This place has potential. The decor is modern but it feels unfinished at this point as you can see in the pictures. It definitely looks like they have bigger plans. The service is great but only 2 people work there so there's only so much they can do when literally 20 people are trying to get bubble tea. We've only tried the dirty brown sugar milk tea and it was pretty good. I think this could be a very good place once they've figured out the workflow, with better staffing and completing the renovation. Will stop back in a few months to see if things improve. read more

They forgot to put sugar on our drinks, so it was a waste of money. There was a spill and splatter on the credit card machine that the staff just left there. The place is empty of decor, the refrigerated cake display was empty (except for a giant fake spider?), so the whole place had an "under construction" feel to it. read more

Such yummy bubble tea and very reasonable prices for the area! I love that it is open right now and the COVID way of ordering is that you call in your order and come pick it up. They don't really want you inside which I guess is a good thing. The only issue was that it was hard to find the menu online, which is why I posted the photo! Due to my bubble tea cravings, I decided to order bubble tea from here since I have never tried it before. I have been to the Fusion Ti in Edison, NJ, but since this one is quite new, this is my first time. Due to COVID-19, I ordered my bubble tea for pick-up through a phone call. The lady on the line was super nice and friendly. She gave me instructions on how to pick-up and where to go. My order was ready in about 2 minutes. I ordered a small rose milk tea with bubbles. The rose flavor was not very strong and tasted a bit watered down. The drink was not as sweet as I expected it to be (and I did not change the sugar amount), but I think it was better than being too sweet. The bubbles were a bit softer than I would like it to be, but it was very chewy. I liked how there were bits of edible rose added to the drink- it made the drink look a lot prettier and I thought it was a nice touch. Although the bubble tea here was not the best bubble tea I have tried, I do want to give the other flavors a shot. If you don't like your drinks to be very sweet, I would recommend the rose milk tea! I will be back here again, but personally, I probably won't get the rose milk tea again. read more

Cool atmosphere, weak tea. Fusion Ti is a small bubble tea and confectionery shop hidden among a patch of trees and bushes near the Livingston town center. At the time of this review, the shop was being managed by a single person, which might be due to Covid-19 restrictions. As many of my complaints with Fusion Ti could be solved with additional staff, I plan on updating my review when the quarantine ban has been completely lifted. I tried two bubble tea drinks while at Fusion Ti, a standard black milk tea with tapioca pearls, and a jasmine milk tea with tapioca pearls. Both drinks were ordered with low sugar as customizing your sugar is a great option in Fusion Ti's favor. When we placed our order, the shop was out of all cup sizes other than medium and had no tapioca pearls prepared, requiring the single employee to brew the tapioca pearls while we waited in addition to serving other customers. The final products were also disappointing as the tapioca pearls had little flavor and a tough, rubbery texture unlike the soft, squishy texture I'd normally expected. The tea in both drinks were also surprisingly bland and I suspect either not enough tea leaves went into the brew, or the brew didn't have enough time to steep with the tea. The decor of Fusion Ti is my favorite part of the establishment. Trendy murals of downtown areas and a mix of modern and 2000's music blasting on the speakers. If it hadn't been for the pandemic, I'd have loved to enjoy my drink inside. In addition to bubble tea, Fusion Ti also carries smoothies, cookies, and other dessert treats. As of writing, Fusion Ti needs more employees to increase the quality of their drinks before they can solidify their spot as the newest Livingston hangout spot. read more

Another place in livingston for bubble tea! I'm so happy! Came here late at night and got the London fog and regular black milk tea with bubbles. Flavors are spot on and definitely authentic. What's good is that you can choose your level of sweetness to your liking. I usually get the black milk tea to decide if I like the store because it's base for most of the flavors. It definitely passes my test as the sweetness doesn't overpower or under-power the rich tea notes. The only opportunity for them is to make sure the bubbles are chewy and soft as at the end of the night they can harden due to steeping too long. Other than that, I'll be back and try other flavors. Whenever I have a boba craving I'd always have to go to the city to get my fix. There wasn't really a place close by that sold decent bubble tea, until now. My friend and I stopped by this weekend and ordered the rose tea and almond milk tea, two tricky drinks to get right. His was delightfully refreshing, tasting like real almonds rather than the bitter almond extract most other places use. Mine had a nice pink hue, with a strong but not overwhelming taste of rose, and real rose petals inside the drink. This was Grand opening weekend, and they still have a few kinks to work through, but I'm excited to finally have a place I can go to get my weekly boba fix. I'm so glad bubble tea is now accessible to me and I don't have to go all the way to the next town over to satisfy my bubble tea needs! Fusion Ti has so many options that it took me a good long while to choose what I wanted to order. I ordered a large jasmine green tea milk tea with pearls and lychee jelly and it was great: the pearls were chewy and not too sweet and the lychee jelly tasted like childhood. Tammy, who was working there, was very kind and patient with me and made my drink super quickly but not sacrificing quality. I'm sorry I don't like to give bad reviews, but I have no choice on this one. I generally love boba/bubble tea but I had to throw this one out! Cons: I asked the lady if they had Taiwanese Milk Tea as it was on the menu, Nope! I asked if I can have Grass Jelly, Nope! So I ended up ordering Caramel Milk Tea with Tapioca pearls... As I watched her make this, she microwaved the tea, which I have never seen in any other boba shops... I took like two sips and it was watered down, tasted like artificial cough syrup. Also, their cookie display was a let down. They had turkey shaped cookies (probably from Thanksgiving?) and the cookies were just all over the place and looked messy. There's not many bubble tea places within this area, so I had to check out Fusion Ti. I've been to the other one in Edison, and they have a similar atmosphere and vibe. I think I only saw one, maybe two people working here. I don't think the bubble tea here is anything special, but it was enough to satisfy my cravings. The drinks don't have much of a strong tea flavor, which is fine if that's not what you're looking for. However, the lady, who I think is the owner, was very friendly and polite to me. Checked out the local tea scene while visiting from out of state. Found out the student who served me shared my love of matcha. She helped me dial back the sweetness to the perfect level. Very attentive and I'm sure she would have adjusted it if it had turned out too sweet. Cute decor, great tasting drink- will definitely be my go to place whenever I'm in town. Missed the grand opening special of buy one get one but I did get a special of pay for a med get a large. So I got the leche with the leche boba. Delicious! They had cute cookies and patties in the case and a large menu of drinks to choose from. I'm not very adventurous but I will be back to try more! I was so excited that there was a bubble tea place in the area, but that excitement soon turned to disappointment when I arrived. The young lady was not personable and she gave no suggestions, up-sell, etc. I ordered a Japanese green milk tea with boba (tapioca). I drank the tea when I got home, and it tasted horrible! When I bit into the tapioca it was grainy in the middle and the tea has no flavor to it. I threw the whole drink away. This place will get no more money from me. read more

I really enjoyed the flavor options in this place. I love how it's not only Boba tea but also smoothies and ice cream. Would love to see their menu be expanded, I could see a lot of interesting combos being made here. We were looking for a nice place to have bubble tea and we found this place. It's a very cozy place, looks clean has free wifi(I think). We ended up ordering a taro smoothie and the fusion tropical smoothie. There are comfortable seats and a couch for waiting. We didn't sit there long since our drinks were made swiftly. The decor is instragramable as well. Playing pop music is a plus. The ambiance is very fitting. The drinks wre excellent. I feel the employees should be more welcoming but they were effecient. We have been patronizing this place for over a year and unfortunately the Covid hit all businesses hard. Most try to recover with quality and service. Unfortunately this one has instituted a "service charge" that they tell you when you are about to pay but cannot provide a receipt matching the same total as charged??? Order was short an item but there does not seem to be any regret or remorse. Had to return back from home to pick up the missing item. Errors happen but instead of acknowledging it, "you can talk to my manager and higher ups " is what's offered. Product is good and I hope they don't hurt their cause by their charges and attitudes. The rewards program has been terminated claiming COVID. KungFu tea is equally good and service thus far there is good. Perhaps this was an anomaly today. Used to make the long drive to the Edison Fusion Ti for years since I was a teen because it was my favorite bubble tea spot with good flavors you can only get from there. Was excited to have one closer to me, but I agree with other reviews that the customer service ruined it for me. This location is inconsistent with their flavors and doesn't always taste like the drinks at the Edison location which is totally okay and understandable since they're new. However, the employees don't greet you even though they see you walk in and they seem unhappy which makes us feel super uncomfortable. We came in closer to closing as we like to come after dinner and one employee visibly looked at the other, sighed and said something to the other in front of us. If they were a little warmer and provided better customer service I would go more often. read more

I walked in and they didn't have boba ready, they didn't even realize I was there so I waited for a while, they didn't know which Toppings to put in, and the boy and girl working in there tasted the topping from the spoon and then used that same spoon to put my toppings in. I asked for more stuff in my tea because I paid for extra and they were rolling their eyes and whispering about it to eachother. Extremely rude and disorganized. Great location and very cute atmosphere. We ordered 1 black milk tea with bubble, 1 almond milk tea with bubbles, and 1 passion fruit tea. The almond milk tea was ok, tasted more like almond extract. The black tea was very good and the bubbles were so chewy and sweet! Passion fruit tea we ordered without bubbles and sugar and it was so good! They also have a rewards program which I love; buy 9 drinks and get 1 free (shouldn't be hard for me :)). Will definitely be returning. read more
