I merely submitted photos and the measurements his bid came back for materials and labor that's all, very vague and incomplete in my experience. Isban came out and met with us looked over the job and gave us pointers, suggestions and it was the best decision for us. His Crew is professional, courtesy and the work is high quality and every detail was covered. Target Painting did many extras for us given our health situation for this we are forever grateful to Isban Target Painting for his kindness. We hired NorCal Painting to paint our front door and exterior trims. They arrived on time, meticulously prepared the surfaces, and got to work right away. Their attention to detail is exceptional, even when it comes to the smallest aspects of the job. The finished result looks fantastic. Beyond painting, Vinh is also highly knowledgeable in other areas. He helped me identify and fix an incorrect hot wire connection in a subpanel that had been causing electrical issues in the house. It was a relatively difficult problem that other electricians had been unable to resolve, but Vinh's experience and expertise allowed him to diagnose and fix it quickly. Quality workmanship usually doesn't come cheap. However, Vinh offered me a very reasonable price, and considering the results, I believe it was an outstanding value. Henry was meticulous in his repair, matching the paint and stain accurately. He had to actually fabricate a new oak door frame which matched the original perfectly. He is very particular about results, is neat, tidy, and clean. He has also painted exterior shutters and a lot of wrought iron fencing for me. My house required some minor exterior carpentry repairs prior to painting, so I included photos of the carpentry work that needed to be done when I sent my project off to bid. Most of the painters replied that I needed to hire my own carpenter - they just applied paint. But Kevin Johnson does it all. As noted here, Kevin's brother is a skilled carpenter and multi-craftsman who does some work for Kevin. Kevin's Yelp reviews are excellent, and he seemed to embody the kind of person who would be perfect for my job. Kevin came to my house quickly to measure for the job to prepare a detailed quote. Nothing fazed him. He was confident that he could repair all of the items that were required for this job. His price was excellent, and he was able to start in about a week. Kevin is the definition of professionalism, from estimate, to contract, to execution and completion. His team fully prepped the house, including, pressure washing, sealing, sanding, patching, and carpentry repair. No shortcuts were taken. He removed all external fixtures before painting, too.
