Street parking and a cover fee at $15.00 for 1 hour dance lesson, a dress code requirement and an entry to dance the entire night! The people are alive and very friendly and super comfortable being okay with two left feet. These dance lessons have some wonderful dance instructors and they make the two left feet in me want to come out and find my rhythm. La Rumba is 21+ with a full bar with dance floor. The restrooms and dance hall are super clean-- they have a VIP dancing area! The lights, the music make me escape from the every day 9-5 day job! I love the fun, the rebellious dance lessons and sexy swaying in all of us! The best part is being yourself. This isn't like Dancing With The Stars!! Everyone is here to learn, from all different ages, backgrounds of dancing, no dancing at all-- you name it! Everyone is here with a purpose. The goal is to keep coming! Don't give up!

Security was severely lacking, and the single "security guard" did little to make anyone feel safe. Mall cop presence... They also prohibit women from bringing pepper spray despite the obvious safety concerns in the area. I now understand why I was warned not to attend concerts here prior to attending. I sincerely hope they take security seriously before someone is seriously hurt here.

The modern dance which typically I am less a fan of then the classics was jaw droopingly gorgeous and creative. The studio on Santa Fe is also small and intimate and the audience sat in a bleacher style set up that made for a really special night.

There were so many people and they were doing their thing. The lines were long but moving quickly. I haven't been in the theater since 2008. So I did not like the seats an how close they were. I felt cramped and crowded.. The restroom was clean and the theater itself was neatly decorated and clean too. The first comedian that opened up was amazingly talented and great!!! He was funny and a principal.. I really enjoyed his and could see him again. He had the crowd cheering and laughing uncontrollably.. support this brother whenever you see him. He's worth the time. The dJ was fire he had the crowd amped up. He was dropping hit after hit getting us prepared for the show. When Ali came to the stage they erupted into applause and cheers. His mannerisms and demeanor were just characteristic and down to earth. He was funny and my side was hurting from all the laughing. We paid for the meet and greet and the line was long but worth the wait. He was so cool in person and love his fans. I would love to come and see him again.

Colorado New Style is a dance studio just outside of downtown Denver. It is located near industrial…read morebuildings so it is a bit secluded but don't let that deter you from coming. CNS offers free intro to Salsa and Bachata lessons. Yes, that's right. I said FREE! The classes run on a 10 week program. Each week builds off of one another so it is important that you take classes from the beginning if you are a beginner. Classes for each style are offered twice a week. Salsa is on Tuesdays at 6pm and Thursdays at 7pm. While, Bachata is on Tuesdays at 8:30pm and Fridays at 8pm. It is not necessary to attend both classes every week because they cover the same thing but it is offered so you can get some extra practice in. I would recommend going to their website to make sure you are starting at the beginning of the 10 week program so you don't get lost :) I have only just begun taking lessons and love it so far. I have also gone along with friends who dance Salsa and Bachata regularly (some competitively) and they only have positive things to say about it. It is great for dancers of all levels to go to hone and refresh your skills. On top of the free classes, they charge packages for higher level dancers. More information about that is available on their website. The instructors are very skilled, attentive, and give individualized attention to everyone even in large classes! If they see common mistakes among their pupils, they are quick to correct it which I find extremely important. They are also bilingual and are willing to instruct the class in both languages if there are any language barriers. I highly recommend these classes for anyone interested in learning Salsa or Bachata - or even if you want to get some extra practice in without the awkwardness or pressure of social dancing!

The establishment is located in a plaza that can get busy during peak evening hours, mainly, due to the daycare centers. My suggestion is to always turn right out of the plaza and go to the Parker Rd light during those times. It's less of a headache in the long run. Within the facility, there is an office or two, bathrooms, and a cubby area for belongings. The studio itself is nice. It's a medium-sized room with two walls occupied by full-length mirrors and a window respectively. It's comfortable right now (only referring to Zumba) but I can see the need for an additional Zumba time each day, in the near future, if more bodies show up & decide to become regulars. The class was lead by Keith, the owner of the studio and it was high energy. Keith is engaging, full of stamina, entertaining, and an interactive instructor. He can use an assistant to help him juggle various tasks in between classes (i.e. greeting, punching cards, questions, liability release, etc) but he manages. The playlist was non-stop, the music had great rhythm, beats, and sound (thanks to his new subwoofer:)), and the class was full. The class schedule seems to be organized well, offering one of each class available, at least, once a day including weekends. The class times were recently adjusted but seem to work well for most 9 to 5ers. He also has several trial and/or discount offers out there. I look forward to continuing the Zumba classes lead by Keith and the other instructors and eventually working into the other classes available. The studio is also offering virtual classes now so I'm excited to experience that.
