Well, that was strike three! YOU ARE OUT! Fuzzy advertised a Hatch Green Chile pork taco. I love Hatch Green Chilies, so I had to go, despite two disappointing visits to the Fuzzy outlet here in Sanger. The only redeeming feature of this visit was the restroom, which was clean. The grill person seemed determined to only do one order at a time. A remedial course at Jack in the Box or Waffle House might be in order. Orders were called, but not mine. It turned out that my to-go order had been handed off to the person on the cash register who never called me. Once I was thoroughly aggravated I asked the cash register if my order was at the cash register - I didn't want to yell at the kitchen staff for no reason. Oh, yeah, how about that? My order was at the cash register. I took the order out to our car and my wife and I settled in to enjoy our tacos. From the tenor of the rest of this review, you would be correct in assuming that didn't happen. The tacos were pretty well cooled off because they'd been standing a while. The corn tortillas were stale. They had a rubbery texture and were as flavorful as, well, the rest of the taco. There was a mild hint of Hatch Green Chili in one of the tacos, but not the other. The rest of the ingredients were a jumbled up tasteless mass. I never found anything that really resembled pork. Remember the "pork" mentioned above? The grill person evidently didn't. My wife asked for two Baja Mahi Mahi Taco. Still rubbery stale tortillas. Still tasteless glop, only this time with no discernible mahi mahi. The ladies across the street making tacos at Mr. Taco also Known As Taco El Palmar would rather be shot than serve something so bloody awful. They are taco artists, and they will get my lunch money from now on! Are all Fuzzy Taco's this wretched? I really don't want to find out. Used to love eating Fuzzy's. Last 4 times at 3 different locations it's been bad. I ate here yesterday and had a combo plate and the green sauce on the chicken enchilada was inedible. Unless you're drinking like a fish, returning these glasses back to the counter empty and looking for refills...your order is definitely NOT priority. A guy just returned four - two in each hand - and the guy with him returned another two. They are schmoozing it up with the chef, the only chef, and you'd think these two have a key to the city. The place isn't busy but it takes 20 minutes to get our food. We travel between Waco and Oklahoma City quite often and this is the 2nd time in a month we've stopped here for a late dinner. The first time, they were out of everything and it took about 30 minutes that night to get our food. They were quick to offer up an explanation that someone no showed their shift and they've been swamped all day. The restaurant was a mess, trass cans overflowing, etc. Tonight, it's not much different. They are out of tea until the truck gets here tomorrow. Should restaurants really be running out of tea?? Or do they not want to make it fresh close to closing time? We thought closing time was 10pm (per Yelp) but they keep turning away people walking in the door. In addition, as mentioned in other reviews, they forgot our chips and queso all together. All in all, avoid this location. I've been to others and really enjoy the food and vibe. This place sucks! This is a location I have stopped at numerous times traveling through north Texas and frequently enjoy Fuzzys all over the country. Yesterday's visit has to be the worst experience I can remember. Stopped at about 5pm and there is only one other family of three seated. That should have been red flag one. Furthermore, with such few customers, I would expect a two person order to be prepared within 20 minutes. Have to wonder what the two employees were doing with their time. I can affirm they were not cleaning the lobby or keeping silverware and other self serve items stocked. No less than five tables I saw were filthy and covered with food crumbs. Again, this might be expected if busy. When our order was finally ready, I had to request utensils from the cook because the guy that took my order was nowhere to be found for help. At this point, I am ready to eat and get back on the road. My wife and I both ordered options we have enjoyed before. It was a complete waste of money because the food looked and tasted sloppily put together and after such a long wait, this was terribly disappointing. We might as well have stopped at any value fake Mexican food joint and paid a third of the price. Horrific service, filthy lobby, and less than mediocre food. If this was my first Fuzzys experience, it would be my last. Will not return to this location without a complete overhaul. read more

This is by far the worst Fuzzy's in their chain!! Went there on a Sunday afternoon and placed a simple order - beef quesadillas, grilled shrimp tacos on soft corn tortilla. After waiting 35 minutes for the order, I got my order...the quesadillas were wrong, I ordered ground beef but got shredded beef instead. The bottom of the quesadilla was soggy and inedible. The shrimp tacos were alright but they were on soft flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. At least these were edible. I didn't complain because I was short on time, I really couldn't afford to wait another 35 minutes for them to make another quesadilla. In summary, if you're on your way north on I 35 and get a hankering for some food, DON'T stop at Fuzzy's. There's a Taco Bell on the other side of the highway. read more

We should have took one look and turned around to walk out. But we were really hungry and didn't want Taco Bell. The guy at the register stopped us mid-order to take a phone order. It took them 25 minutes to have our food ready, and our enchiladas sat on the counter for 15 minutes, so they were stone cold when the rest of our food came up. I told them the enchiladas were cold, so they stuck them in the microwave. Should have made new, hot ones. They had two of our orders completely wrong out of four. So I had to wait even longer for them to serve what we ordered. Every table in the place was dirty - even the ones they had just wiped. Our table had a nice puddle of liquid under it. There were ketchup packets dropped in with the lemon wedges for tea and tea filled the silverware trays. They were out of shrimp and fish. "We're always really busy on Sunday nights," said the cashier. OK. If you're always busy on Sunday nights, why not have extra staff on hand to handle the load? Why not order extra food so you can meet demand? It's clear that this Fuzzy's location does NOT have it together. I let them know about this experience via their website two days ago. No reply yet. This location is always consistent in their quality and service. The shredded beef tacos are great, as well as the veggie salads, I haven't had anything I didn't like here. I am a bit disappointed that they did away with their weekly specials. We really enjoyed going on taco Tuesdays for some breakfast tacos and Beer. Update: went in for dinner on Thursday, waited 20 min for four breakfast tacos, the eggs were blackened, the potatoes were hard and undercooked. One taco didn't even have any egg on it. This location was great once upon a time. Service has gone downhill greatly and the cooks are slow as molasses. We watched them while they were cooking and they looked at thoroughly confused the whole time. Everyone behind us got their order before us even though ours wasn't a big order. We have had fuzzy's multiple times at other locations and it's great! The food at the other locations is delicious, but this fuzzy's was so dirty, I still can't believe I actually ate any of the food that I ordered. First, the floors were filthy. Next, there was not a single table clean in the establishment but yet there was at least open seating for 20 people. It was a little busy, but not very. Our food wasn't as slow as some of the other reviews I have read, but in the 30 minutes we were there not a single employee cleaned a table. I was mortified by the lack of responsibility and pride in their own establishment. I will not eat here at this location again and I suggest you steer clear of this place as well. Nothing is clean, the kitchen is always missing like ten menu items, the service is slower than molasses, the food is not at all well-prepared, and honestly there isn't much good to say about it except we surprisingly didn't get sick after we ate. My wife and I have driven by so many times. We have been wanting to stop and eat here in Sanger. We gave it a shot. It's Fuzzy's, right?! No. Not at all. The food took 45 minutes to get to us. We had to beg for chips and queso - very stale chips! Food was cold and tortillas were straight out of the bag and cold. Food sucks. This not Mexican/TexMex nor food! Don't do it! How is still ooen?? Very different from the Fuzzys I am accustomed to in Oklahoma City. This place had bad guac. Plain and simple. How can someone mess up guac? I don't know, but their guac tasted horrible. Pretty sure the avocados used were old and the onion and tomatoes were not cut to small sizes. I got two tacos. The fish in the fish tacos was not cooked properly and didn't taste good. Urg. Everything was pretty bad. I post this so hopefully a manager can step in and make sure their kitchen is making the food properly. read more

I have been to this fuzzys before, but I took my wife there at 5:30pm after work. Its a family restaurant, but they had at least 5 big screen tvs with cage boxing playing on all of them. I asked the waitress to change the channel, and she changed the channel on one tv. I was appalled that a family restaurant would show such violence during supper time. read more

This is by far the worst location of any Fuzzy's I have tried. (Please read whole review). They get our order wrong almost every single time. But mostly- they are SO inconsistent. You never know what you're going to get. Maybe a good quesadilla with lots of cheese and filling. The next night that same order is two tortillas with a tiny bit of anything else. It comes across as being very stingy and cheap. Basically the same complaint others described such as warming up cold/old items in the microwave instead of remaking fresh items. We get most of our orders to-go and each time the dish is prepared differently. Sometimes things are garnished with cheese, then it's not. When they do serve soup it basically all broth because I guess they are too lazy and cheap to stir the pot before dipping the soup out. Common sense could change most of their problems but I have yet to come across an employee OR manager that seems to even have any common sense or take pride in their job or this company. read more
