On multiple occasions, I observed players not calling their hits, and even when video footage was shown to staff, little or no action appeared to be taken. This creates a frustrating environment for players who are trying to play honestly and follow the rules. Another concern is what feels like favoritism. Certain teams seem to receive special treatment despite having a history of disciplinary issues and previous bans. From a player's perspective, it often feels like enforcement depends on who you know rather than applying the rules equally to everyone. I am also concerned about the culture that is allowed to exist at the field. There are members of a team that continues to play there who have publicly displayed patches containing racist language. One of the individuals associated with these patches also serves as a referee. Seeing that kind of behavior associated with staff and regular players reflects poorly on the field and makes the environment feel unwelcoming. What makes this especially disappointing is that the field has the potential to be a great place to play. Unfortunately, the lack of consistent officiating, perceived favoritism, and tolerance of inappropriate behavior have made my experiences overwhelmingly negative. As a result of these ongoing issues, my team and I have decided to cancel our memberships and will not be returning to this field. We can accept losing games, making mistakes, and dealing with the occasional bad call, but we cannot support an environment where rules appear to be enforced inconsistently and serious concerns are repeatedly ignored. We would rather spend our time and money at a field where fair play, accountability, and respect are taken seriously. Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend this field to players looking for fair and professional airsoft games.
