Pizza is great if you eat in and get slices-the variety and quality are outstanding. Thin, crispy, no nonsense pizza. never had a bad slice. Probably the best place north of Dom & Vinnies. Its only good/great if you get a pie to go-sometimes inconsistent, but always a quality product. Don't sleep on their Chicken parm slice-it's outstanding. read more

Originally from Long Island which has some of the best pizza around so trying to find a good pizza place up in Brewster-Fairfield area has been a challenge. So far after a few months this place is winning. My wife and I only had a few specialty slices but they were very good. A little salty for some reason but good enough to forget about. Not oily and not cardboard. The place is in a good shopping center with ample amount of parking. The interior of the pizza place can use some updating. The floors need to be redone and the place should be brought up to the 21st century with some technology. The staff up front was young but was able to handle the customers. They should have polos with the places name on it to up their "appearance" and seem more professional. Greeting the customers also could help them out. Pricing seemed a little high but with the U.S. Government screwing he farmers over I can't really blame them for passing costs onto customers. I'll probably return in the future if I'm in that area. read more

Absolutely the best pizza ever!!! I worked in the pizza business when I was a teenager and have not liked pizza ever since. I find it too soft and greasy. It seems like most pizzas are just a bunch of toppings places on dough. No art to it. No flavor. However, Gaetanos has a crispy/ crunchy dough that holds the ingredients. It adds to the flavor of the topping. And the toppings are so artfully chosen. The vegetables and cheeses and meats and sauces are just set in perfect harmony!!! Not one flavor is overwhelming. I usually come here once or twice a week. Pizza is pretty good. Today I was disgusted. I saw a young kid with a finger in his mouth looked like biting his nails then go and put some ones good on a plate with no gloves just bare handed. I have a thing about people not using gloves when handling my food. Shit even the fast food places use gloves. Idk I give them benefit of the doubt that they are clean but that was nasty. The best pizza in Brewster hands down. The price was so low and the slices were huge! Not to mention they have other things on the menu that you do not see in everyday pizzerias! Ya know, West area of Brewster and Carmel are full of pizza places . ( So is the Route 22 Brewster area). And then in West Brewster/Carmel , there is Gaetano's. Good pizza. However, person behind counter was very rude to us when we started asking questions about gluten free pizza. They got very defensive and arrogant as if we had no right questioning anything.. As you may know, some of us have to question to guarantee gluten free is prepared without cross contamination. I only come here because my wife and kids for some reason like their food. I personally do not nor do I care for their attitude. Just today while on the road I was about 20 minutes away and decided to surprise the family with some things from this place. I called and as usual the person answering the phone has attitude, seems to be in a rush to go somewhere. So I am placing my order and in the middle of the conversation he hangs up on me? I assumed he received the order. I show up at the place and there is no record of my record of my order. So the time it took me to get there my order would have been completed but now I had to sit there another 17 minutes awaiting my order. Another idiotic thing is you can't order individual slices on the phone. It is either a full pie or nothing. Ridiculous. Overall the attitude is not customer service oriented. Oh and BTW the pizza pie is nowhere near NYC style pizza. We will not be eating here again. read more

After giving this business rave reviews and being a good and constant customer, the past 2 times we have ordered from there have been raging nightmares. The kid who takes the order refuses to pay attention and comes across rude and bored. Tonight we ordered stuffed shells and fettuccini alfredo with chix and broccoli. The fettuccini smelled sour a soon as my husband came home. After thinking/hoping it was perhaps the container that smelled, we sat down to dinner. I tasted the alfredo sauce and gagged! Rancid! There is no way it left there without someone knowing it was bad. I ended up throwing it away and then taking the trash outside immediately. My husband's stuffed shells were so bland (no salt, no flavor) and the Tomatoe sauce was just not the gaetanos we knew and loved. Dogs got the stuffed shells. I'm sick to my stomach and my husband ate a peanut butter and jelly after a 10 hour day at work. Shame on Gaetanos for raising prices and lowering quality! read more

Horrible !!!! I ordered a calzone with 4 toppings and said I would be right back. I returned in about 10 minutes and was asked if I could be helped. I told the gentleman I had ordered a calzone he said okay and walked away I noticed a calzone sitting on the countertop five minutes later another gentleman came by and asked if he can help me I again said I ordered a calzone he said it's right here and gave it to me he had no idea how much to charge I had to do the math for him 75 cents a topping which came to $3 I got home and it was the worst calzone I've ever ate there were no toppings in it whatsoever I will never return there again !!!!! read more
