Been a few times now and absolutely love the coffee. It's soooo good, but the last time I was there the price put me off :( I got the Motown latte 16 oz and asked to add a little bit of maple, take out less vanilla. It made my latte jump from $6.50 to $9.00? Idk just felt like way too much. It's great but for that price I'm not sure I can justify it frequently

Roast Coffee is a vibe. Clean space, good energy, and the coffee actually tastes like coffee. You can tell they care about what they're serving. Staff is super cool. My favorite Morristown coffeeshop

This new coffee shop is amazing for so many reasons! First of all, cutest vibe ever as far as music and I loved the design choices. My friend got the banana bread cinnamon latte and I got the toasted samoa latte which were both so flavorful. I've had a lot of banana bread lattes and this one was arguably my favorite! As far as baked goods (I can't speak to the sandwiches)- they were droooool worthy. We originally got the maple cruffin and the double chocolate chip cookie and they were SO fresh, gooey and delicious. The owners Jesse and Sally kept checking in on the customers since it was so packed and they were short staffed, so I'm sure the long lines and staffing will get figured out in the coming weeks as they get settled! Lastly, the best surprise of the day was that since they were closing at 3 the owner Jesse gave us the pastries they were going to toss out so we also got to try the matcha cookie, the ube cookie, the walnut chocolate chip cookie and the toffee bun and those were just as delectable as the other pastries. We will definitely be back :')

This new shop I visited was so cute! The line was very long, but I'm glad I waited! They got through each customer relatively quickly. I ordered the honey bunny latte (spring special) and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the aesthetic of this location as well. Will be back :)

Oh man, this is a hard review, but let's start off with the positives. Aesthetics of the cafe is absolutely chef's kiss. Totally gives me LA vibes. And now for the crux of the review: from entering to getting my drink, I waited almost an hour. I totally understand it's the holiday time and they have more customers than usual, but waiting an hour for a drink is pretty wild. I talked to the barista and she told me this was one of their slower days. If this is a slower day, I can't imagine what a busy day looks like! The drink was good and tasty but because I waited so long I wasn't as excited. It's also incredibly loud in the cafe. I wouldn't mind the music if I was in and out, but it's a lot on the ears if you're in the cafe for awhile. I also noticed that they charged a 3% service fee upfront without having any signage. I do wish they would have made that known before ordering drinks. I know they're a new establishment but would love to see if they're able to improve some processes so the wait can be cut in half.

I was looking forward to trying the newly opened Roast in Morristown! We went relatively early on a Saturday morning so the line wasn't too long. I had the banana bread latte and my friend ordered the crème brew-yay. I loved the rounded bottoms of the plastic cups and my latte came with a small piece of banana bread! It was cold, but I loved the unique addition to the drink. The latte could have used a little less banana syrup but it was still delicious. I would definitely come back to roast to try their matcha or other drinks!

The competition continues to grow in Morristown. I'm a Lokl and Rey Sol girlie, but I also really liked the iced Americano from Roast. It's a moderate strength similar to Lokl (Rey Sol is POWERFUL). This is a good amount of caffeine and a good taste. The interior is...trying a bit too hard. Nothing special. Same thing like General Coffee, it's modern and "whatever". Not unique by any means. Lokl is creative and fun and very special. The one thing I like about Roast that makes them different is the shape of their coffee cups - that's pretty fun and unique. I also appreciate how they let you do your own milk and sugar - I can't stand when my coffee gets "milked down" due to someone adding too much. Much better when I can control the amount. Let's see how they do.

Their opening day was crazy busy. We waited in line which was not moving at all. We gave up after a while and went to Lokl. The next weekend we tried again and were able to get in. The setup is very poor. To get in line to place your order, you have to walk all the way to the back. There's barely any room to walk back without pushing up against someone and being elbowed by other patrons who are attempting to place an order. Once you place the order, if you find a seat in the back, I feel for you. The orders come out front and you have to struggle to get back to the front. Bringing the coffee back was another ordeal. The food comes out from the kitchen in the back and they constantly disturb the customers waiting in line to order. The servers don't really interact with customer and didn't ask if we needed anything else. The food was pretty good- we tried the smoked salmon toast and the chipotle turkey sandwich. The coffee is alright, nothing unique. Disappointed as we had been waiting for this place to open for quite some time and watched them get setup nice the past few weeks. I hope this is just struggles of the early days and improves as they get settled.

I was hesitant to believe the hype but Roast made the best strawberry matcha I've ever had, and their banana bread latte is amazing.

The kofte was similarly delicious and came with lots of rice and salad on the side. For desert, we both shared a piece of baklava, which did not disappoint.
