They were helpful on the phone, the fellows showed up on time and were nice and, as far as I can tell, they installed the windshield just fine. However, I later noticed that the cover to the bolt that holds on some plastic trim below the windshield is missing. I had seen them looking on the ground earlier but didn't really think too much about it. Obviously, I now know what they were looking for. My car isn't all that, but I do feel that they should have told me they lost the cover. Just seems like the right and professional thing to do. Also, they told me I would receive a receipt soon after they left. Vegas. Fastest growing city in the country, thanks to the masses fleeing costs and California living. It comes as no surprise that along with the boom comes construction. A rock hit the glass along the edge and a single crack worked its way across the passenger side field of view. Dagnabbit. It's not epoxy/quick fixable. Of all the glass companies I requested a quote from, nearly all but 2 said they couldn't do the repair. You see, it's not regular glass. It has sensors in it that need calibration for rain sensing and all the doodads and thingamajimmies that modern tech that accompanies a luxury car would need. SMDH. Anyway of the 2 who said they could do it, Galaxy responded right away. On a Sunday evening nonetheless. We texted back and forth and on Monday, Veronica called and offered to do a 3-way call with USAA to file the claim (best insurance around - more expensive but they don't *uck around. Flat deductible of $500 and and scheduled a morning appointment the following day. Installation took just over an hour with Veronica doing the calibration herself. Veronica was great and very accommodating! There was a mix up about the appointment time and she was able to move her schedule around to still see me. I had 2 rock chip cracks on my front windshield and another which I thought was a crack, but she said it looks like something peeling and not a crack so she didn't touch that area. She repaired the 2 rock chips fairly quickly. I've had rock chips repaired before in CA at another shop and the chips would completely disappear and it wasn't noticeable. However, with Galaxy the 2 rock chips are still noticeable, but Veronica did mention it would stop the spread of the chips and there is a lifetime warranty. They're reasonably priced, would recommend, but just know your chip will still show. Saved me from having to spend hundreds on a new front windshield! read more
