I wish I could give this horrible establishment -5 stars! We ordered two taco plates with sides of refried beans, fuzzy rice and latin fried potatoes. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was cold and tasteless. The "latin" fried potatoes were frozen home fries that were still frozen in the middle, there was nothing "latin" about these potatoes. The refried beans were almost chilled and bland. The rice was room temperature. The meat shredded brisket, shredded chicken and fajita beef was cold and tasteless. Fuzzy's is always a great choice especially in Abilene because everything else closes at 9. The staff is a young and friendly bunch. Great atmosphere to watch games and fights. I recommend the shredded chicken nachos, it is great to share, because trust me... You cannot finish it all! read more

You order a meal online for asap but it gives you a 45 min. Wait time, then the restaurant is dead and they still don't put the order in till write before the time given even though ticket says asap. Don't order online because they will be assholes to you for that and the manager will give you an attitude when there really isn't a need for one. read more

I just don't know what happened to Fuzzy's. First the quality of food sort of went downhill. They seem to have fixed that. If you've ever been to Fuzzy's you know that when your order is ready the Beeper that they handed you goes off. Well today mine did not go off. So one of the cooks came up behind me and jabbed his finger in my back and said hey man your orders up here. Some of the tacos are good. Some aren't. I would say Fuzzy's is a 3.5, but that isn't an option. The bbq taco is good and so were the chicken fajita tacos. The mahi fish taco was tiny and not very good. My buddy got the nachos (huge plate), and was pretty good. A good place for a cheap bite, but not much else. read more

Stopped in this morning to grab a couple of breakfast tacos. Fuzzy's never disappoints. - The breakfast tacos are fantastic. They did not skimp on the filling on the made to order tacos. We weren't sure what to expect here, but we liked it! We ordered two Taco plates, both with soft corn but one plate was grilled shrimp and the other with "spicy" pork (tastey but no heat) and both had rice and beans, one Mix-Mex rice and one cilantro lime! We got a order of chips and queso-- it was good, but probably won't order again. We saw someone with a plate of nachos and they were MASSIVE. We're definitely ordering those next time! They have cups for $1.49 (32oz) being the cup back and it's $1. They have a margarita machine upfront where you order, then a bar that sits in the middle and you can order outside on the patio or from the inside. I always enjoy checking out a new restaurant that opens up in Abilene, really any restaurant in Abilene, I just enjoy eating. Made my way to Fuzzy's Taco Shop around noon or soon after, as you might expect lines were long giving me a chance to do the "social check-ins" while waiting. 15 minutes wait in line to order around another 10 minutes for the food. Need a quick in & out don't go there for lunch now... Looks like a fun after work place for food and a couple of drinks. Wonderful outside area to sit and enjoy a Texas evening. I'll have to check that out sometime. Parking may be hard to find 9am-5pm but after that should be a short walk but that's the same as when it was the Rack Daddy location. Eat Up Abilene!! read more

This is for the location by Mall of Abilene. Lunch on a Wednesday, not crowded. I ordered shredded chicken salad. I had to take my order back to kitchen because they forgot tomatoes and tortilla strips. The guy just took some regular chips and crunched in his hand over the salad. No tomatoes were added. The chicken wasn't warm. Ugh! I usually love the food here but was totally disappointed today. I won't be spending $10 on a meal here again. Sad. read more

I love the tempura fish tacos at Fuzzy's. I get the taco plate with the Latin potatoes and refried beans. Everything is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their queso is one of my favorites! This was the worst food I think I have ever had! I use to eat here often when I lived in Abilene, never was it so disgusting! I'm pretty sure my dog wouldn't have eaten the pile of slop placed on a plate! But I'd never do that to my dog, he even deserves better than that mess! Nachos aren't hard to make, but y'all sure did mess them up! The servers were more worried about the happy hour party than actual service, she seemed irritated it took us 3 minutes to look over the menu as she kept rolling her eyes and huffing! I believe she was the manager too!!!! Took a call on her cell while we were placing our order and with her taking that call she missed part of our order completely!!!! I went there for the first time the other day and it was horrible. I ordered the beef fajita plate, and the beef was inedible because it was so far from anything resembling tender. And that is no exaggeration; it was ridiculously bad. I ended up just piling the vegetables into a mess and fuming about how much I was overcharged for the worst meal I've had in years. I'll never go back, and recommend to anyone who isn't all about looking like some poser on Fuzzy's oh - so - cool outdoor patio to do the same, That seems to be the crowd that goes there: the hipster wannabes and college crowd that has no clue how to be an actual adult. Is that your safe space, dressing like you imagine an actual adult does, but looking like a clown when you do? Great plan. Just left the Fuzzy's Mexican restaurant by the mall in Abilene , for the first and last time. Breakfast is not their claim to fame , ordered huevos rancheros plate, beans were cold not cool "cold " I told cook at window and he put more in a salsa bowl and stuck in microwave , handed to me and said be careful (Not hot still barely warm). Ranchero sauce had good flavor but had lots of raw onion ranchero sauce is fully cooked, potatoes were old that they tried to reheat tasteless.
