Unquestionably, G & L is a 5-star business. We became aware of it through our remodeling contractor, who describes himself as "very finicky" about the sub-contractors that he uses. The first project that G & L completed for us was a huge kitchen countertop. Finding just the right piece of granite was easy in the large selection of slabs in their yard. Then we held our breath as George precisely fitted the intricate angles and cut-outs required to cover our cabinetry. Since that installation went so well, we chose G & L again for the small countertop in a bath remodel. Once again, the product and the work ethic exceeded expectations. When the time came to update another bathroom, we headed to G & L to choose another slab. This time we requested special sink treatments, and George was able to accommodate our needs. When a customer can get beautiful results in a timely manner, that's 5-star quality. Because this is the first review we've ever written for Yelp, it will be considered as "not recommended." However, it's critical to understand that we've never before been this motivated to sing the praises of a business that everyone should know about. Outstanding beautiful quartz countertops!! From our first meeting with G&L it was completely professional. Good selection of materials to choose from. When George came out to our home to measure, I was hoping for a seamless counter. Weird angles on the sink side made it an issue with my last countertop. I hated the seam for years. George said there was a possibility, he would try. I was hopeful. Install day arrived! The workers went about doing their prep, George's arrived to help with the sink countertop. Even though many people tried to steer me away from soapstone for my new countertops, Gorge and Andrea were very attentive to my questions and pursuit of a soapstone countertop. Gorge took a lot of time to make sure I understood the nature of the stone and its characteristics. The selection and pricing was competitive and beat other sellers/fabricators in this area. When the stone came in, I made a couple of trips to the shop to work with Gorge approving the stone and figuring out the layout before cutting it for installation to ensure my satisfaction with the final results. We had a wonderful experience in our dealing with G&L Countertops. As anyone who is remodeling a kitchen you know how pain staking it is and what is all entailed in decisions. The sales person was extremely helpful and when showing her a sample of the cabinets we were putting in along with a sample of the tile floor she knew exactly what color granite would look best. We looked at a few options and her first instinct was dead on. The time from ordering to the time of installation was well within a reasonable amount of time. The installers were extremely professional and the job was completed within the time frame quoted. Great company to work with! I just remodeled my kitchen, and had G&L put quartz countertops in. Jazmin was great with helping me select a style and finished edge. George was great with answering questions when he came to measure for the countertops. I wasn't able to get a digital file for them to cut the hole for the sink that I bought, but George was able to measure it instead. The installation crew was very polite and did a quality job installing them. The company did a very professional job of making sure it was done right and to my liking. These people are fantastic. I checked other places further away and they could not compare prices wise. The process was so easy for me. I went in, picked out what I wanted and they did the rest. The quote was to the penny the work was done in great time and to perfection. Not one tiny problem. I was so glad that I could use a local business. The service was better than anything I have experienced in years. They were ten minutes late, but surprise, they called to tell me they were going to be 10 minutes late. G&L made our dream kitchen perfect!! I had a great experience from planning to installation. George took the time to explain everything to me, give suggestions on sinks, edging, sealers, etc. I was allowed to pick from a number of slabs in stock and my wife was able to circle formations in the rock and have it located into the island and specific areas on the counter top. The installation was done on time and with no disruption to our construction schedule. I use George exclusively for all my Kitchen and Bath remodels. He has a great selection of product right at the shop and all tops are made right there. My customers can stop out and look at the pieces and match their flooring and cabinet colors to the product that will match the best. Their installers are very professional and the work area is as clean as when they started. I also use G&L for my tile backslashes because you can pick the material out right in his showroom. Our countertops look amazing! George helped me pick out the color and did a great job. They installed our countertops before the estimated timeline which was wonderful in a remodeling situation. His workers were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and you couldn't even tell there was work done in my home. The pricing was better than I could get anywhere else. G&L were great to work with! I had granite removed and quartz installed. The installers were absolutely wonderful! So careful with everything in my home. They had quite a job to remove and replace the countertops for me and they did outstanding work. They also took a piece of my old granite and made a countertop in my basement so I salvaged some of my granite. I love my new calacatta dolce quartz countertops! Despite the negative reviews, George is as good as it gets. I had no idea where to start when I showed up, but George and his team made sure that I left satisfied. They explained the process, and answered all my questions. I had my kitchen and downstairs bathroom done with quartz, and the whole process took about 2 weeks.
