The facility smells like cooking grease from the neighboring restaurants in the shopping center, which is hard to ignore. It's also quite noisy. Between staff chatting, another client grunting during their massage, and random knocking sounds, there was a constant level of audible disturbance that made it difficult to fully relax. The masseuse seemed irritable and spoke no English, which made communication somewhat cumbersome when she needed me to change positions. What bothered me most was the billing. I specifically booked a 60-minute massage, but afterward realized the session had lasted 90 minutes. I was charged the 90-minute rate. While I paid it, I believe the responsibility to track time and honor the client's original booking falls on the establishment. Clients shouldn't have to monitor the clock during their own massage. He worked out all my knots with the perfect blend of Swedish and Thai techniques. Truly one of the best massages I've had in a while. I'd give him five stars alone without hesitation. Now, the cons (and why this review isn't a full five stars): Unfortunately, the overall environment took away from the experience. I was in the room next to a man who snored loudly--and I'm talking the first half of my massage. It was hard to fully relax with that going on. On top of that, the staff in the hallway or other room were laughing and talking loudly. I get it--people have fun at work--but in a spa setting, quiet matters. Once the snoring guest left and things calmed down, the vibe improved. One last thing--the towels had a bit of an off smell. Renewed Appreciation post for Jane and Sarah. Have herniated disks in my lumbar spine and chronic pain in mid back. I had 2-3 sessions with Jane over less than 2 months and I was much better afterwards. She was extremely skilled at therapeutic massage and helped me a great deal. She gave me helpful pointers on how to stretch at home. The sessions were a god-send; I was terrified before seeing her that I would have back pain for the rest of my life and I was frustrated that physical therapy wasn't helping. She's very communicative and very thoughtful. She always does a really good job kneading/breaking knots on my back, and is very receptive to my feedback/reactions. The girls and I were in dire need of a massage and since indoor massages are slowly making its way back into mainstream business market -- we tracked this spot down and booked Thai massages for three. As soon as we walked in, the staff escorted us into our respective areas and asked us to undress to prepare for our massages. Lighting was dim. Music was low and calming. All the doors were open so lots of air and it felt cool throughout most of the massage. My gal did a decent job. It wasn't the best -- or the worst massage either. I'm just happy we were able to get one. As of August 31, 2020 - it's $105 per person for 90 minutes. Includes lots and lots of stretching and work on pressure points. I felt more relaxed when I left so I'm glad we were able to squeeze in the experience into our busy Sunday. These ladies also offer massages outdoors if that's what you're more comfortable with. Okay, I generally don't have the time to write reviews but if a place is outstanding or if it's a complete disaster, I feel the need to share my views as a responsible member of the community. In this case it's unfortunately the latter. I was in a lot of pain from a sore muscle in my shoulder and booked an appointment here since my masseuse is out of town. This was the biggest mistake ever. They check the box for everything a massage place should NOT do. 1. They started the massage without asking where my problem areas were. 2. When I started to tell them about it, the owner came from behind and knocked on my head (as if to tell me that I should not be speaking) and telling me that everything will be covered!!! 3. The inexperienced therapist Usa did the whole body thing as a robot and never touched the shoulder area where I actually had the problem. 4. I had undressed for the treatment with just my undergarments on and one of the therapists (actually the owner!!) kept coming in and out of my room leaving the curtain behind wide open for other guests to see...I felt so unsafe and violated. 5.To make things worse, the three therapists there, including the owner kept speaking to each other in Thai and laughing while giving treatment to customers! Like hello....do you have any courtesy or business/social sense? Massage is a whole body experience and if you don't know that being in this business then really, it's shame on you. I really wish I hadn't gone there. Not only was it a waste of money and time but really a very negative experience. Worst part- my shoulder and neck feels worse and I can't move my neck today. We went for the 90 min thai combo at $110 pp. Not bad at all! I had Mina and she was so good at getting rid of the knots on my shoulders. I really appreciate her persistence in getting the knots smaller & smaller with every stroke.. My bf got My (Mai?) and he thought she was amazing at unknotting his back. The only reason why my experience was a bit jaded, was because a customer came in during the first 30 mins of my massage and was talking super loudly with an employee, simply laughing and chatting it up. We were placed in the first 2 rooms, so I basically heard everything due to the thin walls. minus 1 star for a couple unexpected things: - i booked online and was assigned one person but ended up having another. i overheard the original person's name mentioned so she was there, just working on someone else. - the massage i got didn't match the description on the website. it was still good! just not what i was expecting AT ALL. either the description needs to be updated or staff communication needs work. long, overly detailed review below, mostly intended for first timers like me who didn't know what to expect. my mom suggested this place and it has great reviews so i went online and booked the destress (back and shoulders) massage. thiparpa is located in a small plaza with ample free parking. upon entering, you leave your shoes by the benches and switch to indoor slippers if able but socks are ok too. the room i was in had a step to go up and curtain doors and walls. i didn't hear much conversation, just calming music and a relaxed patron snoring lol there's a plush floor mat and pillows to support your head and feet. i was given loose pants to change into and removed the rest of my clothes and placed it in the provided bin. remove jewelry and put your hair up before lying down! while face down, my feet, legs, butt, back, shoulders, arms, and neck were worked on, some moments through a sheet and some directly on my skin with oil. before turning over, the massage therapist wiped off the oil with a hot towel. while face up, he did my shoulders, arms, neck, and head and a bunch of stretching and twists on both sides too, like holding onto each others' wrists and pulling or stretching my arm one way and lower body another. it ended with me sitting criss-cross and more stretching. he did a great job of maintaining my modesty, which i appreciated since when i sat up there was a crack in the curtain door. the pressure was intense but welcome and he did check in with me to make sure i was ok. i am still unsure if i really got the destress massage since it appears that i received aspects of a traditional thai massage. i'd suggest the website descriptions get updated to give a proper preview of what the massages entail if this was intended. or if i received the wrong massage, then i hope communication between staff improves. despite the unexpected, it was great and intense and a step to getting my body to be less tense. read more

Moreover, this massage is good for promoting blood circulation and lymphatic flow, resulting in improved muscle tone, skin texture, leaving you in total relaxation. You'll be lying face down half naked ;p as your masseuse perform the service. The pressure massage can be adjusted accordingly. My masseuse was very professional, respectful and skilled. Ok, I've never gotten a massage before besides the ones at home where you're pressing your significant other to rub your shoulders because work was tough and your bones need a little attention... A couples' massage has always been on my list of to-do's, but I never got around to doing so because... well, work, but this morning my boyfriend called to make an appointment for later in the day and we were set to go. They're located in a plaza so parking isn't an issue. No payment required. The front is pretty small. Once we were inside, we were greeted after a few minutes and given slippers to change into before being led to the back. In terms of privacy from other guests, each station is behind curtains and for couples... they tie the curtain between the stations so you're able to see each other. Once inside, we were given some "pants" to change into while de-robbing everything else. Few minutes later, it was go time. Our masseuses were Anna and Meena and both did one hell of a job. We opted for the 60 min Thai combo massage and yeah, it totally kicked my expectations. There were parts where it really hurt and my masseuse noticed, asked if I was okay, and eased up on the amount of force when necessary. Overall, 60 mins went by quick. Overall it's a pretty good massage! I went in for a prenatal massage and it felt like I was in Thailand. The women who gave me the massage had good overall pressure. However I'm not sure if she was using prenatal techniques, which concern me a bit. At one point she was getting too close to my stomach and I just moved her hand so she knows she's getting to close. When she did my neck and shoulders... it was a really deep massage which I like. I left the place relaxed and my kinks from pregnancy were looser. We scheduled two 90 minute massages for Saturday morning. I'll admit that we had a bit of a rough start with our appointments. I think we were the first ones of the day and the therapists were still setting up and running around. There are no doors to the rooms, only curtains so we could hear them talking and moving about. My boyfriend asked if they could keep it down because he couldn't relax with all the noise and they were very apologetic and much more quiet afterwards. Also, 15 minutes after our scheduled start time no one had started working on him. They sent in two new therapists (Alex and May I think) from the ones who had greeted us. We both enjoyed our massages and because the appointment started late they compensated for this. Both therapists were strong and methodical tackling the entire body. My only constructive criticism would be for the staff to ask clients to speak quietly once entering the massage area and explain other appointments are ongoing because we could hear every new arrival and their ensuing conversations.
