Extra cheese n buffalo chicken pizza

In my opinion, this service is good. The pizza is near perfect if not that. I've had catered lasagna from Gabby's. It was pretty good. The ambiance is casual and the aesthetics are that of an art gallery. It's a choice place for pizza!

    Bad on the bottom :(

Gaby's has fallen off the good pizza list. They use to be so great, but the last two times I ordered was awful. It looked good, but looks are deceiving. On 11/6/25 I ordered half extra cheese and pepperoni. Looks amazing right. Now look at the bottom. BURNT PIZZA. Yes that is what I paid $33.00 for. No more I will make my own pizza if I feel for pizza. Soon I will have my own restaurant everyone and you can come and eat at my place the way I'm striking out with food lately :(. Later everyone happy weekend. The whole pizza bottom was burnt. They said they wanted to make another one, but who wanted to wait 45 more minutes on top of the original 45 minutes we were hungry and only could eat 2 slice to hard. SMH :(

"Great pizza!" Classic New York slice done right, crispy crust, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of sauce. Casual place with quick service, fair prices, and the kind of pizza that keeps you coming back. Love Gabby"s!

For yeeeeeeears I used to hear about this pizza and I finally tried it. I actually tried it twice to make sure my review would be off of more than one experience. Both times the pizza was the same quality. The pizza is good BUT NOT AT ALL the best. If we're judging off of Queens alone is #4 on my list. If we're judging off of NYC altogether its top 10. Both times I went there was a crowd, so they definitely have a large clientele, but yeah, I would only choose this one if I couldn't get to my other 3 spots in Queens.

The only pizzeria where I actually finish the crust. This place is so nostalgic, a Queens staple. Growing up this is where the teachers would order the pizza party pizza from. The space sits plenty and the staff truly knows how to put a smile on your face. My favorite part is the last few bites before you reach the crust, where the cheese has cooled enough and the crust is sweetened by the sauce.

    Margherita slices

Gaby's again filled my need for a good margarita slice (actually 2). They even offered a few varieties of chicken to add to regular slices when asked (grilled, fried, buffalo) and they freshly sliced nice sized pieces to add on. May not be nearby but it worth a trip. Mid day they are busy, so you may want to go as soon as they open or during lulls. Or stand on line while you try to choose from so many options. Clean, courteous, food service hygiene evident. When cash landed on my plate before a slice could be placed, no need to ask. They immediately discarded the plate and set up a new one with paper lining. As it should be.

Ordered a head, a large cheese pizza. The staff is always friendly, helpful and service is quick. They have music playing and a flat-screen for sports. A very chill atmosphere. It's a very popular neighborhood pizzeria. They also have a wall of fame so if you're ever on Hillside Avenue and Francis Lewis Blvd, stop in and give Gabby a try!

Came here after my Son-in-law Aunt (who lives around the corner) highly recommended this place. Sauce was good, crust was tasty and the cheese was delicious! Clean restaurant and have your mind made up before getting in line this place get's busy and people have places to go! LOL can you tell I wasn't prepared tehehehe BTW we reheated the pizza later that evening and it was still great - oven reheated. Anyhoo the grandbabies had the rainbow Italian Ice and they LOVED it. Next time we come to see Auntie we'll probably stop in again. Respectfully Reviewed.

I don't understand the backlash ... maybe bc I never tried gaby's during their "prime" back in the day. I was more of a margheritas girl. Not to bring up their other competition. I came across this gem rather late. But I feel like gabys genuinely makes good quality pizza. My pie was fresh piping hot & cooked well & tasted like good ol' classic NY pizza. The only thing I will say in which most ppl agree with is that their tomato sauce def has a sweetness to it. But I don't mind it. I love to pour a bunch of pepper flakes on my pizza so it balances it out. So they're still good in my book

Takeout perfection super cheesy pepperoni pizza. Sooooo hot and fresh!!! Loved it all the way down to the crust. Caesar salad was sub-par.

To me Gabys is still one of the best slices in Queens. The staff is always courteous. Order 2 slices (one pepperoni) a Sicilian and 2 medium drinks for $17. The slice were fresh and cheesy with the perfect sauce/texture.

Chicken parm hero on steroids!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL, MYSTICAL, AND MAGICAL!!!!!!

This is, by far, the worst service I have ever experienced…read more I was really pulling for this place. I wanted it to succeed. I told everyone about it, that it was some of the best pizza in New York. I gave them so many chances. Last night was the final straw. Made a reservation for Friday night at 8PM. We arrived at 8:05. The waitress who's basically always there, who sounds like she smokes about a pack a day, was the only waitress there that night. I felt for her, but also, not my problem. We didn't receive water or a full set of utensils and menu until about 8:15. At about 8:25, she took our order, and we ordered a few apps and calzone and pizza. I had to ask for my coke about 4 times until she remembered to bring it. Water was NEVER refilled. We were never asked if we were ok. Around 8:50, we finally received our apps. It was ok, they've made it better in the past. Ambiance was starting to die down as the restaurant was clearing out. We felt a bit bad for her, but also, this wasn't our fault, that they were unprepared for a Friday night rush (her words). By 9:15, we were furious and our moods were ruined. We sat down at 8:05, ordered before 8:30, we were the only ones left and our pizza and calzone were yet to be found. Shortly before 9:30, it arrived. And again, it was pretty good, but not wait over an hour for it good. I wanted this place to succeed. The pizza maker from Italy deserves a better crew. The waitress doesn't know how to be a waitress, at all. No apologies, not taking anything off the check, not checking on us. There's no busboy, no one dedicated to take out, no manager. It seems that everyone plays each others roles, and quite poorly. They've lost a loyal customer tonight. We will NEVER give this place another try.

What started out as a snafu, turned into a lovely afternoon…read more We arrived for our reservation for 15 people on a snowy afternoon to find only 1 person working and no record of our reservation. Alessandro was wonderful and worked so hard to accommodate us all by himself. We decided to keep it simple and order a bunch of pizzas to share as well as a family style salad. Pizza was served one type at a time, it felt like a pizza tasting menu and I loved every second of it. We started off the the Margherita, which was simple and delicious. His dough is perfectly springy and light, but also has great flavor as does the sauce. Prosciutto Pie included mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto and shaved Parmigiano cheese. Another delicious version, you can feel the high quality of the ingredients with this one. Salsiccia Pie used a spicy soppressata, tomato sauce and mozzarella. It's hard to believe but each "course" seemed to be better than the last. Svetonio Pie has meatballs, tomato sauce, ricotta, crispy pancetta, kalamata olives and basil. This was the most complex pie in terms of flavors, but they all worked so well together. The Arugula Salad with cherry tomato red onion, mozzarella cubes was the perfect acidic accompaniment to the pizzas. The restaurant itself is small and rustic, but it felt so homey and made for a perfect spot for our little celebration. Everyone agreed the pizza was excellent all around. I can't wait to return to try more of the menu.
