Fuzzys is great! This location is not. The food here seems to be consistent with the quality of the Bricktown location, but the drinks...not so much. Back to that later. Our food was made pretty quickly considering how busy the restaurant was, but after about 7 minutes of seeing people who had ordered after us getting their drinks, we finally decided to remind the person taking orders that we had ordered a margarita. This is where the problems began! Problem uno: We specifically ordered a margarita with Patron, and we heard the girl making the drinks ask someone "which one is Patron??" Sorry, but if you work at a Mexican food place you better know common tequila types. Problem dos: The amount of tequila in our margarita was tiiinyyyy! Like I'm talking not even a half ounce. Part of the attraction of Fuzzys margaritas is the size, but the appeal is lost if there isn't enough tequila, because that's the whole point of a margarita. Problem tres: This is the big one. The bartender was licking her fingers the whole time she was making drinks. Not in a dainty "its tea time and I got jam on my pinky" licking her fingers, but like smacking, slurping grossness. I don't care if you're not making the food, no one working in a restaurant should take the risk of getting bodily fluids anywhere near someone's food/drink. Bottom line: If you're a fan of fuzzys, great! But it's worth it to drive to the OKC location instead of this one. read more

I mostly go to Fuzzy's after 2 a.m. for the entertainment. A restaurant full of drunk stumbling college students (myself included, most of the time) running into their OMGBFFS!!! I was looking forward to going here for months and was able to go twice on my stay, my experiences: - Parking is a pain but doable - ambience / environment is cool; sports on the tv's and good music, although it's hard to hear it . . . It could be a couple notches louder - food is delicious, I tried nachos, breakfast taco, quesadilla, 2 different drinks - service is the only area left with a little to be desired but they probably always have a lot of new employees with the collage rotation. I ordered one drink by itself and it took 4 people 2 make it, they managed 2 brake a glass and get my order wrong then tell me that I ordered wrong . . . I've heard I'm not the only 1 that has had issues from the person I ordered from though. Great place otherwise. read more

Being from South Texas, and formerly living on the coast in Southern California, I'm a taco nut- and taco snob. I'm a fan of huge flavor with fresh ingredients. Fuzzy's filfilled my craving more than other places in town, but they do have a way to go. I ordered the grilled fish tacos with the borracho beans. Friends ordered the fajitas, pork tacos, and queso. Grilled fish was tasty and fresh, the sauce was pretty good as well, and fresh cilantro is always nice. I wish they would splurge on nicer lettuce- they use iceberg- but over all I thought they were tasty. The borracho beans were extremely salty- and weren't hot enough- temperature wise. Not bad for the only borracho beans in town. I was told that the pork tacos were delicious- but the portion on the fajitas were a bit weak. For the price, $7, I think they were okay. The queso blanco was delicious and some of the best Texas-style queso in town. I would go back for this alone. Some of the staff seemed like they were stoned- but it kind of fits the bill at a baja style taco shop. I think the booths could use a cushion. Wood benches are kinda lame- and uncomfortable. Overall, I would go back for the fish tacos and queso. I saw some guacamole at another table... and well... I would definitely not try it. Unless you like frozen guac. read more

Since the son has been playing his league games at the Norman soccer fields, it was a chance to try something a little further south then we usually travel. Walking into Fuzzy's was a bit of a hit to the senses; the paint was bright, and the aromas were intriguing. The place was empty, but what do you expect from a lazy Saturday morning in a college town? After deciphering the menu, we went with the two taco plate and some chips, queso, and some fire-roasted salsa. The seasoning on the chips was amazing, and I especially liked the salsa. We ordered a combination of the chicken, spicy pork, and beef tacos with sides of black beans and cilantro-lime rice. The spicy pork easily won the plate-off and was a perfect match for the sides. As a side note, the sauce at the table gave the tacos and sides a little extra zip. In the end, I really liked the place and hope more people give it a try and not just as a late night stop to recover. read more

I LOVE Fuzzy's. Great prices on draft 6 point beer, tacos come with an awesome garlic sauce, and their queso is both cheap and delicious. The borracho beans compliment their enchiladas nicely. The only real downside is the presence or frat boys and sororistitutes after about 9 pm. If looking for one step down from Tarahumaras, this is the place to go. The only thing if looking for a burrito, probably best to hit up either Chipotle or Free Bird, both of which are within walking distance. read more

My family loves Mexican Food and we have our favorites for special things. If we want Fajitas or Tortilla Soup, we go to Ted's Cafe Escondido. If we want Flautas or something funky and fresh, we go to Big Truck Tacos. If we want a delicious burrito or the Amazing Spicy Ground Beef Nachos, we go to Fuzzy's. Their nachos are delicious and there is enough to feed two people! I have never had a bad experience with their nachos at any of their locations. I prefer to go to Norman because we are more likely to get our two children to go with us, since they both attend the University of Oklahoma. That way we win all around, we get to see our two wonderful children and get to enjoy some delicious food! read more

I work near campus so I'm at Fuzzys at least 2-3 times per week. I don't know how they train their staff, but they are absolutely on it. Mistakes are very rare and everyone is super helpful. I order through the app a lot and my food is always ready when I arrive. Chips and queso are a must have if you've never eaten here. And I recommend the soft tacos - shredded chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp are good options. I'd avoid the fajita chicken here and the enchiladas too. Fuzzys is relatively new to Norman and I think it's a wonderful addition! It's a quirky sit down/fast food type restauant and bar. It's very affordable, quick, and great for sitting down with friends. It's my favorite place in to enjoy a margarita near campus with friends. They are delicious and run about $5+. I also think the enchilada plates are top notch! I was plesantly surprised by how good their dinner plates are given the cheap price and their primary focus on drinks and individual tacos. Fuzzy's is a great place for fast food on Campus Corner. Their drinks are pretty good too...though they could be a bit stronger. The chips with queso is a solid choice. One of my favorite entrees is the taco salad with fajita beef or chicken (both are incredible). First of all, the salad is huge! Secondly, the salad is topped with fresh cilantro, feta, and tortilla chips-- among other things. But the best part is probably the avocado ranch that comes on the side. It's delicious. The taco plate is another solid choice. All of the tacos are great-- I have yet to try one I didn't like. I'd recommend fuzzy's to anyone looking for a decent taco shop in the area. read more

The ultimate question: Fuzzy's vs. Torchy's. Torchy's is alright - they have more unique ingredients but are also more expensive. At Fuzzy's you can get a taco for like $2-3! Pretty basic menu, but tacos come with a sauce and feta cheese which is amazing, and they serve breakfast all day! Chips are also awesome, they have a seasoning on them that is bomb! We are frequent customers at Fuzzy's Norman, we love it. We order to-go at least once a week. My last two orders have been wrong. I am so disappointed with my last two Fuzzy's experiences. We always order taco plates. This time we ordered three. Our sides are always rice and beans. This time, we were given potatoes (don't even know what they are called because I have never ordered them) on two of the plates. The one plate that had both sides correct, had both tacos with the wrong meat. I understand that restaurants get busy and we all make mistakes. But this time I don't see how every single order had something wrong and it was clear on the receipt. The potatoes were not fresh, It's like the cooks chose not to read the receipt correctly and throw in whatever they had on the plates. Maybe there should be a better system for the cashiers or other staff to double check orders. I don't want to stop coming here. I have always loved the food and service. But this is the second time I have made it home with the wrong order in less than one month. Makes me wonder how many other people are going home wth the wrong orders.... One more thing, my tacos had very little meat on them this time too. They were mostly lettuce. So disappointing :( read more

I love Fuzzy's chips and queso, and you can order a whole bag of chips with queso, salsa, or guacamole. Their chips have a delicious seasoning on them which makes them very addictive. Not good for everyday, but definitely the best chips and queso that I constantly crave. Highly recommend! Not sure what they're doing for COVID-19 but I gotta go visit them again soon. In the first year, the food rocked. Since, they have started to go downhill. I talked with a long-timer at Fuzzy's Taco, in Norman. I warned her that the menu was getting bigger. She wanted to know what's the problem? I said that as menus get bigger, the quality of the food overall goes down because the cooks simply cannot keep up. Now, I have a sandwhich... from Fuzzy's.... SANDWICH? THey are NOT a sandwich shop... they are a taco "stand"... and as expected... the sandwich is pretty bad... So, take it as a lesson... do what you do best and bait your hook for the fish... when I went to fuzzy's in the past, they had the best taco in town... not anymore... back to the mexican taco trucks in town. read more
