The layout inside this store is very cramped with lots of merchandise, seems like you're bumping into lots of things especially near the front of the store. With Newbury Comics located at the other end of the mall, this FYE location offers very competitive pricing and some pretty good sales and promotions such as Buy 3 Used CDs or DVDs, Get 1 Free, $7.99-$9.99 CDs, and $5 (with any purchase) impulse CDs & Movies at the counter. I've shopped at this particular location for many years since no sales tax is charged in New Hampshire. Back in May 2000, I preordered my copy of the Britney Spears Oops! I Did It Again CD at this store. This store has organized several CD signings and meet & greets over the years in conjunction with Simon Mall events including Natalie, Dream Street, Plain White Ts, AJR, and others. I've spent plenty of time shopping inside this FYE and I usually comparison shop online before making my purchases. I've found that the sale prices here on several of the popular/new release CDs are sometimes priced lower than the nearby competition (Newbury Comics, Barnes & Noble, Bull Moose) . Recently, I bought several popular CDs here for $7 each during the Black Friday weekend events. It is unfortunate that many music retailers including FYE have been closing stores and /or cutting back on CDs due to online music downloads and Amazon. The FYE in Concord closed this year and the FYE in Hanover MA is liquidating, which has been "The Place" for many popular meet & greets and signings for the Boston area. The FYE (Crossgates Mall) in Albany NY also hosts meet & greets and signings for several musicians and WWE wrestlers. Additionally, the other remaining NH location in Newington also offers pretty good sale prices and selection. With Best Buy and Target cutting out most their music CDs and focusing on movies, FYE is still the place to shop for my music CD needs! You can also order CDs on the fye.com site too!

Didn't know I'd have the opportunity to go to a "pumpkin patch" before this trip but so grateful…read morethat I did. Supposedly this is the #1 ranked fall farm by Newsweek last year...I haven't been to any of the other ranked locations or a large number of non-ranked spots so can't validly compare - but from what I experienced I'd say this is top notch. It's definitely goes beyond a regular "pumpkin patch" and has things to see and do or taste for all members of the family. People of all ages find joy in apple picking, fighting the honeybees, playing with goats, and riding in a wagon. Older adults can enjoy photo worthy moments in the sunflower fields too! Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to taste other products from the farm store but I'm sure they're wonderful.

We purchased the tickets and the bag at the little ticket house. In order to enter the orchard, you present your tickets to the employee. The animal farm had goats, sheep and roosters and there is no fee to enter. There are feed machines which accept quarters so you can feed the animals and wash stations to clean up after. In that same area is a large sandbox with some pretty cool toys. In the back are the flowers and pumpkins. No fee to enter either, we got some nice pictures with the pumpkins. Those are priced based on size and there are 4 of them at the entrance with prices so you know how much you will pay for each size. Plenty of parking and handicap parking. It was a nice experience, a tad warm, but otherwise beautiful day and the employees were all friendly. We were there for about an hour. TIP: if you plan to feed the animals, bring a small envelope or cup (like the size of a condiment one) to hold the food pellets. Otherwise you just have to hold them in your hand. The sheep area was loaded with flies, but towards the back barn part (near the sandbox), there were very few flies and a better goat feeding experience. To get 5 stars, it would be nice if: 1) They trimmed the grass in between the orchards at bit. It was really thick and high and very challenging for the toddlers to walk through, especially with so many hidden, dropped apples. 2) There was more than 6-8 pellets per quarter. 3) The store had a bit more selection. They did have honey sticks, donuts (which were just ok), some produce and T shirts. Maybe offer other locally made candy or goods to offer a more fun shopping experience.

For context, this review is being written after trying only one of BB's products. That having been…read moresaid, they have made a most prodigious first impression on yours truly. As some may recall, I love me some rib eye. As such, I happen to spot a butcher shop near the same place wifey and I get our pedis. That's how I found this place. Usually I head to Wicked Good Butcha up in Bedford. But I figured since this place is way closer, I'd give them a try. Anyways, we try a little under 2 pounds of rib eye that day. Only...it seemed like a bit less than that. Lemme explain.. These particular cuts of meat could have been distant cousins. Because whilst one was pretty lean with still plenty of marbling, the other piece was something like...30% fat. So, that meant that sometime after grilling was done and carnivorous consumption commenced, I had to essentially leave behind the less than edible chewy, fatty pieces. Nevertheless, you can see from the pics I took how delicious these cuts of beef look. The meaty parts I could manage to extract melted in my mouth like butter (which meant I nailed the mid-rare temp I was going for). Point is though...I couldn't have made a better steak if I just went to the grocery store. The store itself is pretty small and quaint. Everything about their display screams "fresh". Thing is....I've yet to try more things from here. Hence, my lack of fifth star. I figure, it's too soon to tell. But perhaps after I obtain some baby back ribs from them, maybe....we'll see. For now though...I'm giving Brother's Butcher 4 savory rib eye steaks on the grill that melt in your mouth out of 5.

Stopped by Brothers Butcher Shop in Nashua as we had never tried it…read more We asked the clerk what grade the NY strip steaks were and he had no idea. He asked another girl working there and she said I think its Choice, but she did not sound like she was really sure what grade of meat it was. It was $21.99/lb. We decided to try one. Got home and grilled it. It was nothing special and not very tender. When your buying beef you should know what USDA grade it is, and sellers should have it labeled in the cases for buyers to see...Select grade being the lowest, choice grade being in the middle, and prime grade being the best and most tender of the three......Just bought prime grade strip steak for only 19.99 lb from Old Boys Butcher Shop in Merrimack NH a newly opened business and it was VERY tender. We also got a Chicken Pie from the frozen case made by Wrights Farm. It was $18.99 for an 8 inch pie. I am always looking for a great Chicken Pie. I've yet to find one except for Raymonds Turkey Farm. This pie was pathetic. And I mean pathetic. Tiny pieces of chicken, bland gravy and no vegetables. No taste. It had a bottom crust which was very hard to cut to get the pie out of the pan. The 8 inch pie is barely enough for 2 people. And I made mashed potatoes and peas also. My experience at this butcher shop was not overwhelming by any stretch. Would not recommend Brothers Butcher Shop. High prices and mediocre food.
