Depends on what's important to you…read more I go here specifically for aluminum pans and containers, as well as the stuff that makes the flames that go underneath chafing dishes. I don't even know who else sells them, I've been getting them from this store for so long. When I'm there, I may find some other things that I can use. For instance, today I went in for 2 aluminum pans, but also walked out with a container of hand sanitizer, a box with compartments to prepare daily vitamins, a phone charging wire and a package of sponges for polishing silver. Total bill: $6.53, including sales tax. When needed, it's a great place for wrapping paper & bows and all kinds of cheap party supplies. There are all kinds of things you can get that actually cost $1. Be careful with the food, it may have an expired date. Most of the items are not national brand names. I'm picky about that when it comes to toiletries, so I never get any there. But it's worth a look-see to decide whether any of the myriad of things they carry are bargains for you. If you're looking for good customer service, a very clean store or if you're in a rush, this isn't the place for you. People who require good customer service should to a retail store that gets higher prices (to pay better clerks) for whatever you might get here for $1. The people are beyond rude (I usually ask other customers when I'm trying to find something) and there is no returning anything. Make sure it is what you want before you check out. I plan for time spent online (it can be 5 or 10 actual minutes) and I get the things I know work for me, so I gave it 4 stars.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store. The female manager has consistently been rude during…read moreour visits. We have been here many times, and each time she has had a poor attitude toward customers. From what we observed, she often speaks down to people who do not speak English, which is disrespectful and unprofessional. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming to everyone, regardless of the language they speak. I hope management addresses this issue and improves the way customers are treated.

Within 5 minutes of walking into this store I was a raving fan for life…read more I needed a gift for my 6 year old nephew and came here because of the reviews. Even walking in with high expectations, I was blown away by the level of service. George, Kemesha's husband, was working the store on his own today. When I walked in and I asked for his help to select a gift, he apologized that his wife wasn't there. Then he called her. He put her on speaker phone and she guided me to an amazing gift. I could have looked at the shelf all day and not "seen" it. She wanted to give me another option too -- and I appreciated her integrity in that, but this first one was perfect! Next was gifts for my nieces and she directed me to a selection where literally everything was so perfect. And there were things there that I would buy for myself! When I mentioned I also needed a gift for another nephew, whose birthday is in a couple of weeks, she encouraged me to come back. She said that she could have recommended something in stock, but that she was getting more merchandise next week and didn't want to just sell me anything. This store isn't exactly around the corner from me; it was a detour to come here. Shopping online would be more convenient, in theory. But some things are more important than convenience. There is a level of care in how Kemesha and George run their store that cannot be replaced. Within 5 minutes Kemesha and George won me over as a raving fan client for life. This is a business run on integrity and caring, and I'm thrilled to give them my business. PS - I rarely take the time to write online reviews, so consider that for what it's worth to you.

We were on line one, that cashier closed and we were the last ones on that lane line. There was a man In front of us, by the time we got to the cashier, the man in front of us paid and left and then the cashier instead of taking us next he took a woman who was standing on the side, the woman claimed she is a co-worker and she needed to pay for her items. When we questioned it and my mom asked what this is, I have been standing so long on a long line , what is this preference. The lady who was paying stated loudly "I work here" So, my mom stated to the cashier that "it isn't fair no matter a worker or not, it isn't right I had to stand all that time and not to be next to pay for my items" I even stated that it " this isn't right for the elderly and senior citizens to wait on a long line to pay just to get to the cashier and make that person wait so they can check out a co worker who just walked up to counter." The cashier pretended not to hear us, he ignored my mom when she was questioning his actions to why he didn't take us next and took his co worker who just walked up on the side with her items instead. All he kept stating was " $21 ma'am" he did not answer to the question she asked. He just ignore what she was saying. Very Very rude. We left everything we were buying behind due to the rudeness and obnoxiousness. Just very upset due to how things went I was always a good and loyal customer. I will not be going to Dollar Tree anymore. The Dollar Tree used to be an A+++++++++ store, but it seems very sloppy now and never seems to be stocked with items that are needed. Very disappointed on how this Pelham Dollar Tree has become.

A friend of mine is opening a small artisan consignment shop, and we were able to find amazing store displays--stand shelving, a bench, and several other pieces that helped create the perfect rustic yet chic, neutral look she was going for. The staff and volunteers were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Parking is free, and I highly recommend going early during the weekday to make it easier to find a spot and less crowed. This place truly carries everything you could need for your home--sofas, bedroom and office furniture, bathroom items (from sinks to toilets), pots, home décor, light fixtures, shelving... you name it, they likely have it. They are constantly receiving new donations, so you never know what you'll find on a daily or weekly basis. Every time we thought we had found everything we needed, we decided to take one more look--and each time, we discovered even more great items. On top of that, it feels especially good knowing that your purchases support such a meaningful and worthwhile organization. If you have furniture or home items to donate, this is absolutely a place to bring them. I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in--you never know what treasures you'll find!
