Fysio is the absolute best. The level of care, expertise and healing I get here is unlike any other physical therapy place I've been to (and unfortunately for me, I've been to quite a few). Noe has issues. Bart is good. Apparently, I was doing an exercise wrong so Noe came over to me, dug into my shoulder/neck area with her thumb. It was so painful, I immediately started tearing and even let out a noise so loud other patients looked at me. What would possess her to do that and make the pain worse? I literally went there for relief. I told my physiatrist about what happened and he said I wasn't the only one to ask for another referral after going there. He reminded me that he gave me his three best referrals, but I asked for someplace closer to home so he sent me to fysio. He's right, don't pick a physical therapist based on location. Take the doc's top 3 referrals. My physiatrist ended up sending me to Moon Therapy and Julie completely helped me without any attitude, no additional/unnecessary pain, and I really felt as though she cared to help me. Would never recommend Fysio. read more

I've been going here on and off for a couple of years now, nursing my torn rotator cuff and bulging disc. I love the friendly and laid back atmosphere. I feel the staff has taken the time to learn our names and get to know us. A typical pt session is about an hour long, starting with a massage that's really painful and ending with some exercises. The further along you are in your healing process, the more intense the exercises you are assigned. I've been going to Katie and Taryn and both of them are awesome. Just don't ask Katie to tie your hair in a ponytail (long story - just know she's not very good at it ) I'm have a lot more pt to do and I wish I could keep going here, alas- I'll be moving out of state soon. During CoVID my daughter was not allowed to continue to go to gym due to restrictions age vaccination status. We were told by gym at last visit to hold our prepaid apts because per restrictions we were unable to come. We had 3 visits paid for and hope to sign on to continue PT however when we called couple months later after elligible for vax, masks and restrictions lifted they would not give us our already Paid PT. They did not contact us via email or telephone to say we would lose our visits or expire especially when it was NOT our choice to stop coming. Even after stating we would sign up for more visits they wouldn't give us or add on our already paid visit:( I will not refer ppl here nor return bad business retention and practice ....it's a big fat No for me. People of all backgrounds are patients, everyone from the elite high school athlete to their grandparents and everyone in between. I have been through 5 surgeries (including 3 for the same type of shoulder injury), and this most recent recovery has been the fastest of my life by a full 2 months. I was a college baseball pitcher, and I doubted physical therapy, outside of my college's physical training staff, before coming here. However, Fysiotherapie has completely changed my mind. Let me start off by saying that I have frequented Fysiotherapie Hawaii numerous times over the past few years for various aches and pains, most recently with my back. I've spent a lot of time in their clinic and worked with almost all of their therapists (each has a different "style" of treatment), but I have had no complaints after seeing any of them. Their clinic is very much like a small family. Lauren (she's the master of scheduling and multi-tasking) was always very helpful and accommodating in working with my busy work schedule. She made sure my appointments were set after each appointment and always made it a point to say a quick "see you next time". Bart, Noe, Taryn, and Katie are all great! I've been fortunate enough to work with them all and get feedback from each of them through each of my injuries. They all really take the time to make sure you're feeling 100%. In fact, I'm about a year out from my back injury and I still do the back exercises Taryn gave me to this day. I've referred multiple coworkers to them for regular injuries and workers comp injuries and they've all said the same thing. They're all repeat patients at Fysio too. In reference to Sara P.'s review ahead of mine, I do want to mention that I'm 100% sure there's an expiration date on the program visits she signed her daughter up for (I'll attach a picture later). Yes, you pay upfront or they allow you to pay per visit. If you pay upfront, it's a use or lose system (I like that because it holds you accountable for your workouts). You sign a registration form that says "use or lose after two months of start date". I know this because I signed the same form for my son and we frequented Fysio through the pandemic. We never once were told that we were not allowed to return due to the pandemic. Even when my son was in between becoming vaccinated, they still worked with us to accommodate our needs. I always made it a point to call and make sure they were open and what their updates (if any) were. Lauren and other staff who answer the phone were always helpful with that. I think it's safe to say that if you read what you sign, there should be no problems. In conclusion to the novel of a review I wrote, Fysio is great! Even working through the pandemic, they surpassed my expectations by far. In my time there, I've seen all kinds of people in there - yes there's professional athletes, collegiate athletes, high school athletes, but there's also 90+ year old grandmas and papas they're working with. They treat them all and all with the same kind of compassion. I will most definitely be back and will continue to refer my coworkers, friends, and family to them. read more

I came here shortly after they first opened for a shoulder injury and both Bart and Noe were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They definitely are at the top as far as competence and they were both also a lot of fun to work with. My son is a professional surfer and hurt his ankle. The doctor he was seeing recommended us to call Bart at Fysio. Since then, all my children who are professional athletes go and see the team at Fysio and love them all! The facility is amazing. It is spacious, clean, and inviting. I believe all the therapist are athletes themselves, so I feel like they understand the need to cater to each injury/person/sport on a personal level. Everyone on the team works together to help each client with professionalism, but it also feels like a family. This place is totally hip......the decor, instructors, pounding music.......just being in this environment makes me feel younger.....ok, my daughter comes here for physical therapy after shoulder surgery....going on the 4th month 2x a week. Her ortho surgeon had a small list of recommended PT providers and Fysio was on the list. After using my vast network of resources, Fysio was always coming up as recommended. Compared to my experiences with PT providers.....old decor, very older than me PTs, old equipment, xeroxed exercise educational sheets from the 70s, more one on one versus many patients at one time with many assistants ......definitely different. Being an old hip guy like me, I'd prefer this environment to rehab. More progressive therapy/exercises....friendly and accommodating staff.....little early or late....no stresses.....flexible.....a lot of cheap (not free but under $1) parking. Would highly recommend! Also the clientele is predominantly younger adult and under patients.....athletic people.......but I've seen older than and in athletic people like me patients...once in a while! read more

I arrived to Fysiotherapie a little ways after having a femur osteotomy surgery. During my first appointment they broke the rest of my femur bone and I went back to my doctor and he said yes they had pushed you leg to far and that I may have to go into surgery again to have another steak plate put in the other side. I had to take X-rays twice a week to check to see if the bone moved. Luckily it didn't move and I did not need further surgery. I notified them of what happen. Not only did I not get a apology or even help to pay the doctor bills or X-rays, they billed me for the appointment and told me I had to pay the bill. I found out later they had no experience with a person that has had a femur osteotomy surgery. What is up with that crap and why was that not told up front. I had to have my leg drained because of there physical therapy. I am to the point now of seeking legal representation. read more

Refer often to Yelp reviews, have never written one before but, Fysiotherapie definitely deserves this one. Bart is phenomenal. After breaking my shoulder, my doctor said my post PT range of movement would be severely limited - probably no more than 90 degrees. After 3 months 2X per week I have regained almost twice that in range of motion. All the staff are very supportive and upbeat - Noe, David Dean etc.. As a fitness professional and masters athlete, I needed help recovering from a shoulder injury before my next competition. The injury was progressively getting worse over the course of four months and all of the rehab I had tried only created minimal improvements. A friend (who happened to be a sports medicine doctor) referred me Bart and the team at Fysiotherapie. Within the first two visits I experienced a significant decrease in pain and increase in range of motion. By the third week I started noticing a gradual increase in my strength. They worked with my competition preparation schedule and by the day of the competition my shoulder felt 100%. I was able not only to meet but to exceed my competition goals. The staff is courteous and friendly and the customer service is outstanding. The facility has a modern feel, is very clean and extremely comfortable to work in.
