Before getting the service, I asked multiple times if the color I showed in my reference pictures was achievable, and I was repeatedly reassured that it was. I showed several examples to make sure there was no confusion about what I was asking for. Unfortunately, the final color was not what I requested, and the stylist even had to go back in with toner on my roots, but I still did not end up with the color I had asked for. On top of that, I did not come in for a haircut. The stylist asked if I wanted one, and I agreed to a very minimal trim. Instead, she cut off significantly more than I wanted. The combination of being charged $80 more than my original quote, not receiving the color I specifically asked for, and having much more hair cut than I requested is extremely frustrating. If I was going to be charged significantly more than I was originally quoted, I at least expected to leave with the result I had clearly communicated that I wanted. My hair also wasn't all one color I have 3 different shades in my hair now. I'm very disappointed with the overall experience and would not have expected this from a professional salon.

Once the curlers go on, they get plugged in to heat for about 10 minutes! Jinny also took the time to teach newbie-me how to style and care for my new hair, as well as post-perm instructions. She even went above and beyond and was available by phone when I panicked and thought I ruined my hair the next day. Luckily it turned out fine and my curls are still going strong 4 months later!
