We've had Green T servicing our garage doors for the last 5 years. They've come out to our house 4 times in those 5 years and every single service call was phenomenal. From being appraised of the technician's estimated arrival time (instead of having to wait around for ages with a 4-6 hour window like the utilities do), to their knowledge, ability to explain properly, prompt and efficient service, and just plain friendliness...I don't think you can beat Green T's garage door services. We built our house 28 years ago so things are starting to 'age'..including the garage door openers and equipment. Each time a technician has arrived, and after doing a thorough inspection, they have explained things to me...including the fact that certain things might be wrong and COULD be fixed/replaced but without any PUSHY selling using scare tactics. Usually they end the discussion with.....not REALLy necessary to replace this, or that, but we need to keep an eye on it. I've used Green T for other home services but this was my first for Garage Doors. From beginning to end and even follow up has been very impressive. I have an older home with two garage doors that are each 50yrs old. John came out, quickly assessed, and provided maintenance on both within 20 minutes. I did ask for a complete assessment of both as I am a new home owner. He was very thorough with his explanations and did not try to sell me on anything additional. He offered formal quotes and is having the office send me these for my future needs. BEST PART. - these are not contracted out workers. They work for Green T and their work is backed. A small part broke and I was unable to raise the garage door. The technician ("Chuck") came out the afternoon I called and fixed it. He came back promptly the next day to do some additional door work that I needed. Both times he was on time and gave me a 15-minute warning before he showed up. He was pleasant to talk with and knew what he was doing. We've used Green-T in the past for garage door issues, hope not to need them any time soon, but if we do, will definitley call them. they did not push for anything unnecessary and the door is better and stronger than it was before the breakage. My garage door wouldn't open, they came out quickly, determined it was the motor, explained various options and pricing to me and did a tune up on everything else; they even helped me reprogram my car with the new opener. The price was in line with other companies but they went above and beyond, and when I had an issue with a sensor they were there the same day and quickly fixed it for me. After 25 years, and a few new noises, I wanted thorough inspection of our garage door and opener. I've lubed all moving parts within the last year but I did not want any surprises over the winter.
