I then sat for another 5 mins in the lobby waiting for the masseuse to come out. The front desk person rushed in trying to find my masseuse, who then came out and looked at me confused. Then.... HE REACHED INTO MY PURSE?? and tried to grab an envelope I had just gotten from a bank. I was alarmed and shocked and said "this is mine." The front desk girl saw all of this happening just in time as she came out and said "Dennis!" I was, at this point, confused and uncomfortable but didn't want to forego the deposit I had paid for my massage already. So, I went along with it and followed Dennis (masseuse) in. All in all, I got a 45-min massage and had a man I had never met try to reach into my purse. The massage was OK. I came out and asked the front desk girl why my masseuse had reached into my personal purse and she remarked "yea that was crazy, I can't believe I saw that too. I'll talk to him and management." While there weren't privacy curtains, the layout provided enough space to not feel like we were packed in like sardines - something most other foot massage places do. I especially appreciated that the staff didn't chat during the session and having a dedicated room with a door really helped minimize outside noise. Heidi did a fantastic job and I actually fell asleep during my session. The body massage was excellent. Heidi had the proper cadence and flow for each stroke, which was a stark contrast to my previous visit where the therapist simply rubbed oil up and down like they were washing my back rather than massaging the muscle. She also checked in periodically to ensure the pressure was right, showing she was truly in tune with her craft. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was due to a few minor points: 1) I wasn't asked about my trouble spots beforehand.
