Too much cheese on the Margherita pizza. Do not like the drizzle of oil. Artichokes are too big.

Always really good even when DD delivers it! The crumbled Italian sausage pizza is delish!

Normally I am not a big fan of pizza, but their pizza is really good. Never had a slice that I didn't like.

My food was ok. I still rate four stars for a few reasons. One, I've only been to this place…read moreonce, and I only ordered a breakfast burrito. Two, I've only visited once. Three, they seem to have a lot more to offer, so I can't be too harsh on a one time visit. Again, got the breakfast burrito, with eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. I was surprised at the lack of seasoning and how I couldn't really taste the cheese. I say this because I am a palm colored person and I think the proprietors may be Mexican, so I expected a little more pizazz (please call me in if this is being insensitive). Maybe they are just trying to accommodate the locals or be neutral. The folks working (possibly the owners?) are super nice. Lots of drink options (juices, water, sparkling water). Also sells coffee, tea. They also sell a lot of sauces, including hot sauces, pasta sauces, various condiments. The menu seems pretty broad: Brekkie: BEC, omelets, burritos, lox bagels, steak and egg wrap. Lunch/dinner: skirt steak sandwich, Italian chicken cutlet, grilled chicken, burgers. Salads and wraps to include caesar, greek, house, buffalo chicken, etc. They also have quesadillas, tacos, burritos, wings, nachos, empanadas. The shop is bright, open, clean. Definitely seems like a community spot. I am sure they are five stars. My particular visit was a one off. Or maybe it's a me thing. But if you're ever in this tiny little hamlet, stop off at Milton's and give them a try.

Saturday, 11th April 2026 North Salem, NY…read more Sunny 66°F When we heard about Purdy's being one of the very few Westchester restaurants to receive a Michelin plaque for their stewardship of Farm-to-Table cuisine, we knew we had to visit. Blue Hill at Stone Barns (2 Michelin stars) and La Bastide by Andrea Calstier (1 Michelin star) are the only two Westchester County restaurants with Michelin Status. Purdy's rugged farm based surroundings on this clear bright morning were a bit unusual for what one would expect. However, once we entered the landmark old house with its original well appointed ambience of 1775 and beguiling aromas coming from the kitchen, we knew we were in for a treat. Menus were not quite ready (printer problem?) upon arrival to our table. Once we received the menu of the day - we knew what to order, plus we were accompanied by a great friend who happens to be a wonderful chef who knew the place well, and she is quite familiar with what to choose based on the well-mannered upper echelon Westchester locals. Here is what we ordered. Firstly, a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our birthday guests. Followed by ... STARTERS: Clam Chowder Polenta Fries Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail MAINS: Wild Mushroom Bucatini Nova Scotia Halibut Scottish Salmon Everything was delicious and well plated. Our waiter, Sean was warm, friendly and efficient overseeing his assistants who brought out the cuisine, and cleared the table items carefully. We will definitely return. 5 easy stars Thank you!
