Excellent Framing - Best Prices I've Ever Seen!…read more I needed some framing done and a friend suggested Moonlight Murals and Framing in Nashua. My request was a little different. Being a cheap Yankee, I was trying to save money. I've been buying framed artwork(prints etc.) at thrift shops and yard sales for years. Pay maybe five dollars(OR LESS!) for something someone may have paid $50 to $100 to buy and have framed. I guessed that if I gave someone the frame and my print to remount in it, it would be a lot cheaper than having a new frame custom made. I wasn't sure if a framing shop would want to do it my way instead of using their own materials(and making more money). I called the shop and Pam(the owner) was totally open to my idea. I had 3 pieces to do - 2 prints to mount in frames I had and A T-shirt I need framed in a frame I had. The 2 print pieces cost $26 to do(for both!), and the T-shirt framing, more work etc., was only $30. So, for a total of $56, I got 3 things "re-framed" and looking fantastic. Her work is excellent, high quality hardware and wire used, and nice paper backing on the back. She included some of her own matting in 2 of the pieces. She also sells artwork and antiques in her shop, and does custom artwork. She can do large murals for homes and business's, and does portraits of pets and people - multi-talented! If you want the framing done from scratch, she has a wide variety of frames to choose from, and as I said, her work is excellent. I've been putting these projects off for years, but now that I've found Moonlight Framing, I'm HAPPY HAPPY! I have a lot of things to "re-frame", and now I know I can get them done quickly, in high quality, and AFFORDABLY!

I first heard about SCARE NH last year when looking to assist some new friends from Brazil go on…read moretheir first Trick or Treat EVER! Since that time, I have learned that they collect second hand costumes year round and some businesses will also donate brand new costumes at season end. They also have a free haunted house called Spookville operating weekends in October. Friday and Saturday night they have your traditional haunt, but on Sundays during the day, it is sensory friendly for kids and scaredy cat adults who at least would like to see what is inside a hunted house without creepy scary jumping out characters. Great people, excellent nonprofit and Fantastic service for families trying to give kids a good time when money is stretched thin!!!

We also put together a haunted house which is open to the public at no cost. Keep an eye on our website and/or social media for dates & times of when its open. Each year is a new theme designed to bring out the best screams you have. *Sundays are reserved for the more "timid" individuals who want to see it while it's less scary.

Toys and stuff, yay!…read more This place was a joy to browse in, and definitely worth a look if you're in the area. The cabinets on all the walls are full of toys, oddities, and apparel from all over the world. There's a room for coats and clothes, a small but nice selection of furry slippers and shoes, and there's a lovely table right in the middle with all kinds of jewelry, rings, bracelets, etc. There's a whole room in the back dedicated to South American stuff as well. My favorite part? The toys of course! Right when you enter the store, you're greeted by a cheery standing rack full of cuddly, furry animal hand puppets of all kinds, that just call out to be tried on and played with. Further in the back there are racks of respective finger puppets, and shelves full of pretty little beaded and wooden figures - both doll house types and these awesome string-controlled wooden puppets (not quite marionettes, since they're controlled from underneath). There was this awesome pair of scissors shaped like a bird, with the blades in the shape of a beak. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but oh well. Overall, the prices are very reasonable, especially some of the coats and clothing. Some of the small toys were a little too high in my opinion though. I mean, who in their right mind wants to pay five bucks for a tiny wooden flowerpot smaller than a pinky joint? Come on. The jewelry was very affordable though, and I bought myself a pretty silver ring as a souvenir for five bucks. Five bucks, you say? Aw shucks, I coulda gotten that flowerpot.

This is the sort of location that if i had unlimited funds i would buy half of what they had…read more Sometimes on limited funds its hard to justify paying $85 for a shirt or $100 for earrings. Still i think that the value of purchasing items that are from this location out weight the prices. Set in downtown Peterborough next to the Sharon Art center this location couldn't be better for this store. I equate this location to a 10,000 villages which I have come to love over the years. I would say best for there selection in jewelry, i don't see a ton of people paying their prices for clothing.
