I am done with this place cause they have started adding a credit card charge to your order without telling you which no business in New York is allowed to do unless they tell you that there is an additional charge for using your credit card. And they gave me the wrong slice when I was in (I had asked for a buffalo chicken slice and they gave me one with I dont know what on it, some kind of chicken, bacon and some nasty ranch) read more

Very good i've enjoyed it each time. I like the crumbled sausage they use on their pizza... On Thursday night all my friends get together at a garage and they order from Rocco's. While we "were" regulars at this restaurant and still will say the food is amazing. Customer service needs training on how to handle certain situations like, finding hair on your food. Unfortunately that was the case for us and the waiter (tall thin with dark hair) never apologized for the incident. We had to experience this unpleasant event, then waited for another plate all without even a single apology. We have since then been disappointed and have avoided returning back. read more

I've only ever had takeout from Rocco's pizza. I have to say they are always really nice and accommodating. Delivery is available if local. White pizza is really good. Prob the only pizza I like in this area. They even have dough balls you can purchase to make your own pizza at home. Overall great service I can't complain and during covid they've been very accommodating. read more

Food overall was okay. Ordered Pizza, Eggplant Parmigiana, Penne Vodka to name a few. The twist to my rating is the Penne Vodka was bad. This was an order for my child, for which she ate almost the entire dish before I get to taste it since the adults were sitting separately from the kids. I didn't think anything of it, as I covered the taste of the Penne with my other items mentioned. After driving home, my daughter threw up before she reached home. She threw up 2 more times in the span of another 3 hours after. As for myself The next day I felt the stomach virus and stayed in bed, without wanting to eat for entire next 24 hours. Also another thing I noticed, and should have requested. My wife paid the bills for a party of 8. She was handed a total-final bill without a break down of what was ordered and charged, for signature. I didn't think this was professional at all after thinking back this next day, as customers should not have to ask for a break down. read more

First time sitting down in Rocco's for dinner. Old school diner vibes both outside and within, super casual. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we wanted. Started with fried calamari, ordered my son a personal mini pizza and wife and I each ordered a grinder (veal parm and chicken parm). Grinders served on toasted bread, not massive portions but hit the spot! I tried a slice of my sons pizza - delicious, crispy, fresh. We are fans and will be back! read more

Friends of mine live in this town and thankfully took me to Roccos. This "diner" serves up some great pizza. I should say it serves up some amazing pizza. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and I love the diner experience off the side of the road in a small town. The menu isn't big but it doesn't have to be. An extra large pie filled us up (three of us) with a couple slices left. We got some garlic bread as well and it was definitely worth it. They do serve bottle beer, so I sipped on some suds while waiting for the pie to bake. This could be some of the pizza I've ever had, but I need to come back again to verify this research. read more

Best pizza we've found in the area since recently moving from Westchester. Loads better than the nearby chain and other popular restaurant in town. Can't go wrong with a plain or white pie, also enjoyed a calzone and Greek salad. Recently also tried a pasta dish that hit the spot and looking forward to trying more. read more

Their pizza is IMO the best in the area and very reasonably priced compared to others.

First time visit. We got there ten minutes before opening and were able to go in and sit down. First thing I notice was how bright and clean everything was. Nice to see a restaurant that starts the day with a spotless table and counter area! It was also nice to see family running the business. I spent many years doing restaurant work back in the 1980's and there's not many restaurants that show the care of a family run place. Ordered a pizza - see photo. Looks delicious. Sometimes I feel like all that I do is review crappy pizza places. It doesn't matter if I'm in Beijing or London, or Minneapolis. If there is a pizza spot I'm compelled to try a slice. I have been known to take a bite of a slice and then throw the rest out immediately in front of the pizza ppl. I don't care as I hold pizza very dear to me. I am generally very offended by the pizza spots in and around NJ and NYC. Especially NJ as I've found most places in NJ to serve perfectly apathetic, listless and unexciting pizza that the locals all rave about. So I was at Liberty paintball park having a crappy time there, see my review, when my wife said, "hey let's get pizza". I generally hold paintball pizza to a lower standard when we go to paintball parks and grab a pizza for lunch as paintballing is our primary goal on those days. So imagine my surprise when I took my first bite and me and the wife just stared at each other with question marks on our faces. This pizza spot is basically in the middle of nowhere down the hill from a paintball park and ski resort. This pizza is also pretty damn tasty. Like if it was around the corner from my house I'd be ordering a large extra crispy pie 3 times a month. These guys make a solid pizza don't hesitate to grab a slice from them! read more

I came here with my family of 5 after touring Watchtower's Patterson Bethel. We were tired and so hungry. I chose coming here based on other yelp reviews (aaaaaand because my youngest son was hard up for some pizza). But there were only a few reviews and no pictures to go by; soooo... I felt like it was kind of a risk. In a nutshell: Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Building: 3/5 Pricing: 4/5 Out of the nutshell: The building itself is very divey looking. Small, classic, silver rimmed and framed with trees. An image right out of the 70s. Thanks to a previous review encouraging newcomers to look past its building, we did. And you should too. We came inside and were warmly welcomed. There wasn't a big crowd or anything - but that wasn't a bad thing because I appreciated the exclusivity (btw they ran out several delivery orders while we were there). Their menu is authentic Italian. Everything you would expect and more (including the names which I had to ask for translation). Pizza by the slice saved our life! We ordered pepperoni by the slice, chicken/broccoli/tomato/onion pizza by the slice, Philly cheese steak sandwich, ham and cheese calzone, and meat ravioli. Everything was great and had very full flavor. They did not disappoint. Their red sauce was wonderful! It had the perfect amount of acidity. You can trust the quality and taste of their food... I had a hard time deciding what to order because I really wanted to try three different pasta dishes and a fresh to order pizza. But it just wasn't practical for me when trying to feed my family and young kids. (Heads up to the owner: a dinner sampler would have made my heart happy). I settled for ravioli because of the kids. My son loved them, and I was ok with them too. I mean, it doesn't offer the complexity of lasagna ... But my son enjoyed them (and so it goes with a mothers sacrifice). The chicken and broccoli pizza by the slice was very good. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak and that was very good he was happily satisfied. My aunt ordered the ham and cheese calzone which came with red sauce on the side which I thought was a very wise presentation. She ate it all up. We shared cheesecake (which had an authentic Italian name I can't remember) and it was also very good. The restaurant is family owned and operated. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I could tell he loves the food he cooks and serves because he had very convincing recommendations and he cared about our good experience. The restaurant is old, but well kept and very clean. The restroom is small but also clean. Sadly, the restroom did not have toilet seat covers and that's a major no-no and an easy fix. Checked this place out twice after going skiing. It's conveniently located on Rte. 22. Like the old diner space, which had a lot of room for kids. The waitress was really nice, who we had for both times. Ordered pizza here, plain and with broccoli, which had a nice medium crust and perfect for my family. I did get a side salad too, which wasn't anything special, but did enjoy the olives. The 2nd time there I did order a veal parmigiana, which was tender and dense enough to feed two people. read more

Checked out this place with friends visiting from out of town. It wasn't too full when we arrived on a Tuesday, but the service was great. Ambiance of the place wasn't as "cool" as I would've liked, but that was nothing compared to everything else. Our server was very friendly and made conversation with us. The staff was attentive. And the pizza was awesome!! We ordered an XL meat lovers and shared it between 4 people. It was plenty and we were satisfied. The crust was perfect, flavor was great- meat, cheese, sauce. Everything. Great Food, Great Service! I have been going to Rocco's for many years now. First started going there as it was a couple miles right up the street from my home and they deliver which is great! We moved about 10 minutes further away and are surrounded by lots of pizza places within a 2 mile radius of our new home. We tried most of them seeing if there was something comparable. While the pizza is good at most of them, none of them are as good as Roccos, As such, we now drive out of the way when we want pizza. Its just that good. On top of the fact that the pizza is "that good" -- the service by the family that owns the business is the best in town. Friendly, kind people who care about their customers and treat you like an old friend every time you walk in the door. Stop in and give them a try! read more
