The staff here are meticulous, warm and very kind! I came with my sisters and mother to celebrate our mother's birthday. We played the jail break game which is supposed to be the hardest game, and while it was difficult it was also super fun! You can get clues whenever you want and we made it out with just 10 seconds to spare! (You get an hour to try to escape) The team was so kind, they gave my mother a special birthday surprise and really took time with us to make her feel special. I definitely recommend this business for a fun outing. Thanks to the whole team and The Escape Game, and especially to Lyo, our game guide, who made the whole experience so wonderful!!

I have gone to The Escape Game twice now, and I can't wait to go for a third time. Not only are the scenarios and sets absolutely incredible, but the puzzles are so interesting, and each room never has a dull moment. As someone who likes solo adventures, the staff has been nothing but kind and energetic, and on the occasion my own two hands weren't enough, they lent theirs to make sure I could have a successful experience (special shoutout to Pedro). I've already recommended The Escape Game to several friends and I can't wait for my next experience!

We hosted my daughter's birthday party here and it was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, the experience was top notch. The staff is beyond professional, genuinely kind, and so patient with the kids. The escape rooms themselves are spotless, creative, fun, and seriously cool. I've been to many escape rooms over the years, and this one truly blows all of them out of the water. You can tell how much care and thought goes into every detail, from the puzzles to the overall atmosphere. A special thank you to Wilson, who was absolutely wonderful. He was patient, welcoming, and made the entire experience smooth and memorable for everyone. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.

Super fun experience and the manager Jordan is amazing. They were so accommodating to our big party and our babies. The kids actually escaped! Yay! It was a 6 out of 10 a scale of difficulty level but when you are with 11 year-olds and Under, you just never know what happens. The room is so enticing and has a lot of cool traps. They give you 45 minutes to escape. And they give you an escape sticker if you win! The prices are very affordable and it is so family friendly but also for adults! The room we did is called the playground

Unmatched Escape Room Experience in Torrance! We've tackled every single room here and each one is meticulously crafted, immersive, and loads of fun. The attention to detail is incredible with movie-quality sets, multi-room puzzles that flow together seamlessly, and storylines that really pull you in. If we had to pick a favorite, it would be the Gold Rush room. The theming and twists kept us on our toes the entire time. But honestly, none of the other rooms disappoint; each one offered a unique challenge that was just as fun. Some highlights: * Puzzles that are integrated directly into the environment, not just random locks or clues. * Friendly and helpful staff with unlimited hints so beginners and seasoned escape enthusiasts alike can enjoy without stress. * Great for all ages and skill levels, perfect for families, friends, or larger groups and corporate events. If you love escape rooms or are curious to try a premium escape experience in the South Bay, this is absolutely the place to visit. We can't wait to see what new rooms they come up with next!

My fiancé and I decided to do The Gold Rush room together and we had Alana as our GM (who was amazing). The room was so cool and we escaped with 8 minutes to spare! The staff that was working that evening even made us a really sweet card to congratulate us on our engagement - thank you again!! We definitely will be back.

We had a BLAST at the escape game! It was tricky, but you can ask for hints or choose to get hints as needed. (We chose the ladder as we needed a little help LOL. Cass was super sweet and helpful and celebrated with us when we escaped!! We had a great experience!

This was at the end of the games

This was my first time ever doing an escape game it was an overall 10/10 experience. Also I took my three kids with me ages 4,3 and 8 and they also had fun doing the playground room. They you to the team at the escape games they answered very questions I had and they were overall amazing. Thank you so much my family and I had such an amazing experience.

Went to play The Depths on a double date with some first timers and we had so much fun! Definitely a new refreshing take on escape rooms in the area. The fact that this location is open so late is crazy, but perfect for a spontaneous late night activity. Came in with curiosity and left feeling like I walked out of Disneyland. Check-in was smooth and our GM, Rosa, was very sweet and funny. 10/10, gave the perfect hints at the right time. Thank you for the fun experience! Will definitely be back again soon. ;)

Walked in on a random Tuesday after browsing the Del Amo shopping mall and was welcomed by friendly staff who were able to open some rooms earlier due to it being a slow weekday.

This location is closed now which is super unfortunate. Experience: When entering the location, there is a seating area with a bunch of puzzles you can play with while you wait. This is also where you can fill out your waiver for the escape room. Make sure you come early to allow for time to park and fill out the waivers. After waiting a few minutes, our game master came out to give us the typical rundown (don't use force, how to get hints, etc). The escape room we did was the Black Cat. The puzzles in the room were a mix of your typical lock puzzles, but there were some unique puzzles as well with cool effects (don't want to say too much to spoil). We completed this room with 15 minutes to spare as a group of 5. I would say this is a medium level type room. Puzzles were straightforward and made sense. The set design was super cool and fit the theming of the puzzle. Price: Rooms were $42 per person but there's deals often so we got 50% off per person for our room. Parking: Located in an strip mall with with some parking. There are multiple businesses in the plaza and parking may be difficult if it's crowded.

I first found Planet Escape Room when I moved to Long Beach in 2019, and our first room was "Wise…read moreGuys." We completed it with just the two of us and loved the theming, mix of physical and cognitive puzzles, flow of the room, cool effects, and technology! Then the pandemic hit, and no escape rooms were done by me and my peoples. Once things opened up again, I grabbed my buddies to try "CTRL + ALT + Reality". This was not our favourite room. We found the tech buggy, and it was frustrating to have correct solutions without being able to move forward. Even though we escaped, we left looking for other rooms to brighten our spirits this day. Fortunately, I was able to return for a special event to work "The Vault," and this room was great fun! We enjoyed the puzzles and the non-linear design. The room had a good flow with perfectly-working tech, and the '80s & '90s references were amazing! The owner even worked on the soundtrack for "The Vault," and it fit the theme perfectly. Nice work, Jason! My most recent experience here was for a friend's birthday in "Game of Swords." What a fun experience! We opted for a surprise customization, and the group was delighted to find it in the midst of the stress of trying to escape the room! The room had mixed tech with good theming overall. Our gamemaster said it was the easiest room in the building, but we barely made it out with 5 seconds or so! Planet Escape Room has amazing customer service, and if you come for any special occasion, ask about customization opportunities. They really do make for a unique experience! You want excellent gamemasters, too? Here, you'll find them! How about a private booking experience? Done deal! And don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free drink!

It's hard to fathom, but almost a decade has passed since we paid to stand in line for any…read moreexperience, much less a pirate one! We love how escape rooms now accommodate duos, and especially appreciate that rooms are now private, and we are able to be silly and competitive and immature with the people who matter. I mean, imagine being stuck on a schooner or deserted island with people you don't know - it would be a streaming series! Oh, wait ... Well, Back in Time is one of our favourite companies when it comes to escape rooms that are immersive and faithful to theme and story, but we're a little embarrassed to say that we were excited to try Blackbeard's Treasure because of a streamed show, excellent, though it be. Yes, we could have chosen to do this particular escape room because of the book(s), the movie, the theme park or the dinner adventure, but, no, it was Black Sails, just taken off that streaming service, that piqued our interest! The mall where we usually play Back in Time is under renovation, so we played our Friday afternoon game at their temporary space in a small strip mall not far away and just as easy to get to. Parking was good right outside at 3:30pm on Friday, which was their first game of day, and we arrived just about the same time as Harrison, our very enthusiastic game host, who had just escaped (haha) from the same traffic jam as we had. We were shown into the waiting room, and although this was not a permanent location, the lobby looked exactly as it did in the mall, and it was nice that the clean no-frills restroom was located at end of hallway inside the business instead of outside in the mall. Our entry into the game was heralded by a preview video which complemented what we knew about Blackbeard, especially fresh off Black Sails - but game (unlike TV series) was definitely family-friendly. The room was spacious for our duo, and would fit four in a group comfortably. On the whole, the room was a little dark, but the décor was in theme and music was ambient. Blackbeard's Treasure was a linear game, where most of the puzzles were one & done, even though there were some red herrings (of course, pirates ...). We categorise it as a 3G or third generation room, meaning it comprised a lot of use of magnets, but also a lot of nice old locks. Happily, there were no glitches at all, and everything worked to our success at 52:02. Our very favourite part of the game was being fired on by cannons, and although we wish we could understand the parrot - Captain Flint shore was purty! - we had no least favourite puzzles at all. Harrison was fantastic because she made sure we could read the clues on the in-room timer and clue screen when it was clear the bird was speaking in not an escape roomer's language! Everything made sense, and, once in the room, we didn't miss the mall at all. In fact, we took advantage of the promotion that allowed us to take photos in the room with props, and our gamemaster did a terrific job with both their camera (and thank you for getting the photo to us immediately!) and ours. It was a little more expensive, but worth it for the memories. This review has been posted on Google and Yelp.
