It was a blessing to take her and our second GSP, Harper to their place. My dogs LOVED LDR. They were able to run, hike, and play in the pond. I was fortunate to have such a great place to take my dogs. Piper lived to be 16 and up until the last weeks of her life, she still went to Lucky dog. Harper passed away sooner (GSP rescue) but absolutely adored Jeff and Susan. Jeff and Susan, the owners are fantastic people and always treated my dogs with the best care and attention. They even let us lay Piper and Harper to have their final resting place at Lucky Dog. I highly recommend this place. They not only have great daycare but the cage free boarding is a refreshing change from having to board dogs at a facility where they only get to stretch their legs a few times a day. One of my girls snuck out the front door as soon as she opened it one morning and she ran away. Nikki didn't skip a beat to go after her and make sure she was safe at home before going on with her day. I felt totally at peace with Nikki watching my dogs for the week while I was out of town. She doesn't always collect pertinent info from the client in case of an accident. She also doesn't take care of her employees. In fact, she can keep any employee due to compensation where she changes the rate of pay after the job is complete and also doesn't pay regularly. I haven't been paid past May 15th, 2023 (today is my last day). But I have kept working nonstop. Also, there is no mileage or extra compensation for traveling from home to home. She leaves clients' keys under mats because of being so short staffed and no longer living locally. She may take care of pets, but her priority is not long in Frisco/Prosper areas as she can't keep an employee and doesn't want to commute.
