Sadly, I would advise anyone to avoid this business. Recently I boarded my dog there for a week. At some point during that time she was injured (her hips and tail). When I picked her up, the staff said there had been no issues or incidents. However, I noticed that she could not sit on her haunches, move her tail, and her appetite was diminished. Upon visiting the Vet I found that she had lost 5 lbs, (in one week). I reached out to the business via email and a phone message - but never heard back from the owners at all. I don't know if the owner never received my messages, if they simply do not care, or if they do not have good oversight of their staff. But... the extreme weight loss, and my dog being in obvious pain should have been noted and communicated to me. Clearly, this business does not have surveillance cameras in the dog run area - and they do not keep a feeding log of the pets they are boarding. A full month later, and my dog is still not the happy, playful dog I left under their care. Definitely would not recommend this place under any circumstances. read more

This place is infected with a vaccine resistant strain of kennel cough. They knowingly had cases of kennel cough and didn't inform us until pick up ( a week later) and I only found out because of a sign on the door when I asked about it she told me it started over Fourth of July weekend. I called to inform them that my dog has kennel cough and that I spent a lot of money for them to keep my dogs safe and they dropped the ball. Very disappointing we'll have to pass next time and find somewhere that actually cares about our furry friends. read more

This review is for informational purposes only. I dealt with Julia via email and ultimately decided to go elsewhere. Therefore, I cannot comment on the quality of the services. Though I will share my experience and impressions, my rating is only on the services, prices and communication, leaving room to assume a adequate to satisfactory boarding experience. I was extremely pleased to see that the prices are so reasonable! They have several sizes of kennels, but they start at $24 per day for one dog in a small. Additional dogs in the same kennel are $12. This is a distinction as many boarding facilities will charge higher for the first dog and don't discount for the additional dogs. Every 10th day of boarding is free. They will administer medication starting at $2 per day, insulin is $4. They also board cats starting at $14 per day and $8 for additional. There are grooming services as well including teeth brushing and nail clipping. For dogs, they let them out 4 times a day. This would be the same amount of time if you went with doggy day care, which is $10 per day. What is important to me is that they do not mix your animals with others when letting them out for play time. This is always a concern of mine as you don't want to risk your dogs safety with an aggressive stranger dog. Plus, one of my dogs has a lot of anxiety. They provide bedding and treats, but you must provide the food. They do not allow bags, you must bring it in a container. I was unable to get an answer on the type of required container though, so I would recommend you call first. They have very specific drop off/pick up windows. Monday through Saturday is 8am to 11am. Monday through Friday there is an additional window of 5-7pm and Sundays are only 5-7pm. Some places don't let you do anything on Sunday, incurring an additional day of fees, so at least there is an opportunity for drop off or pick up. However, these are super specific and their website states there is a $20 late fee if you don't drop off/pick up 15 minutes before the window ends. This doesn't seem too difficult for a weekend, but could be very challenging for a weekday if you are juggling work, appointments and traffic. I received this information at the beginning of July 2019. We've used the same boarding facility that we love for years, but our latest trip coincided with their vacation. Feeling stressed and pressed for time (many places book fast in the summer), I did some research and sent out some emails making inquires of six different facilities. My plan was to get more information and narrow down the best two or three options and then tour those facilities to make a decision. Julie responded right away to my first email, though only answered a few of the questions and was vague about the pricing by stating that the prices were for small dogs. We corresponded back and forth several times within an hour where I would answer her questions and repeat the ones that she had overlooked. I felt she was being a bit cagey about the prices. I understand reserving the right to charge more if there are really big dogs or maybe dogs needing more attention, but I couldn't even get a feel for what might impact the cost. This made me suspect a single visit could be open to a lot of nickel and diming. Right after she asked about the breeds of the dogs, the communication stopped. I had responded that they were mutts and described them as thoroughly as I could, including sizes and the breeds the vet suspected were involved. Three days later I sent a follow up email asking if the lack of response indicated she does not take mutts. Her response was that things were very busy at the kennel and she had other things going on. She instructed me to call and leave a message and someone else would call me after 5pm. How overwhelmed she seemed to be made me uncomfortable about my dogs being cared for, but I recognize that the facility may be great. This was a holiday week, I'm sure she was indeed busy. However, I can't help but think about my dogs if a place tends to overbook and stretch themselves too thin. There are several possibilities that could account for the odd email chain. Since several other boarding facilities in the same price range responded promptly, answering all my questions and providing additional information, I decided to go with an owner I felt more comfortable and trusting of. This location could be a good fit for you. If you are in the area and prefer to board close to home and are looking for a reasonable price, this would qualify as one of the locations you would want to tour while making a final decision. Your own gut reaction is the most important when it comes to the care of your pets. read more

I boarded my dog with them for 4 nights and it was a great experience! They were very accommodating and pleasant to speak to. My dog is anxious aggressive with other dogs, so they made sure that she was taken care of and had a space and outside play area away from the other dogs. We will use them again when we go out of town next! read more

This place was just ok. I boarded my dog here for a week. The people at the front desk always seemed confused even though I had made plans with them over the phone. The place was really immaculate. They don't seem to like dogs very much and the woman was a little rude when I asked how my puppy behaved while I was gone. She said that he was a "handful" and didn't want to go inside at night and she had to chase him. What dog wants to be locked up inside all day? I will take him somewhere that won't inconvenience the staff next time. read more

I boarded my dogs here for a week while I was out of state. Very organized and friendly, they even let me stop by to view the facility during their hours of operation without an appointment, which was great because I got to see how they operated on a day to day basis! The facility was clean and well maintained. My dogs came back happy and seemed to really like the people working there, which was really important for me. I've taken my dog here several times and it is great. My dog is not necessarily the best with other dogs and can have some anxiety aggression and at 100lbs, that can be an issue with some places. Not here. They were attentive to his needs, gave him his medicine, took him out for play on his own, etc. The cages that some reviewers have talked about consist of an indoor and outdoor run with a plastic flap to keep out the elements. They are a really good size and the outdoor portion is mainly chain link so the dogs get the fresh air but they do have concrete portions that go about half way up between each run to prevent the dogs from having any territorial issues. On top of that, the price is unbeatable. I live in Plano now so the drive is long, but definitely worth it. read more

WARNING. Do NOT leave your dogs here!! Took my two dogs there for a extended weekend. Two days after picking them up my bloodhound died. He seemed sick when I picked him up, but I didn't think to mention it to them. Just thought he was tired. They rushed us to pick them up and leave. Wish I'd read the reviews before taking them there. We took our two dogs here for about a week over the summer. We weren't allowed to view where the dogs would be sleeping, and they were taken from us as soon as we arrived and we weren't able to say goodbye at all. I was charged for a toenail clipping which wasn't done. The cages were tiny, and their "private outdoor area" was a concrete area slightly larger than the cage itself. (Although we couldn't see the cages themselves, you can see the outside of the kennels, and the dimensions are available on their website). I have a hard time imagining my dog enjoying any time "relaxing" on the small concrete cage that he may have also just relieved himself on. Ugh. I'll give it two stars since we did get the dogs back without any visible problems, but I didn't get a good feeling from the experience at all. We're trying a different place next time. read more

Don't look at the rates they publish because they don't disclose (or inform you at drop off) about extra charges. They won't allow early Sunday pick ups then automatically charge you for another full day when you are allowed to pick them up. Evidently there is no one there with the animals during the morning and afternoon on Sundays. Would not recommend. read more

i have boarded my dog at club canine twice both times for a week. my dog seemed very content when i returned to pick her up. I have also had her groomed there several times. my dog seems happy to see the staff and they do a really nice job on her cut, she is a maltese and some groomers go shave crazy with them, the groomer at club canine keeps her fluffy looking. I will definitly recommend them. read more
