This was my very first escape room, and I had an absolute blast! My sister and her boyfriend are escape room veterans, so they thought it would be funny to throw me straight into a 9/10 difficulty room for my first experience. Somehow, we escaped with just 12 seconds left on the clock! The room was incredibly well designed. The puzzles were challenging without feeling unfair, and every clue felt rewarding to solve. We were so focused on escaping that we completely forgot about our phones. there wasn't a second to spare. Our host, Tia (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly!), was so sweet and welcoming. She explained everything clearly, got us excited before we went in, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're an experienced player or a complete beginner like I was, this is such a fun way to spend an hour with friends or family. Walked in on a random Tuesday after browsing the Del Amo shopping mall and was welcomed by friendly staff who were able to open some rooms earlier due to it being a slow weekday. Normally, they would group us with strangers but since we were the only ones there at the time, they allowed us (a duo) to play in a single room. I appreciated the flexibility and friendly tour through the rooms! My friend and I played The Depths, and completed it with no hints and twenty-five seconds to spare! The room was clean and high-tech for proper immersion into the puzzle's plot. The puzzles were challenging and straight-forward, and I appreciated the lack of red herrings and the ability to take your phone around. I would recommend taking pictures of important clues so you don't have to run from room-to-room to cross-reference! Using the flashlight on my phone was also helpful in the dimmer rooms of the puzzle, as well. Overall, awesome experience with the escape room and will be back again whenever we are in the area. The only thing I would suggest that they do different is pause the timer for the "story videos" that they play here and there. They also have prison break, cosmic, and even a cabin type of escaping costs about $42 per person and you need an adult to play the game. No one under 18 without a parent can enter. read more

Came here on a Saturday evenings to play their Cosmic Crisis room! The props and theme of the room was very professional and fun. I would say the room is kind of hard, there were some parts where we needed a hint that just didn't make sense but maybe that's just me. The ending is pretty fun because you get split with your group and have to work together! They were also very flexible when tow of our friend canceled and gave us store credit for that. The staff here are meticulous, warm and very kind! I came with my sisters and mother to celebrate our mother's birthday. We played the jail break game which is supposed to be the hardest game, and while it was difficult it was also super fun! You can get clues whenever you want and we made it out with just 10 seconds to spare! (You get an hour to try to escape) The team was so kind, they gave my mother a special birthday surprise and really took time with us to make her feel special. It's a really cool place to come for group activities and events. Came with my cousins and did the depths, the submarine themed room. We were grouped with another family who reserved a game in the same room as us so we had a lot of fun solving the puzzles and events though it was our first time we finished w/ 6 mins still on the clock. The game master was a cool guy and the girl at the front desk was nice too. They gave a paper crown bc it was my cousin's graduation and stickers that said "I escaped". It was a 6 out of 10 a scale of difficulty level but when you are with 11 year-olds and Under, you just never know what happens. The room is so enticing and has a lot of cool traps. I downloaded yelp just so I could leave this review. The staff were so kind ! I went with my friend and during the room we couldn't solve the puzzles because of the other people in our room. Depite that, I still would've come back to play another room because the puzzles were cool but they did more for me than I expected! after we escaped, the staff, I believe the person watching us play throughout the room I am so sorry I forgot his name, offered us compensation. Also, the staff working the from desk was very kind and accommodating when we needed to switch the time on our room. Me and my friend are extreamly greatful and I will be coming back. My family and I were here the other night for the Trainliner (Train through Time) escape rooms. Our party included small kids (between 8-10 years old) as well as the adults. We thought the overall game was GREAT, lots of fun videos and scenes, problem solving, unique clues and lots of help provided when we asked. The kids LOVED it and enjoyed their time and experience. Went to play The Depths on a double date with some first timers and we had so much fun! Definitely a new refreshing take on escape rooms in the area. The fact that this location is open so late is crazy, but perfect for a spontaneous late night activity. Came in with curiosity and left feeling like I walked out of Disneyland. My friend and I were walking around the mall and noticed this shop under the amc ! We decided to go in and check it out, and the front desk girl was very nice and helpful. There is a tv that shows the rooms available as well as the time slots. They do have a bathroom inside the store. For storage, there is a little basket to put your stuff in your desired escape room and you can hang your coat behind the door if needed. We were only two and got lucky to have the room to ourselves. You have the options to pay extra and make sure the room is private OR you can pay the 41.99 and leave it open where there's a chance someone may come in with you to do the room. We did the time travel one and it was really fun!Danny L. Was our guide and we had to let him know we wanted no hints unless we pressed the button. Another phenomenal experience at Escape Game, Torrance! I'm so impressed with the quality, atmosphere, creativity, cleanliness, and courteous and personable staff there! I was a little leery of trying escape rooms because I'm not the best at riddles (ngl I thought I'd feel dumb!) but Escape Game rooms have so many different types of puzzles and problems to solve that everyone in our group, from the 9 and 10 year-olds to the grown-ups, can have their moment to shine! Keep in mind, though, these rooms are recommended for 13+--not because of mature content but because the puzzles are designed to challenge the cognition of teenage+ brains. Today we booked "The Depths" so my son and his closest buddies could celebrate his 10th birthday. The staff was warm and professional and even gave him a signed birthday card (even though we didn't book a birthday package)! It was super sweet of them! At Escape Game, you get your own personal staff member who introduces you to the room and then watches and listens via cameras while you play, ready to provide hints and help on demand. The staff truly aims for everyone to have an enjoyable time and solve the room so they'll step in with hints if you're getting down to the wire and you don't know how much more solving you really have to go! I also love how they're more than happy to let you take as much photos and videos as you'd like during the experience and afterward, encouraging you to pose with props! And there's a fun celebration on the big screens in the lobby when you escape before time is up (which I have a feeling the staff is *always* going to ensure your party does!). If you're looking for an escape room where you're truly locked inside unless you solve it, Escape Game isn't it--doors to the exits are always unlocked and staff is *aiming* to help you to have fun and escape the room! Pricing is pretty reasonable, too, when you consider the great production value and added touches like a water bottle-filling drinking fountain and fully-stocked and cute restrooms. The women's restroom even had free feminine hygiene products and a baby changing table! It's adequately climate controlled, too throughout the building and rooms--another fear of mine assuaged by Escape Game. They've thought of everything here! My son and I are looking forward to returning soon with his friends to try another one of the 6 rooms! read more

Came in for cosmic crisis at 10:20PM and was immediately greeted with awesome staff. The lobby was clean and so were the restrooms which was great. The room was super interactive and fun! It was a few of our first times doing an escape room and we're really glad we did it here. There were some hints which was also a really nice touch too! Huge shoutout to Blake, Niki, and Carson! Having really supportive and nice staff is really what ties together an escape room in my opinion. Being able to chat with them like they were our own friends and not just staff really made the entire experience so much more comfortable. My husband and I are avid escape roomers. We have been waiting for this Escape Game to open in the Del Amo mall. We have done 4 of the 6 rooms: Timetraveler, Cosmic Crisis, Goldrush, and the Depths. My husband and I were BLOWN AWAY. The quality and tech of the rooms are incredible. The rooms are so immersive and they run so smoothly. We agreed that all of the puzzles were fair and you feel so accomplished when we would solve them. Wilson was our game master and he was so great. The costumer service we received was top notch. The actual escape room was really cool. My 17 year old niece, 7 year old son and husband and I enjoyed figuring our way out. What we didn't like was that no where on the order screen when I was signing up did it say that there would be other people joining our group. Once payment went through, then the confirmation page stated that the experience was not private and there would be other parties joining us. When I read the fine print to see if I could cancel, it stated that you could not cancel within four hours of the reservation (I reserved it within 3 hours). Big bummer but oh well. We showed up to check in 10 minutes before our reservation time and asked the attendant if there was another room that was available that did not have another group already signed up. He said there wasn't. That was fine, at least we asked. He said they would let us in our room as soon as the other party arrived. We waited for 15 minutes past our reservation time and the other party finally showed up. They seemed to also have the same issue we did and didn't want to join our group either. They decided to move their reservation to a later time slot. We finally were escorted in 20 minutes past our reservation time. Once in the escape room, like I said, everything was really cool but there was a lack of air conditioning and a very weird smell. Would not return here. read more
