The woman there took a careful look at both rings and found a way to resize just the engagement ring and still solder them together. They look absolutely perfect and are exquisite!! They did a great soldering job, even though the medals are also different. I picked up my rings only a few days later and they were wonderfully cleaned and cared for! I also let them know I needed my ring resized and they placed in a ring sizer to make it smaller for the mean time. After two weeks go by with no follow up I call and request an update on when the appraisal will be ready. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about and asked if they could call me back. It's been another week and I have not heard back from them yet. I'm just going to go to a new place to have my ring appraised as this seems to be a very disorganized place.

All I can say is that I was pretty distraught at the time because I never thought that I would be able to replace it exactly. Luckily, my wife's rang was the same as mine so we took a few pictures And sent them to this jeweler and magically they were able to replace the ring with an even better model. All I can say is there is one word that tells all about this jeweler and that word is quality. I brought in my antique engagement ring that was incorrectly resized by a previous jeweler…read moreresulting in an oval shank. I had concerns about the ring spinning despite resizing. Gary inspected the ring in great detail and made a recommendation to remove some of the shank and rebuild it, as well as to place tension springs to prevent spinning and slipping. He took his time to measure my finger for the optimal fit. I was told by another jeweler that all of my prongs needed replacement and I wanted a second opinion. Gary again took his time to inspect all the prongs and reassured me that they didn't need replacement. I was very glad for his honesty. The next business day, Gary fixed the ring in 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully. I was so nervous previously to entrust someone with my ring, but I felt at ease. Gary offered that I stay and watch the entire process. He told me to inspect my gemstone carefully after his job was complete as general good practice after having my jewelry worked on! I am so happy with the end result and strongly recommend this jeweler. The key factors that impressed me most were honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, patience, mastery of his craft, and sharing of knowledge/providing an understandable rationale for his decision-making.
