I've ordered from Fuzzys numerous times through DoorDash. The food was always good. Then a couple of months ago, things changed. Order five things, 1 is missing and 1 is wrong. Order again 3 things, 1 is missing. Order 3 things again tonight, 1 is missing. Different drivers, bag is sealed. The problem is at Fuzzys, not with a driver. They obviously don't care. Even after immediate complaints. DoorDash issues a tiny refund. Fuzzys doesn't care. There won't be a 4th problem with Fuzzys. It's OFF my list of Mexican food. Forever! read more

This was my first visit to Fuzzy's, and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I ordered takeout so we could walk home after picking it up. Our food was ready right on time and still steaming hot when we got back. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Burrito Bowl, and it was incredible--super flavorful, fresh, and even macro-friendly. My only complaint is that I wished the portion was a bit larger. It was so tasty, but I was still slightly hungry and craving more (though I'll admit, I'm a big eater). Always a good time when I'm here. Whether dine in or takeout the food is always delicious and the queso is my favorite!! Went for lunch at the perfect time. It wasn't super busy, but after we got out of line, the lunch crowd started to pick up. The service was efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I'm really fond of this location -- probably because I'm an OU student and have been going here throughout my college career -- but also it has friendly fast service for solid food at solid prices. The counter ordering is super easy, and there's always seating. The back patio is kind of hidden which makes it better in a way! I love the monthly special margaritas. They're always creative and tasty. The breakfast tacos are some of my absolute favorite for food. The queso by itself isn't impressive at all, but adding chorizo makes it great. Staff who took order was great , not busy , quesadilla was hot but 2 big orders of nachos were not even warm . Im a tourist and I was super excited to see what the deal was about Fuzzy's Taco Shop. My friends told me this restaurant was amazing so I checked it out. First thing I noticed was everyone was on their phones. I was standing for around 9-10 minutes and no one asked me if I wanted menus, wanted to eat in or dine out, or if I had any questions. Not even a basic greet. I stared directly at the direction of this waiter on his phone by the chip machine and still nothing and at the host but he was on a phone call. This place only had one table of 4 people. (I scanned and checked to make sure I wasn't being impatient.) The food might of been good. I don't know. Everything was very tasty! It's a nice colorful space with very friendly service. Tons of different taco and burrito offerings. I had the two tacos combo with a mahi tempura taco that was sooo good and a breakfast taco of chorizo egg and cheese. As someone who lived in Phoenix for a decade and now lives in NYC I can't say how much I miss good southwestern food and Fuzzy's hit the spot. The refried beans and rice were delicious too. Weird and bad. The "chorizo" on their chorizo and egg breakfast tacos is gray. It tastes like unseasoned ground pork--no spices--hence the lack of the customary red color. And when you go to try to add some flavor by adding some of their signature salsa, you find it tastes like nothing but vinegar. Which is because it is literally just ketchup and vinegar mixed together, verified by the list of ingredients printed on the packet. Vinegar salsa is an abomination, and not something I ever want to encounter again. I would rather eat a Sonic breakfast burrito than this dry mess. read more

As a Mexican-American, I know Mexican food, and although this is far from authentic, it's not at all bad. I had a soft and hard-shell brisket taco, both were pretty good, although they were a little skimpy on the brisket for the hard-shell taco. However, the soft tortilla taco more than compensated for the other taco. The brisket was not bad at all, it doesn't taste much like smoked bbq style brisket, and it does taste a little like beef birria or beef barbacoa (kind of), it pretty decent, decent enough to want to return. We sat outside where it's dog friendly and ate some good food. We overslept and missed church today. I thought I could at least salvage the day by suggesting to eat at Fuzzys. My whole family was really glad I did. I haven't been to this location before. I wasn't sure to expect because it was on Campus Corner. I was surprised to walk in and be one of the only people there. I thought for sure this particular location would be super busy around 11 on a Sunday but then my husband remind me that college kids sleep in on weekends. I got the combo plate with a beef taco and cheese enchilada. We also ordered some chicken nachos for the table and two quesadilla kids meals. Y'all, this meal was awesome! It really hit the spot. It's the best Mexican food I've had in a good while. The taco was perfection, the cheese enchilada was creamy and delicious and the rice and beans were also really good. You can't go wrong with their chicken nachos. Plenty of toppings and cheese so that I didn't find a bare chip in the bunch. My kids, of course, ate theirs right up with zero complaints. My husband had the chicken salad and kept commenting how wonderful it was. This is the best location I've been to so far and would happily make my "go to" taco spot. Okay, a fave place to eat when visiting the folks in Norman. I have yet to not like what was ordered. Tonight's choices included: Drunken Pig (tasty side, or yummy quick lunch); smothered Grilled Shrimp burrito with cilantro-lime rice & black beans; huge plate of shredded chicken nachos; enchilada plate with borracho beans; and the brisket sandwich with potatoes. Only thing I was 'meh' about was the bread for the brisket sandwich. Underwhelming amount of meat, too. Everything else I would order and eat again! (Mind you, that was an order for FOUR people! When I was still living in Norman and didn't know anyone, I would occasionally visit Fuzzy's to eat, people watch, and laugh at the antics of the local college students. This location is in Campus Corner, so you can expect the place to be primarily populated with a bunch of students on break from class or drinking after said class. There is a direct correlation between the number of people eating to the service you will receive. However, whether that will mean better service or worse service depends on which students are working (and I'm sure that their staff has a high turnover rate) and if they have a bunch of friends working with them or eating there. Summer of 2012, they didn't clean their hot sauce spouts until just before classes started. Summer 2013, they seem to be have been cleaned more often. As for their food, the fajita platter was pretty unspectacular. Their margaritas are reasonably priced for what you get. Their guacamole and chips have been disappointing and other times I can't get enough. I generally get their taco platter and like all of the options that I have tried. The sauce is pretty yummy on their food as well. One interesting thing about the place: they have a "Fish Bowl" drink that you need a minimum of 4 people over the age of 21 to order. And for good reason; it is a literal plastic fish bowl that they pour a purple kool-aid like alcoholic drink that reminds me of "sigma soup" and put four neon colored straws in. 1/4th of it is plenty for a 130 lb casual drinking female. They have a patio which I only sat at once. If I remember correctly, it is blocked off with a wooden fence and smoking is allowed (but maybe not). It was some holiday, maybe St. Patrick's, so the place was packed. Maybe because this was my first and only Fuzzy's, I just see Fuzzy's as a college food joint. It's great for a casual date or to get your drink on. TL;DR - Pretty much, your service and food will vary greatly.For these reasons, I just can't give them a 4. I don't go as often now because I'm in the midst of many, many more restaurants that I need to try. read more

When i moved to OKC, everyone told me i need to try out Fuzzy's. Several months later, i finally did. Walking it, the place was packed so i was excited. If this many people are here, it must be good right? Mediocre at most. The place was pack but the line was short. Ordered our food and got it within 10 minutes. The tacos are small. It is also loaded with lettuce which overpowered all the other ingredients. If you remove most of the lettuce, it actually taste pretty good. We also ordered the nacho and added shredded chicken. The chicken was dry. The distribution of the toppings are not good at all, all at the top. You'll be left with a lot of plain chips midway through. For the 4 tacos and nacho we got, we spent around $18. For that, we could have gotten way more food from a mom and pop Mexican restaurant. read more

The one thing that turned me off was a common trait amongst a good portion of the staff... They seemed stoned out of their minds! This particular location is no different. On the man drag across from OU, students litter this place and those working here do a wonderful job keeping the place clean and making you feel at home.
