It is part museum, part restaurant 917 (not 1917), part cafe (speedster) and ultimately very Porsche. I am really not into cars, but a brat is, so I guess this experience is definitely up his alley. Sharon in the Porsche Gift Store was so helpful in recommending a demo! Sold! My friend picked up a shirt and a demo. I opted for the branded napkins, posters, and soaking in the ambiance. She is the perfect Ambassador for Porsche. Friendly, professional, attentive, and great at delivering that Porsche Experience! Can't wait to come back.

Best Christmas gift ever!! Easy to get to. Close to both 110 and 405 freeways. Large parking lot. Entrance and greeting is fantastic. Check in and get your personalized badge with lanyard matched to your specific car/drive experience. Can check out the facility and even the restaurant if you go when it's open. Meet your coach is where it begins. Fortunately I was paired with an absolutely amazing coach named Nate. Nate has an extremely friendly and welcoming demeanor, great at making you comfortable but while also pushing you and ensuring you gain new skills, increase confidence level, and overall have an amazing time. Highly recommend requesting Nate when booking your experience. I took out the 718 GT4 RS. Definitely recommend!! Super raw and visceral experience. The car sounds awesome. Mid engine is well balanced and tracks exceptionally well. Cannot recommend trying this highly enough. Can't wait to come back and try out a 911 GT3!!

Well organized, safety oriented, yet casual and friendly whenever possible. It feels like family. The driving schools are perfect for introducing someone not only to race track etiquette, but general car control on public roads. They have a class for every level of driver. Beginners are always welcome. The 2 day format allows plenty of time to absorb and practice. A bonus is that once you experience the controlled environment on a race track, your urge to speed on public roads all but vanishes. Perfect for those who have a lead foot! The time trials and race events are fiercely competitive on-track, but totally laid back in the pits. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, which is welcome after running with some other clubs. And rates are far lower than any other organizations of this caliber.

Not only did I learn a lot about technique, I gained valuable knowledge about situational awareness, how to exit my car in emergency situations and quite a few "on track" how too's. The instructors answered all of my questions with positive response, and used the questions in discussion. The end of the weekend graduation exercise with all the instructors was a true eye opening experience, I never would have never thought that I would be able to handle wheel to wheel.

The smell hit me first: burning rubber mixed with ozone, a bouquet that spoke of countless battles fought on these very tracks. I approached the counter, signed the waiver with trembling hands. This was it. My initiation into the world of electric velocity. The safety briefing washed over me. Speed limits. Racing lines. Flags. But my mind was already elsewhere, imagining the perfect lap, the flawless execution of every turn. Then I saw it: the kart. Sleek. Silent. Deadly. I lowered myself into the molded seat, gripped the steering wheel. The moment my foot touched the accelerator, everything changed. The instant torque slammed me back into my seat! No engine roar, no warming up--just pure, unadulterated acceleration that felt like being shot from a cannon! The first corner approached rapidly. I braked--perhaps too hard--and felt the rear end slide ever so slightly. My pupils dilated. This was it. This was the dance. Turn two. I remembered the instructor's words. Brake early. Apex late. Accelerate through. My body moved on instinct, finding the rhythm, becoming one with the machine. By lap three, everything crystallized. The track revealed its secrets to me. That slight banking in corner four. The deceptive tightness of the chicane. Each revelation was a flavor explosion on my palate--bitter defeat transformed into sweet victory! Other racers surrounded me. I could feel their presence, their fighting spirit! We weaved through corners in formation, each seeking that perfect line, that extra tenth of a second. When I finally executed a flawless outside pass on the long straight, my entire body surged with electricity! The laps blurred together in a symphony of speed. Left, right, brake, accelerate--a recipe perfected through repetition, each iteration bringing me closer to nirvana. And then, too soon, the checkered flag. My final time flashed on the screen. I stumbled from the kart, legs shaking, heart racing, a massive grin splitting my face. The other racers gathered around the timing board, comparing battle scars and bragging rights. This wasn't just fun. This was transcendent. This was speed distilled to its purest essence, served at precisely the right temperature to ignite the soul! K1 Speed had delivered a five-star experience that left me hungry for more.

The experience isn't consistent, the employees act like they don't want to be there and somehow, this is just how it goes. Cool then I won't be back. I asked the manager onsite first but just got defensive and said it was normal just a few spin outs . Is it normal for our carts to be shut off and barked at non stop and not have a clue as to why or who they are yelling at? I said my experience was trash but maybe it's just the organization. Have fun stealing someone else's money.

The F4 car simulation felt incredibly close to what I'd imagine driving a real formula car would be like. The force feedback, handling, and overall immersion were on another level. As a complete novice, I was surprised to earn a 4-star rating in my first session and a 3-star rating during the F4 testing. Even more encouraging was the positive feedback from the instructor, who pointed out that I was already counter-steering some drifts naturally. The staff was knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about racing. They made the experience fun while also helping me improve. This wasn't just a game--it felt like actual driver training. I'm already planning to come back and race against others.
