SPAGHETTI CARBONARA - Silky white sauce, crisp bacon, rich egg yolk, aged parmesan
    John R.

One other reviewer noted an oddly mixed atmosphere and to this I would agree. Starting off, the place is somewhat hard to get to. As in literally. You might find yourself making a U-Turn to get into the development. Then there is the gate (which isn't a problem when you say you are going to the restaurant) but then, you can't park or be let off in front of the place. Access is further down the road with a short walk back through the dock area. Anyway... Sitting outside for dinner, it was quiet, as one might imagine with the above noted. Service was great and the food was mixed. The Focaccia Bread with Rosemary and Garlic might actually be a reason alone to come back and give it another try. The BEET SALAD - Roasted beets, salad mix, honey dressing, pesto, burrata, toasted almonds was very enjoyable. However, the SPAGHETTI CARBONARA - Silky white sauce, crisp bacon, rich egg yolk, aged parmesan needed to have its game turned up a notch, as there wasn't much taste to it.

Went for a birthday celebration and it was perfect. The restaurant is beautifully decorated small on the inside but they have larger seating outside. Our waitress was simply amazing and so personable. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food the seafood pasta was a huge hit not what I ordered but I was able to try it and it was simply amazing. Not too heavy, pasta cooked to perfection, and the sauce was light but rich! i started my meal with the seafood soup which was just okay nothing to rave about. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled octopus appetizer as my entree and devoured the pistachio cheesecake for dessert. Music was peaceful and complimented the vibe throughout the night. Also, I had to push my reservation back 30 min I called a couple hours ahead of time and they accommodated us with pleasure. Will be back here the next time I'm in Miami for sure!

First time visiting & we had a great experience. The food was exceptional, gluten free friendly, attentive service & beautiful ambience with indoor & outdoor seating. We enjoyed everything we ordered: passion fruit lemonade, beet salad, homemade pasta spaghetti Alfredo with chicken, pappardelle with meat ragu, gluten free margherita pizza (I appreciate it having lots of fresh basil & tomatoes). We will definitely return the next time we're in the area!

Hidden gem in Aventura. It did not know it existed until today. We sat outdoors since the weather was so beautiful. The place has greenery all around. The service was top notch and the food was not too far behind. There are many choices of home made pasta and all the choices we had were delicious. For sure we will be back

The Green Pointe Restaurant has an oddly mixed atmosphere. If you added in white tablecloths and bumped up the service it would be fine dining; so calling it 'casual' isn't accurate. The decor gives an enchanted garden air, reservations are highly encouraged, parking is $4 valet only, and our meal came with an 18% automatic tip built in. However calling it romantic really isn't accurate either as during our visit multiple parties were seated with screaming toddlers so I don't know that I'd bring a date here and expect a quiet or intimate setting. The food itself was quite good, our pepperoni pizza was thin crust and flavorful, but didn't need the additional parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. The lobster bisque was toothsome, but not too rich and I was surprised to find the brandzino was wood fired so it had a nice heavy smoky flavor. Finally the Crème Brûlée with sugared orange peel was a delicious end to the evening. Overall, the space felt like it was in transition and the experience doesn't quite fit the elevated vibe they're going for, but the food was amazing and I would definitely visit again.

We come here for work all the time, & so I'm sad we didn't find this place sooner! 10/10 best meal we had all week! Tucked away in a residential area, connected to a plaza right on the dock- we were so excited to try this place! The pictures or reviews don't do this place justice. As we were approaching the restaurant out uber driver asked "are yall going to the green pointe" we told her yes, & she raved about it! Had nothing but great things to say which grew our anticipation even more! Went around 6pm, the hostess was great & sat us down in their outside patio area. Beautifully lit playing classics! The hostess even picked me a citrus from their tree. Sat down, got served infused water which was a nice touch & it began- For apps we got the shrimp skewers w chili sauce, beef tartare & mushroom truffle soup. ALL WERE AMAZING! For dinner I got the tenderloin, rest of my party got the carbonara & seafood risotto ALL OF WHICH WERE AMAZING AS WELL Will definitely be back

We've been here often in the last 6 months. Love it. Never have I ever been served moldy food, until today though. Just the garnish. The rest of the food was great as always - and the server did try to make it right when she found out. Will still be back.

The Green Pointe Restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! My sister and cousin were craving pizza, and we were excited to try the gluten-free options on the menu. Unfortunately, I discovered their gluten-free pizza is made with a store-bought cauliflower crust, and there's a $5 upcharge, despite it being significantly smaller than their house-made pizzas, which should be advertised on the menu. With that in mind, I ordered the octopus instead, along with a side house salad, which was definitely my favorite. I would return just for that salad; it was amazing--fresh and delightful. The octopus was okay, nothing extraordinary. My sister and cousin raved about the pizza and expressed their desire to return when visiting Miami again. I'm giving the restaurant 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First, there's a lack of allergen awareness on the menu, as it doesn't explicitly mention that the gluten-free dough is cauliflower-based (not everyone can eat cauliflower). More importantly, it was difficult to locate the restaurant; our Uber driver got lost, and we had to walk out of the gated community to order our ride back to the hotel in the rain. Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great recommendations!

We had a wonderful experience at Green Pointe Restaurant. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is always fresh, high quality, and served in generous portions. We went for breakfast this time, and everything was delicious with prices that were very fair. I've also been here many times for dinner, and they have a great menu with frequently changing specials that keep things exciting. Their pizza is always a hit and one of my favorites. Overall, Green Pointe is consistently impressive and worth visiting any time of day.

This is a long overdue review for an establishment that has served us well over the years whenever we're in Miami. But in week when our Fridge went on the brink and the earliest service repair a week a way, we basically turned to Greenpointe for our nightly meals via UberEats. And have to say, they delivered hands down. From salads to brazino to beef tenderloin and risotto everything was delicious, delivered warm and on-time if not early. Kudos to everyone there for the consistency and just keeping it real. Next time we're in town for prolonged period of time, planning for a dine-in experience. Hands down recommend this restaurant for the delicious food, prompt service and reasonable prices.

The service was top notch our waitress made great recommendations and was very attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the hugo spritz which has always been one of my favorite drinks to order in Italy after an afternoon spent sightseeing and walking around because the drink is so perfectly refreshing and not overly sweet which I love. The Hugo spritz was absolutely amazing, so much better than I expected, and brought me right back to the streets of Rome. Highly recommend! To start our meal we ordered the crispy polenta and it was a great way to start our meal. I absolutely love polenta and had never had it served this way so I was really excited to try it and it didn't disappoint it was absolutely delicious. The polenta was crispy and warm served over a layer of Cacio e Pepe cream sauce with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Such a simple dish but done so well and in a way I've never had before. We ordered a Margherita pizza and the braised short rib ravioli of the day to share. The Margherita pizza was very good, the dough was cooked perfectly, and it was another simple dish done well. The ravioli was just OK, but we were expecting something wow for the $50 price point, it was definitely NOT WORTH IT. Portion size for the price of this dish was very small and the ravioli itself wasn't very impressive it was lacking in flavor and the short rib inside was a bit too dry. We were also expecting a bit more as far as the pasta went, it didn't have that fresh homemade ravioli taste, the pasta itself didn't taste homemade or was anything special. The dish was simply ok, but again very expensive for what you get. We ended our meal with the tiramisu which was also just ok, not anything special, and definitely not worth the $15 price point. It was served in a small tea cup so portion size was small and didn't taste at all like a traditional tiramisu. Even a double espresso here cost $7 which again is a bit overpriced for what you get. To put it in perspective, for two people for lunch our check was $200 and the restaurant already included 20% gratuity even though we were just two people (most restaurants add the gratuity for parties of 6 or more). I forgot to mention, that dining here they didn't bring any bread to the table either when we sat down, so I'm assuming that would have been an additional charge as well. So although we enjoyed our drinks and the meal, for the price point I don't think we will be back again.

Overall this place is way overpriced. Food is average to good, service is average, but I probably…read morewouldn't be back. The ravioli were room temp at best and the pasta was hard. Almost dried out. I definitely wouldn't order this dish again for $52. The server asked if we wanted bread and we said sure having no idea that is an extra charge. The bread was average at best. The salad was okay. I didn't remember seeing there was blue cheese on it on the menu. Pears seemed under ripped and $27 for that salad seems like a rip off. Honestly, I would skip this place unless you are looking for drop $$$$....

The order was paid for online. When we picked up the food, both salads arrived without the chicken that was supposed to be included. The pizza was also incorrect and came fully covered with vegetables instead of half peppers and half cheese. My daughter called the restaurant because she specifically wanted the salad with chicken. She even offered to come back to pick up the chicken that was missing. However, the manager told her there was nothing they could do. He mentioned that he would comp the meal, which was not what we were asking for--we simply wanted the order corrected. Unfortunately, that was never done either. The only item in the order that was correct was the penne bolognese. Overall, it was disappointing to have multiple items wrong in the order and then not have the issue properly resolved. .

I ordered the penne alla vodka with added steak, and the steak tasted completely charred, with no real seasoning. The pasta had barely any sauce, wasn't creamy at all, and honestly reminded me of a frozen supermarket meal. We were a group of five, had just one round of drinks, and the bill came out to nearly $400, which felt completely unreasonable for the quality. Service didn't help the experience either. Our server wasn't very friendly and was quite pushy, repeatedly trying to get us to order a tomahawk steak even after we said no multiple times, which felt odd for an Italian restaurant to begin with. Also worth noting, the gratuity is already included in the bill, which might explain the lack of effort and attentiveness we experienced. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and definitely won't be coming back. It's a beautiful space, but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for everything else.
