Beef, lamb, beef belly, shrimp, and fried tofu.

This was my first time having hotpot that wasn't at my parents or family friend's house. It was so fun and delicious! 5 of us went on a Thursday night at 7:15 with no reservations because it was a last minute decision to not cook. They were able to accommodate us without a problem. Tables were filled but luckily they had one table of 6 that just left, Yay for us! We were quickly seated after they cleaned and set the table. Our friends had been there before and they recommended Galaxy Hotpot. This place is clean and everything in the sides bar was so fresh! We each ordered our own pot of broth. Hubs and I went with mushroom each, another went with Chinese herbal, and finally tomato. They were out of Thai Tom Yum and our server was very apologetic. We had a variety of meats and goodies like prime brisket, lamb, pork, beef belly, octopus, mussels, headless shrimp, fried dumplings, cuttlefish balls, mushrooms. Everything was so good! I made my own dipping sauce, added a variety of mushrooms like shiitake, oyster, and enoki, tofu and rice cakes for some extra yum. Our food came out quickly and our server was so sweet helping us with setting the temp & suggestions. We left full and happy. The only downside is that there were mistakes in the proteins that came out and sometimes it took a while to get the proteins. Maybe next time we will order a little more each time our server drops off something or at the beginning. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our meal. The dessert was ok. The cookie wasn't too bad, there was a filling inside that made it slightly sweetened. There was only one tiny square of cake left but it was still moist and had just the right amount of sweetness. I tried the taro pudding and the mango pudding which wasn't a pudding, more like a beverage because it was watery. The mango was decent. The taro didn't taste like anything so maybe it just wasn't enough flavoring? Overall this was a fun and tasty dinner. Great for small groups. It might be good with kids too but you will definitely have to keep an eye on younger kids because of the hot broth in the hot pan and heading plate. I'm looking forward to going back with friends again! We didn't feel rushed at all.

We had a great experience here! Lots of fresh ingredients to choose from, and a really good variety of broths. Everything was super clean and well-organized -- you can tell they care about the details. Service was quick and friendly too. Definitely coming back!

Started off birthday celebrations at Galaxy Hot Pot and Sushi! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I love their hot pot menu! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I love their Chinese Herbal Broth! Highly recommend that one! If you are vegetarian, they have a huge selection of veggies for you at the self serve bar and a selection of sushi rolls as well. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our orders coming. Ordered basic sushi to try and it was good too! This is a fun place to eat at with a group of friends! Highly recommend for a fun dining experience!

An ample selection of food from the bar, sushi menu, and regular menu. There was also draft beer, soju, cocktails, soda, and more! Our drinks came first and even before all members ordered their broths, the kitchen came out with the pots of broth as we were ordering! Wow! One waitress in particular had exceptional service! She was attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and eager to serve! Super energetic that made our meal exceptional. If you have never been to this restaurant, go and try it- in my opinion, this place not your typical hotpot joint. - the custom and made-to-order sushi were super fresh, along with dumplings and egg rolls that were sprinkled in the menu. There was limited dessert as Boba tea was an extra cost. No matter, there were some fruit, and some cello with some sweet cakes- besides, I was super full to eat more. Pace yourself, this place is hopping with a two hour dining limit - not enforced but be aware. There was also signs of additional charge if food ordered were not finished from plates like the sushi- so be aware. Overall, super fun experience, good time with friends, tasty food! Would go again. One other surprise- when it is someone's birthday, a fun song comes over the intercom and more- check out the video!

When we arrived, we stood at the host desk for a good while before anyone said hi nor acknowledged us. It seems like they were short staffed, but it really felt unwelcoming. We had to get their attention to ask to be seated since there was a sign to "wait to be seated." The restaurant wasn't busy and there were only a few other tables at the restaurant. Once we sat down, I appreciated the efforts that the waitress made to explain the dining experience to my friends who haven't been there before. The veggie, sauce, dessert bar seemed fresh. From the kitchen, the portions come out very small. 1 order of fish balls is just 3 balls lol. So, be prepared to order multiple orders of the same thing. They have a limited item selection for lunch for a cheaper price. Overall, food was alright. The restaurant seemed cold and not inviting. I'm sad to see it change since the last time I came.

Second visit on 11/14/24! Decided to eat at this restaurant again after the Navy Boot Camp Graduation!! Food tasted even better the second time around, from the day before. Enjoyed eating the Tom Yum Soup bases with Ramen noodles, rice noodles, fried dumplings, broccoli, French fries, beef brisket, pork, ham, California Rolls, Crab Rolls, and Boba drinks! Received excellent service once again! Truly enjoyed our dine-in experience as the food items were delicious! Definitely satisfied with the choices of food at this business establishment.

Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! I went with my parents for lunch and it was an unlimited supply of sushi and hotpot for a decent price. The interior of the place was open and bright. It was also very clean with a simple set up which I also appreciated. Our waiter, J.C was awesome. She was kind and very thorough when explaining to me how everything worked. My family has been there numerous times before so they were pros on what to do and how to do it. They were very helpful too. My family and I ended up ordering hot pot and sushi. My dad and I are hot and spicy lovers so the Tom yum broth was right up our alley. My mom, I believe ended up ordering the mushroom broth which she loved. You then pick from what seemed like an endless amount of toppings ranging from jumbo shrimp, quail eggs, tteokbokki, tofu and many others. THEN! You can go to this buffet of veggies that you can add to your broth so you can pick up from toppings like nappa cabbage, lotus root and then they have various noodles you can add as well like ramen and udon. Each table has a table top burner which then they put your requested pot of broth on and when boiling, you can add your toppings. I legit was in food heaven so besides the broth, I wish I could post everything else I added but I honestly can't remember. Overall, everything was super super yummy. Everything was fresh and the broth was to die for. J.C kept to her rounds and continued to fill up our broth as needed so we could keep ordering what we wanted and filling our bowls (and stomach). As I had discussed earlier, we did order sushi and I can't remember the names of each roll we ordered but I do remember the galaxy roll and that alongside everything else was fantastic. Freshly rolled with crunchy and succulent ingredients, I couldn't ask for more. I definitely would come back here, preferably for lunch over dinner and I would encourage you to do so too. Enjoy with your eyes and your tummies and well, you can thank me later. Bon Appétit!

Fun and good food. Everything came out fast and fresh. They have a veggies, sauce, and dessert section where you can make your own sauce and choose veggies for your broth. This would be fun for a group. Server was attentive and helpful. I wish they did half orders of sushi so you could get a lot more. Each order was 8 pieces and more than enough.

I love a good hotpot, but I really don't recommend coming here with a large party. We booked reservations a month in advance and when we checked the week of, they didn't have it booked. Thankfully we were able to book them again. We were seated in the very back at a shared table and it was hard to get in and out for toppings. I would expect a private table for a birthday party booked well in advance. Everyone ordered their proteins, sushi, and sides off the menu. When it was brought to the table, it was put down anywhere with no description so we struggled to figure out who got what. It was very chaotic. Once we were settling with our toppings, it was delicious. All the staff were incredibly kind. I would love to come back with a smaller group of 4 or less.

All you can eat sushi and hot pot. This place is amazing. The service is fast and friendly. They have several broths to choose from ranging from not spicy to spicy. Tons of meat and fish options. You can order off the dinner only menu at lunch you will just have to pay dinner price. They have nice veggie , noodle and sauce buffet to pick out extra ingredients for your hot pot. There is a $10 charge for over ordering and not eating meat/seafood that was requested. Sushi is fine and fresh. If you enjoy sushi and hot pot you would not be disappointed. This place is similar to hibachi where the table is the cooking area. The place is moderately loud and good for groups. This is not a place to get super romantic but great for a 1st date, families and just a nice easy evening out.

So for clarification, I should say that this is the only place I've had Hotpot. That said I can't compare it to a similar place but I can say that this is a fantastic meal and an enjoyable experience! The first thing to note is you can get a free milk tea with a yelp check in! It was very tasty so don't miss out. The ambiance is nice enough and the table set up is smart. You get 1 broth per person but can order extras if you want. I've tried all the base flavors here and for me the original is the best. It imparts just the right spice and flavor into your food! This was a lunch visit, which is cheaper but comes with less options to choose from. A good middle ground. I do love the beef tongue from the dinner menu though. After placing an order for some beef belly and lamb, as well as some fried gyoza, we headed to the salad bar to get our veggies and some noodles. I like the sauce bar, it can be fun to customize, but we're on the clock and I don't always want to spend time here. Some pre-made sauce mixes could be a nice addition. When you do make your sauce, I like the pungent garlic and soy mix. Our meats came out quickly and we started preparing our food. Be warned, this can get messy. There will be splashing! Everything is great here and I found the service to be pretty attentive and quick. This was another great visit here! Again, I can't compare, but this seems like a top notch experience to me. Highly recommended!

I first went to Galaxy Hotpot and Sushi as part of a Yelp event and was so impressed that I knew I had to come back. I came back with my husband and two friends and I was not disappointed. We came during lunch hours on a Thursday. The lunch menu includes all of the basic meats and sushi rolls that we wanted. If you want the premium meats and sushi rolls, you need to come during dinner hours. The lunch menu is a great value. The restaurant was not busy and the service was great. Our soups and meats were out to the table within two minutes of ordering. The food was all fresh and tasty. The veggie and extra bar was fully stocked. I will not hesitate to come back again and bring more people to share the experience. I highly recommend Galaxy Hotpot and Sushi!

The broth had so many options to pick from, we got the Mushroom, Chinese Herbal, and the 2nd level of spice they have (They have 3 level of spice for broth) called Thia Tom Yum. And they have many options for meat. The service was fast with everything and there was a self serve area. The ambiance was space themed, you can tell by the name.

Our group shared the following: popcorn chicken, stir-fried chicken gizzards, fried eggs with Spam, corn cheese, truffle French fries, seafood pancake, bossam (pork belly, shrimp paste, lettuce wrap), rose tteokbokki, steamed egg souffle with cheese, spam and kimchi fried rice, station noodles (beef broth, veggies), and strawberry bingsoo. My favorite of the night was the rose tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was perfectly chewy and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. The popcorn chicken was also good and paired well with the sauce it came with. The bossam was on the dry side and the seafood pancake was pretty standard. The fries were good but wouldn't pay $10 for a basket of fries if we came back next time. The corn cheese was also good but the plate was small. There was a call button at each table which was convenient. Food came out individually as it was ready instead of all at once which was to be expected for our party size.

Our Combo was $100 and included miso or seaweed soup, rice, banchan and four kinds of meat: marinated bulgogi, short rib, ribeye and brisket. Delicious Delicious. The banchan was tasty tasty. I especially liked the pickled cucumber and the kimchi. Some of the reviews said they were charged extra for refills on the banchan dishes. We were not. What a feast. The server loaded up our grill with brisket and would leave and come back to flip things or turn things although we were pretty capable of doing it ourselves. They very nicely cut our ribeye into bite-sized pieces with the kitchen shears and also snipped up the short rib. The meat was delicious and the banchan and rice soon filled us up. We used the green leafy lettuce to make ssambap. I also liked the sauce with the sesame oil and salt. The bulgogi was last and we had to dig deep to finish it. What I liked was that nothing stuck to the grill and nothing burned either. I've had kbbq before at other places where it was too hot and the meat was burned. Everything was cooked perfectly. There was another table where flames shot up from the grill but the staff quickly went over to help. The staff was friendly and efficient. The banchan was plentiful and tasty. For the 5 of us, we ordered the double portion of large intestines, beef tartar, and the bulgogi hotpot. The presentation of food initially was great. I've been to gopchang restaurants in Koreatown in Los Angeles and in Korea. I have not been to one that cooks gopchang in a grill with no outlet for oil drainage. For something greatly oily, it felt uncomfortable seeing it cook in an abundance of its own oil. The restaurant's lackluster solution to all of this oil was to dunk in large pieces of bread to soak it up. This not only looked very unappetizing but was not a successful solution. Additionally, letting the gopchang cook in its own oil, left the gopchang to be "fried" crisp and hard. The bulgogi hotpot had a good amount of meat and vegetables, but was way too sweet. They gave a small bowl of chive salad to a group of 5 of us to share, which we were each able to get very small portions of. They charge extra if you want more chive salad. Overall, a very disappointing experience, could not recommend.

This is a staple for our family. This particular visit we brought family from out of town to eat in. They were very impressed and left with satisfied bellies.

Now for the update. For years I considered this modest restaurant a highlight. The staff was cool…read moreand efficient. Ordering was a breeze and the guys were always open to a conversation or giving suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the meal was always tasty. Just a note but the further away you move from any major city the fewer and harder it is to find great Asian food. The suburb is lucky to have them. The pandemic brought new staffing. Some were pleasant with customers though one lady, a supervisor had the wrong ideas of what customer service and proper etiquette is. Just the basics of my final visit. I took my family for lunch. We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.
