alcohol displayed. Our server, Olivia, seemed like she was still training and getting used to the system, which was fine since the restaurant is fairly new. She was very friendly and quick when asked for things. We ordered a whole peking duck and was asked if we wanted soup or the bones to be stir fried, we chose stir fried bones, which ended up being a great option because it was very flavorful. There was still a lot of meat on the bones and my family loved it more than the actual peking duck meat. The skin was crispy, but the meat just seemed like it lacked flavor. We had to ask for hoisin sauce to compliment the meat. The pancakes seemed like tortillas, I wish it was thinner/softer, maybe smaller. Peking duck was the reason why I wanted to come try the restaurant. I would give it a 7/10. The menu stated that the whole peking duck is $60, however, on the bill, it was $75 - I assume this is for the stir fried bones? Beef fried rice was average (7/10). Coconut fried shrimp was pretty good, super creamy and rich from the coconut (10/10). Sautéed mixed vegetables were just regular vegetables mixed together, nothing special (7.5/10). Salt and pepper calamari were really good, I think it was our favorite dish of the night (10/10). It was very flavorful and crispy. Since they have a selection of Japanese dishes, I wanted to at least try one item! The hamachi nigiri was great, the cut was thick and good rice to fish ratio, didn't taste fishy at all (10/10). I will probably be coming back to try their other Japanese items and drinks!

    Dessert carrot cake. Yum

Excellent 10 out 10. Food taste so fresh. Staff Very friendly. Dining area very clean. Highly recommend. This is my new go to.

The eye round pho had a flavorful broth, but the chicken pho was bland and almost sweet. Someone else at the table tried it and mentioned it tasted slightly like seafood.
