I ordered Crossroads tacos. It's brisket with avocado . It's delicious and ingredients are fresh! I ended up ordering one more taco haha. The service is quick. You order on the counter and they give you one of those things that alert you but during this visit, the staff who took our order brought the food we ordered. My husband and I are addicted to the Green Chili Queso and chips served here. The tacos are good too, but it's the queso that always has us returning. Matter of fact, we were lamenting that we didn't buy-in to the annual queso program offered each December. If you are going to come here once a month, you might as well get it so you can enjoy free queso with your meal each time. My husband has a few regular tacos that he cycles through on the menu. He likes them predictable. I prefer something new and unique each time, so I generally go for the taco-of-the-month. I never know what new inventive taco flavor combo they will come up with, but I'm usually happily satisfied each time. The restaurant is very casual. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. You must remember to place your pager on the center of the table so that they can find you when your food is ready. There is inside and outside tables. The patio is enclosed with a zipper tarp to keep the bad weather out. We often dine on the patio and bring our dog with us. He can't go inside the restaurant, but it seems okay if he lies down next to our picnic table outside while we eat. Always enjoy this place. I frequent Torchy's a lot!!! Like a whole lot, I love going for their Torchy's Tini, it's my favorite. I've frequented so many locations like Plano, Frisco, Casa Linda, and Las Colinas. And all of those locations have been great. The Addison location really disappointed me and I would definitely not be going back. I honestly never leave bad reviews, even if Ive had bad service I usually just assume the workers must be busy or have had a bad day but this case was different. The female bartender who wears glasses serving on 12/7/25 around 8 acted very inappropriately. I ordered my favorite drink and she brings it out in the shaker, doesn't bother to bring it in a martini glass and doesn't add any olives. Olives are what make a martini a MARTINI. I asked her if I could get a side of them and she pauses and says that they may not have any and if they do it may take a while. I kinda figured she may be closing up shop and hasn't prepped the olives and has probably washed the cups. So I didn't even bother her for the glass just the olives. I told her if they didn't have any then no worries. She comes back and just tosses the cups on the table and walks away with a sour face as she did that I said thank you and she didn't bother to say your welcome she just walked away. She seemed so bothered and the toss was very much intentional even my friend noticed it. Me being such a pushover still gave her the benefit of the doubt. I'm watching the game on the TV and I glance at her and she is looking straight at me with a disgusted face. So honestly I took this experience very personally after I caught her staring at me like that. The other people at the bar were requesting limes and more drinks and she didn't give them any attitude. If I have to recommend anything, it will always be the queso dip. And do yourself a favor in order more than one. It's one of my favorite items. Yes, it is queso and you can probably get anywhere, but the taste is unique and I enjoy it. I like the ambience and I like the service. Everyone is very sweet nice and accommodating. The staff here was pretty friendly too and even went back and got extra salsas for myself when I asked if they had more. Been coming to torchys for a while. Their green Chile queso is absolutely delicious. Not kidding it's the best queso around. Has guacamole and that Diablo sauce (some heat) and it's pure perfection. On weekends they have $3.50 sangrias, mimosas, bloody Mary's, and tequila sunrises. Their tacos are awesome and they serve breakfast tacos all day. Try their taco of the month. Every month they have a delicious combination. it's dalways get the wrangler or the trailer park (trashy) it means with queso, and it's always delicious. I have not been to a Torchy's in a while but I went the other week for a pick up order. The order was not ready when I showed up a few minutes after the stated time, took another 5-7 minutes. I got a full order of Guacamole & Chips $7.75, Queso & Chips $7.50 (no diablo sauce), 1 Republican Taco $4.95 and 1 Democrat Taco $5.50. The chips are okay but both the guacamole and the queso are good. It is too spicy for me if I leave the diablo sauce in it. The tacos have noticeably shrunk since I was last here. I would say easily 30% smaller, pretty disappointing. I like their apps but for the price I do not think the tacos are worth it anymore. read more

Every time we order something is wrong or missing. Tonight we chose delivery, it's Door Dash, not them, and that was a huge mistake. The delivery guy left the bag on the ground instead of taking 5 more steps to leave it on the bench and ring the bell as is customary. Then the order... Sour cream missing on everything, and one taco missing completely. They would not deliver my missing taco, so if I still wanted it, I needed to go pick it up. WTF?!?! But I was still hungry, so I went and got my taco which they were happy to make for me, and she even threw in a few gift cards for my inconvenience. Thats all fine, but it doesn't solve the core problem. And here's why I'm dropping them to 2 stars 1. They ALWAYS mess up something in the order 2. Delivery was crap, and there's no way to reduce the tip that he didn't deserve when he left my food on the ground 3. There's no way to fix a messed up order without going to the store in person, defeating the point of delivery in the first place I'm annoyed. Oh torchys... the best tacos in the whole world and we all know it - what's even left to say? I stopped by this torchys when I was in the area, and needless to say, it was an excellent decision. Everyone was super friendly, the restaurant was spacious and clean, the queso and tacos came out quickly, the frozen strawberry margarita was PERFECT. I got the trailer park and made it trashy (added queso on top) and a chicken fajita taco. Both were amazing. My dad got the Baja shrimp and mr. orange (salmon) tacos and thought they were incredible. My mom got the Democrat (barbacoa) and had a similar reaction. Although I'm from Nashville, spicy food isn't entirely my jam, so I usually ask for the queso without the Diablo sauce and it's just the right amount of hot for me.
