Horrible experience. Stylist was absolutely HORRIBLE. Won't ever return after one more try. Owner needs to pay attention to good paying customers. If you hire a stylist with a nasty attitude. You will be very upset with style and godforbid you get the male stylist, Miza..NEVER EVER RETURN! This is your spot for being over priced and staff that doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I did not have an appointment and desperately needed a haircut so walked in and asked if anyone was available. Eva was able to take care of me and she did an absolutely beautiful job in doing so. It was like a self care mini spa day and I am so pleased with the cut she gave me. I I had my hair done by Damien, and he did a beautiful job on my highlights while delivering a wonderful experience. He kept the tea and water flowing, gave an excellent scalp massage, and was an absolute delight to talk to throughout the appointment. I have been coming to this salon for about a year now and it never disappoints!! David is my stylist; he is so sweet, patient and he gives me exactly what I want every time. The salon is very clean, always smells amazing, and is peaceful. The entire staff is very kind. I'm highly sensitive to attitude and I've never gotten any from anyone here. The hot tea is also delicious; I'm an addict. There are some reviews that mention adding on services or products which increase cost. If you are concerned with pricing, my best recommendation is to ask your stylist for the all in total before your service. If a product or service is offered to you during your service, ask if there's an additional charge for it. If you don't refuse the service or product then it's assumed that you are in agreement. I choose to believe that my stylist wants the best for my hair instead of believing he is trying to get more money out of me. I have been going to G Aveda for a few months now and have had three appointments so far. Each time David has been incredibly kind, gentle with me and has given life back to my hair. He has the sweetest disposition as do the front desk ladies. Now to the services: my first time there was for hair color. I received a beautiful head massage along with a short but lovely face massage with botanical Oils that relaxed me to my core. I enjoyed the massage chair as David worked his magic at the wash basin. The price for all of this was less than my last place I went to and with so much more pampering!! The atmosphere is so relaxing. You are served cold water and their special hot tea as well. This salon was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to give it a go. Her normal stylist is EM and her hair always looks fab. I made an appointment online for full highlights and the Soko was the stylist that was available. When I was done my hair looked good. Which is why I am giving this a three star review. What I want to warn people about is to find out what the stylist plans to do to your hair upfront and the price. I was fully prepared to pay the $170 for the highlights. However, I was also charged $75 for a trim, this in my experience usually comes with a dye job, and I probably would not complain, except $75 for a nothing special cut that my mother could have done is outright robbery. I was also informed, when I was getting my high dried that I was not only being charged for the haircut, but also a special toner treatment that I didn't ask for or want. If you have to give me an intense toner treatment, I assume you messed up my hair at some point and made it brassy. That is not on me as the customer, but on you as the senior stylist. I felt a little duped and shell shocked at the cash register. I will not be coming back to this salon and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I am friends with. I informed my friend that this happened and she thought it was a little insane too. She normally pays $150 with tip when it's all said and done for a partial highlight and trim. So while this experience hasn't happened to everyone, I just wanted to make others aware what could happen if you frequent this establishment. read more

My regular stylist is in Paris right now traveling to be a stylist for a wedding ...lucky girl... so I made a last-minute request to the downtown Summerlin Aveda Salon... now I'm the one who is lucky because I got to have my hair done by the wonderful Phebe! I was a bit stressed and her calming personality and super service really helped me relax! Really pleasant and personable and still professional at a very high-level! I found out she has five different beauty licenses so she does facials and waxing and hair etc. The salon itself is beautiful and I forget how much I love all of the Aveda scents in the air! By the end of my appointment, my stress was gone and I was sipping on several cups of that yummy Aveda tea! Oh, I guess I should mention she styled my hair really cute and though she looks really young, she said she has worked for Aveda for about 30 years! read more

I called to make an appointment for a haircut as a first time client and I kept getting hung up on, so I figured I would go in in person and make the appointment after my yoga class . June 13 today is my birthday and so I decided to get a haircut and confirm the time and day with the receptionist the day before . I just walked in and they say they don't have my appointment and it's booked for June 14 . They need to fire their receptionist as they are losing money because of the lack of communication . Jenika is SUPERB!!' She does exactly what I ask and it comes out gorgeous! She also remembers things about my life- even if it's been a long while. The salon is peaceful. The massage chairs at the hair washing station actually feel relaxing- none of those rollers that feel like a deep tissue massage gone wrong. Their tea is YUMMY! I have been looking for a place to get my back done as I am a hairy dude. I used to get this done pretty regularly but because of Covid I put this regular service off. I made an appointment here with Kelsey the esthetician who welcomed me as soon as the receptionist let her know I was there. She asked me if I wanted some water and really made it feel like a welcoming environment for a guy in a salon. Once I told her what I wanted done, she got down to business! I never felt rushed and she asked me if I was comfortable pretty regularly. She also told me there are two types of waxes and which she was using on me because of my skin type which made me feel better knowing it was tailored to me. She also asked what I used for my skin which I told her I recently got a dry brush that I was using on my back, and she advised that I use lotion after too which I started doing because of her. She also went over my skin routine on my face just to make sure I was doing my best. I didn't feel as if she was trying to hard sell me extra services but just wanted to make sure I was doing things right while letting me know what services were available.
