I am very grateful to Chalard for fixing my car for such a low price. I have been having problems with my brakes for sometime now. I am scared to have it fixed because it might cost a lot of money. But I was surprised he didn't charged us much. Half the price of what others has estimated. My prayers were answered. Now I am driving my car without worrying that me and my son might get into an accident due to break problems. Another bonus is, he fixed our door handles on the driver side and the passenger side (the insides) and charged us so cheap as well. He did all the repairs in one day even though the whole place was packed with cars!!! Very affordable place and Chalard is very helpful and nice. It was nice to finally meet him in person. Once upon a time, I had a job that involved reviewing service quality at luxury hotels and resorts, so when I experienced world-class level service at this auto repair business, I was in a pleasant state of shock. Tiko and Andre must have been trained by Ritz Carlton. Kind and considerate, they know how to treat people and build trust with their clients. I could list the many ways they do this, but I don't want to bore you. Most recently, my car showed symptoms of needing a new engine. Instead of taking the job, Andre did research to find that I qualified for a dealer warranty. He suggested I take the car to the dealer, and indeed, he was correct. I highly, highly recommend this jewel of a business. I could not be MORE DISSAPOINTED. A co worker at NBC suggested I use her mechanic for new brakes. I took my 2007 Lexus to chalards and he quoted me 1425.00 for pads and rotors and labor. I approved the work but luckily he could not repair my car and complete by yesterday. ( june 2 nd 2010 ) this morning I brought my Lexus to my regular mechanic and picked up my car a hour ago , leaving with a bill in the amount of 474.88. My mechanic said the rotors were FINE they needed to be resurfaced NOT replaced as Chalards said !!!!!!!!!!! Its my hope that it was an oversite on Chalards part. FYI my mechanic said for pads NEW rotors and labor the cost would of been 750.00 still a great deal less than CHALARDS !! RIP OFF read more

This Dude is amazing, he knows his stuff in and out. Doesn't matter, u name it. He can work on a space shuttle for all I know. The dude is a great, no bullshit machanic and very friendly as well. It is hard to get a good macahnic that doesn't wanna scam you but he is all business and sometime even diagnose your car and if it is a minor fix he will and never charges you. for it. I have been going to Charlard for all my repairs and never to the dealer except if he only tells me to go to the dealer because of a waranty issue. Well...Mr. Chalard is as great as others say. Took my mercedes in for a power steering line leak and to get the mirror lamp fixed...Mr. Chalard fixed the power steering lines at no charge (said they were loose and just needed tightening ...after the stupid dealer wanted to replace them for a ridiculous sum of money)...and just charged me minimal labor of $40 to replace the mirror lamp plus what the parts cost. His prices are reasonable and he is very honest. If Mr. Chalard ever goes out of business or retires...I am sunk for a mechanic of this caliber. read more

I was recently in the Burbank area for my grandma's funeral with my 2 week old and 2 year old when my car decided it wouldn't start. After a day full of stress and grief (and an extra night in a hotel) I had my car towed to Chalard's. After telling him of my need to get home to Sacramento, he took my car right in and found the problem within 5 minutes and fixed in 2 hours.
