We have been here so many times. And EVERY time, the food is sooooooo good, hot, fresh, and cheesy!! Love the atmosphere. Love the concept (arcade, billiards, food, beer, and music all at one place). Small enough so you can turn your children loose to play arcade games and not feel they will get lost. Big enough with the high ceiling to feel like you're in a large restaurant/bar but without all the drunks. It's bright, family friendly but still adult enough to have fun if you don't have children. Amanda, Josh, and all the employees are polite and competent. Cool place to go if you're a nerd too. "ham solo" I mean come on, that's genius. Plenty of things to look at for anyone who enjoys a little nerd culture. The food portions are large too. So I've not ever tried their food and it could be really good, however, we stopped here one afternoon and 3/4 of their tables were empty with dirty plates on them, the other 1/4 were occupied. I'm assuming there was a staff shortage because we never even seen a member of their staff, much less did we get greeted at the door. I would highly suggest they try hiring some people. I ordered this for the first time. I based my decision on reviews and a friend's recommendation. I cannot speak to the service or the atmosphere, but we were throughly disappointed in the pizza. It had way too much sauce, and seemed very greasy. When I picked up piece after piece, the toppings slid off into the box. And the crust was very thin. I'm sorry I can't give it a better review, and maybe some people like having the end of the slice of pizza fall onto their shirt, but not our family. read more

Pizza and arcade what more can a person ask for? My in laws and the hubs were famished. Yelp does come in handy when traveling. We drove up a little mountain to get to galaxy pizza. Was it worth it? The answer is yes. Upon entering we noticed the old school red booths and an array of arcades lined up from the door all the way down to the bathroom. Once seated we perused the menu and chose one large "Meat"eor, and a large Supernova. My better half and I decided to take advantage of the free arcades offered in the back. The ones in the front were pay to play which isn't bad at all. If you're on a budget just head on back. Oh and I believe they had pizza buffets which we missed by an hour. That sounds like heaven lol Our supernova and "meat"eor were served to the table piping hot. We all immediately chowed down. The sauce was tangy and a little sweet with melted mozzarella cheese. The dough was spongy and buttery. This was more of a bread texture for me on the crust. The banana peppers on the super nova was good, but a bit overpowering with its vinegar. Great cheese "lunar" sticks! Pizza is good (would give an 8/10). 14 or so arcade games for free play but unfortunately some are finicky and don't work correctly. Always seems clean every time we have came. One of the few places that charge for water (.50) unfortunately. Both workers were great and definitely earned their keep with as busy as it was. Doesn't look like much on the outside but it was definitely more than meets the eye. A very cozy eatery along with some TV and arcade games for the kids to enjoy, this place definitely goes above and beyond. As we walked in we were greeted by the staff and they were extremely friendly. We told them we weren't from the area and they definitely made us feel welcomed. The food is made in house and it's very delicious. They do offer a buffet bar with plenty of options. For just an extra dollar you also have option for the salad bar. The veggies in the salad bar were very fresh and green and left my taste buds wanting more. The staff told us they get it fresh from a local farmers market so that is very reassuring. The kids wanted to just play the arcade but it was not a problem considering they are all free and unlimited. I will definitely be coming back! We have eaten at Galaxy Pizza several times- always very happy with our food. We have tried - several different pizzas (pepperoni, meat lovers and pineapple and ham) the calzones (so good!), the lunar sticks (OMG so good) and the chicken wings. if you eat at the restaurant they have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have free arcade games if you eat there. The last time we ate there they had 8 different games. They also have tv's showing different cartoons. What a hidden gem this is. We happened to be in the area so we tried it. We will absolutely be back. It's so great the kids can just play and eat. Free arcade games can't be beat. The food was tasty. Pizza is better than most in this area. The wings are baked so I had to ask them to put them back in the oven to make them a little crispier. It's like a much better version of Chuck E. Cheese because the food isn't as expensive and tastes outrageously better and the games are free! Be back soon. read more

These folks take extra time and trouble to create a pizza taste that is out of this world (pun intended). The atmosphere is great, and why not? How can you knock a wall lined with retro arcade machines? It's noisy, sure, but it's a GOOD noise. (And thank you for not trying to drown everything with piped in muzak!) But beside the atmosphere, the pizza tastes absolutely fantastic. They make their own dough and sauce, and they do it right. It is a pizza taste we have been looking for ever since moving into this region about 3 years ago. A lot of the pizza joints all taste the same, because they all get their sauce and dough from the same place (*cough*Sysco*cough). There's no real reason to choose one over the other. But Galaxy has a singularly great flavor heads and tails over the rest. And the crust - you NEED to just try the crust! We are planning on going back to try their other offerings, but the pizza will probably still rule. read more
