I tried to unclog it myself using several methods including a 15ft snake with no luck. I also paid someone from Plum-it that tried his best but kept getting interrupted by his head office. After no success, they suggested next step would be to tear up my basement's ceiling drywall to replace the entire 3" 60+ft of pipe!?!? The man answering the call listened to my problem and said someone from TJ Miller would call me in the morning. That never happened. I called them instead and was told that I would be receiving service today. A text message was sent confirming this fact but no time frame was included. I called back and cancelled fearing the same situation would occur because they were working me into their schedule. There are plenty of of other firms that will be willing to do this inspection.

The woman answering the call put me on hold to 'check the schedule' only to come back on the line to tell me that since I had 'touched' the heater yesterday, Sunday, when it was 55 degrees in my house, and now they refused to work on my heater. She claimed people write negative Yelp reviews when they work on their own equipment and then bring Kendall in to fix the same equipment. She told me I was not a trained technician and proceeded to berated me for not calling them on a Sunday. I apparently was supposed to know they had 24/7 phone service!? The fact that I opened my heater door in an effort to get it working and not freeze affected their business. I understand that companies have their policies for their reasons, and I tried explaining that I was just trying to stay warm and was intending to buy a new AC/Heater set from them in the spring. But she continued in a rude tone, chastising me for not calling them on Sunday. Needless to say, I will NEVER USE KENDALL again. I found an incredibly helpful and responsive HVAC company elsewhere. If you are looking for customer service, I suggest you keep looking.
