Came in on a Saturday night around 6:30. Seated right away. They had live music. Which would have been nice has it not been deafening. I had to text people in my party and had to text the waiter my order. Told us they were slammed. And it would be 45 minutes for food. Which I still do not understand. I'm the 34 minute we waited. No one got food. It is a small pizza place and shouldn't take an hour. to get a pizza made. Pizza was good when we got it. Would not eat here again when they have live Music. I went to this pizza spot and ordered a pie while the family waited in the car with a sleeping baby. I waited 20 minutes and the waitress comes out and tells me that the dough wasn't made correctly and it's not working. So I left with no food. It's a pizza parlor that may or may not have pizza. Located at the end of the downtown area, parking is limited. There are spots available right in front of the entrance but depending on timing or events, you may need to walk a bit or cross the street. The seating area is crowded, consisting mostly of booths with a few seats along the rear bar. There are a couple tables in the middle. The menu is varied but not huge, mostly pizza with a few sandwiches. There is a large salad bar in the rear. The ingredients looked fresh and were replenished often. The Itappalacian legend pizza was very good and is highly recommended. The wait staff is mostly young but efficient and constantly working. The staff is well trained and very attentive. FYI, they had music most weekends, so you can enjoy local talent while eating good food. read more

2 workers. They told us take any table. Rest of the time they did not acknowledge me or my husband whatsoever. We get there and five minutes later a family walks in and they serve them first. Okay, no big deal. Then 2 more groups come in. Both handed menus and given drinks and their food before us... we weren't even given menus. We couldn't believe it... they were discriminating us. We stopped in here last night because music was playing and we thought maybe we could get a beer. We got two beers and an order of chips and beer cheese. Honestly, the beer was cold, the beer cheese was so salty that we had to ask for just some blue cheese from the salad bar so that we had something to dip the chips in. The chips literally just came out of a bag and were served with warmed up cheese. That cost like $4-5... Could we have not at least done some fresh made chips? The couple beside us said that their pizza was fantastic. They were from out of town and highly recommended it. We are going to give it a try and go back and have some of the pizza because you can't base a place on just its chips and beer cheese. Not what I was expecting. Usually joints like this have me looking forward to another visit. However not the case here. We came on a Tues afternoon around 1:30. Not busy, 2 other tables. Several tables still hadnt been bussed from lunch. 1 server in site. They were out of all draft beer. We ordered slice of life and Pretzels with beer cheese. The slice was not memorable at all, the Pretzels were on point and the beer cheese was tasty. I question how clean this place is based on the looks of the bathroom. The entire place could use a deep clean and something to brighten up the atmosphere. The Health inspection scores are posted here on Yelp. Seems they fluctuate quite a bit. This was me, my mother and my best friends first girls night out in forever. We figured we'd treat ourselves to a restaurant we hadn't ever been to and it looked very promising but we were so disappointed. Our waitress was very friendly but after we got our drinks we still hadn't gotten to order. It seemed like the waitresses were more interested in putting their makeup and costumes on, it was karaoke night evidently. Went there for lunch on 7 August 2018 and had to wait 10 minuets after my first beer to be asked if I would like another. Ordered 1 slice of pizza for lunch and from the time it arrived 42 minuets had passed . I'm not sure how long it takes to reheat a slice of pizza or if they scratch made a single slice. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for lunch if you have a job or anything else that you need to do in the afternoon. This seems more like a place to go hangout an spend an evening listening to music and taking in the local Carter County culture. The waitress was nice, apologetic, she even offered the meal on the house due to the wait. They seemed short staffed, wouldn't say that weren't working hard to keep up. Pizza was good 3 out of 5.
