They have great lunch specials with their 6 inch hot sandwiches. It's also conveniently located next to a big Asian supermarket, laundromat, a kids tutoring place, and 99 cent store. Ordered an extra large cheese pizza and a chicken parmigiana. Bread was fresh and warm. Pizza was just as good as last time. Thin crust, not too salty compared to other places. We haven't ordered from this place for a long time but this is a pretty good spot for a tasty NY slice. Not too much cheese so not as greasy as other places in Queens. So I get that this place might be busy, but that is zero excuse for the horrible customer service they provide. The food is excellent, yes. I have a health issue that prevents me from eating wheat. I ordered the cauliflower pizza and called back just to inquire as to whether or not there was anything other than cauliflower in the crust, just to be sure. I ask about the crust and the man goes "It says cauliflower crust, it's cauliflower" with the most condescending tone. So I said "ok I just wanted to make--" and he cuts me off so rudely going "So are you ordering for pickup or delivery?" And when I started to say that I already ordered, he immediately hung up on me. This is not the first time I've encountered this kind of attitude here. They once forgot an entire pie out of our order and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm over it. Their specialty pies are the way to go - and their grandma pie is hands down the best grandma I've ever had. I've come here many times over the years but my most recent visit I can't help but to be upset. I called in an order for pick up because this is what I usually do to avoid waiting a long period of time, so I called in my order which was Penne ala vodka and fettuccine Alfredo with fried shrimp. Before hanging up the person on the phone taking my order repeated the order back to me, and it was correct. I went in to pick up my order and added some slices of pizza and some drinks to it. I never checked my box of food because usually things are OK. I did feel the need to check it but I went against my gut feeling, I get home I open my box and immediately I noticed that my food was packaged differently from the way it normally is. I open my fettuccine Alfredo and it was just pasta no shrimp, so I immediately called and asked if I was charge for the shrimp. They told me I was not which was confusing to myself and the person I was on the phone with due to the fact that he repeated the order back to me. I was told that this was a new person taking orders and I was asked if I would come back but I didn't want to do that I don't live very close but also parking. I surprised my folks the other day by ordering them a pie, delivered fresh from Fresh Meadows Pizzeria. Now while I can't speak firsthand on how the taste, they did tell me that it was quite good and it certainly hit the spot. My dad claims he only had two slices... but as his son, I know that really means he had three. What I can speak on first-hand is how smoothly the order went. While the pizza shop is only a few minutes drive from them, I'm always a bit nervous when I surprise someone with a food delivery. Things couldn't have gone smoother on the phone. They even called me back to let me know that the order was delivered successfully and that my parents were indeed very surprised. My parents actually facetimed me a few minutes later and they both had big smiles on their faces. I jokingly told to me to save me a slice for when this whole quarantine thing is behind us. I'm very much looking forward to the day that we can eat together safely in the same room. I can't believe I have never been to this pizza place. Well it's probably because I had no idea it existed. This pizzeria is located in a small shopping center on 69th Avenue in Fresh Meadows. We decided to grab dinner there after reading all the amazing yelp reviews and it was so worth it. The chicken parm dinner was delicious. The veggies slice was perfect and the garlic knots were huge with the right amount of garlic. The pizzeria offers a sit down option after 4pm and although it was raining out it had a decent amount of tables occupied. I'm so happy to have a found this hidden gem, will be my go to spot from now on. I also noticed they have daily specials and great lunch special from 11-3 pm. Sorry guys I was starving so I stuffed my face and forgot to take pics! U I'm updating this review because I had decide to do sit down dinner and boy was it such a wonderful experience. The place is always packed for sit down and the girl server is so sweet and attentive. These have a large selection of dinner specials. Underrated pizza, great rolls. Fresh Meadows pizza has been a mainstay in the neighborhood for years. It amazingly consistent, the standard cheese slice, is well made with a good crust underneath. Toppings are equally great, the veggie slices, including spinach/broccoli are good options for greenery on top of slices. The meat slices, especially the pepperoni are good for those that can handle the extra grease. A special shout out for the spinach and pepperoni rolls. They do look and taste great. They may take some time to wait for if there are none in the case but it is worth the wait. There are plenty of options for bottled drinks and ample accompaniments for the top of your slices. Given the fact that Fresh Meadows Pizzeria has been around for some time, the decor definitely shows the time period when they were installed. One side of the restaurant contains immovable seats which were definitely a staple of its time but needs to be modernized a bit for 2018. It could definitely use a makeover and for that reason I never eat in but always take out. read more

My go to Pizza stop when I'm in Fresh Meadows. They are always consistent with their Pizza and hot food. This place shares a parking lot with the laundromat, grocery store, and the cafe (in the rear of the storefront) so it's convenient. I've been coming here for years and only realized this is the first time I'm Yelp-ing this place (odd...so overdue...). This visit, I ordered some plain slices, a Sicicilian slice, a Chicken and Ricotta slice and a Stromboli with sauce on the side (it's extra for the sauce, not free). Everything was delicious as expected. To me, it's the sauce that makes or breaks a pizza. Theirs is the perfect combo of sweet and salty. My kiddo's really enjoy coming here. The stromboli was so good. Soft baked pizza dough, lots of cheese and meat. I tasted salami and ham for sure. Ate it too fast and was watching GOT so I didn't pay attention to the rest of the ingredients. Trust me, it's just good. Other visits in the past, we've tried the chicken parm, garlic knots, and penne. All good dishes. The only thing hit or miss is the table service. They are often busy on the weekends (which is the only time I am there -- Saturday's usually) so depends on the server. Still good overall. Note: There are two dining areas, for the quick service and slices, you can sit in the casual side by the pizza counter. For table service and the full menu, you can dine-in on the opposite side. Must try their "secret spices" - it's a blend of oregano, red pepper flakes, garlic and a slew of other herbs, it's a secret! They wouldn't disclose all of the ingredients. I asked for a small container of it to go since it was only available in the dine-in spice jar and I really wanted to try it. Our group has had its school reunions here for the last few years, and everyone has always had nothing but 'high marks' for the food and service. It's not common to find original family-run operations in this area of Queens anymore - and this one is the real deal. A great selection of dishes available - 'made to order' and served quickly. The place is sometimes very busy with take-out orders - especially on weekends - so at times an eat-in order might take a little longer. You know I come here way too often when I can order anything from the menu direct from memory. Whether we do takeout or eat in, it's always convenient to have a solid go-to place in the neighborhood for some home cooked Italian, whether you're carbing up on pasta, devouring a hero or in the mood for just a NY slice. If you do eat in, the dining room is divided into the "order from the counter pizza side" on the right and the "sit-down waiter service side" on the left, over the wall. Check out the nightly specials on the board with selections you won't find on the regular menu, sometimes with fresh seafood of the day. If I don't see any specials I like, I'll default to the fixed menu items. Chicken Marsala or Linguini w/ White Clam Sauce are always my favorites, though you can't go wrong with either Chicken or Veal Parmagiana as well. I wish they would make the mussels over linguini a regular item, because you get a ton of tasty mussels and I would order it all the time. One of the other main reasons we like to stay for sit-down dinner is the free hot garlic knots and breadsticks. Mm-hmm. Lots of stupid reviews here. Some girl whined about the rigatoni saying it was too oily. HELLO this is italian food. It is supposed to be oily.
