The shop is pretty unassuming with a small driveway off , several garages along the back. They don't really have a waiting room as it's under construction at the moment. Look for their signage at the top of the building and tent of El Segundo Blvd a couple blocks east of Hawthorne Blvd. After making an appointment, I brought my car in for the complete underlining job on my car and it looks great. It took a full day but the upholstery, fabric and workmanship was really good. But that's not why I'm giving a 5 star review. Things did not start out on the best foot and there were some challenges from start to finish, especially towards the end of the day. BUT, somehow, G Auto Body Repair went out of their way to "make things right". Their guys gave it 100% effort and that goes along way. I am so incredibly pleased with G Auto Body's work on my Tesla model 3. I accidentally sideswiped a car on my way to work one morning and ended up with some pretty bad damage. My insurance unfortunately didn't cover it so I started my search online to find a highly rated auto shop that was within my budget. Definitely the most affordable in the area to get your car back to a pristine state! Chris was really nice and every time I called he kept me updated on our truck, there were other things wrong with the truck because of the accident but he got it fixed and continued to update me! It will take time to get your vehicle back I think ours took 2-3 weeks. but it's worth it in the end, we are definitely satisfied and will tell are friends and family about this place, we did however run into a problem with one of our tires, not because of the shop but just from the accident. I just got my car back from G Auto Body and I'm genuinely confused how my 12 year old Honda Fit suddenly looks brand new when I only needed repairs to the hood, front bumper and driver's side headlight. Turns out G Auto Body went way above and beyond the original scope of work for no extra charge. They painted the front doors (which were not damaged) and polished the undamaged passenger's side headlight so it matched the brand new driver's side headlight. The paint job was fantastic. It looked brand new with a shiny clear coat and vibrant color tone. The repair to the hood, bumper and headlight, which were all replaced, looked phenomenal as well and only took a little less than a week. Oh, yeah, let's talk about cost like most of the other reviewers here do. I used the Yelp quote feature to request quotes from several body shops in the area based on photos I uploaded. Everyone else quoted between $4000-$6500. G Auto Body quoted $1500-$2400. The actual cost ended up being $2000 (cash price)! If you do the math, that's anywhere from 50% to 70% cheaper than anyone else. For $2000 I was expecting a "halfway decent" job, which was fine since the car was 12 years old. I never expected a remarkably professional and absolutely perfect job like G delivered. And yes, many of the other body shops claimed that I likely had a lot of "internal damage" that would drive up the price. To be completely honest, the location isn't pretty. The entrance to the shop are is via a small side alley and there are no clear business signs. They also do not have an office area to conduct business and convey the appearance of a garage shop operation. But, honestly, who cares if you are saving 50-70% and receiving flawless results? G Auto Body seems to have a different business model than other body shops in the area and perhaps everywhere in the state. They are honest, professional, eager to please their customers and extremely fair with pricing. This is not a good sign for the other auto body shops in the area. They will probably have to settle for any overflow business from G when they become overbooked. read more

Went here twice for repairs on a 2023 Subaru and 2025 Toyota. Both with pretty rough dents. Most collision centers and nearby mechanics my area were asking $1000+ more compared to G Auto Body Repair. I asked another business and they said the back of the building down the alley. Another thing was I called for an update and guy was at lunch. Almanso didn't call back. Got in an accident about 3 weeks ago and whole front frame was pushed in.. was being quoted up to 4k from other places, was scared I wouldn't be able to fix my car due to how expensive it would be. G auto body repair quoted me about 800$. The job was excellent and quick, only took about a week and left my car and frame looking good. I would recommend this body shop. It's small and kid of hidden but that did not resemble their work. I absolutely liked how they fixed my bumper of my 4Runner. The communication with the owner Chris and he's team was clear and direct. I got a few estimates from different shops and all of them were telling me "they needed to do more and assure me, more stuff were broken inside" 1 of them told me they need to fix my fog light because it more likely was damaged (even though it worked!) and adjust it.......? However, Chris's and he's team saw my car, they showed me what it could be needed to fix or replace.
