VERY RACIST!! My personal experience at The Gale Hotel was extremely disappointing due to the behavior and customer service provided by the front desk staff, specifically Supervisor Isa and Front Desk Clerk Julissa. The first issue occurred when I ordered groceries and went to get a cart because the bags were too heavy for me to carry to my room on the elevator by myself. When I attempted to use a cart, Supervisor Isa approached me with an attitude and abruptly stated that I could not take it. I politely asked if I could simply bring it back after unloading my groceries, and he again said no. He stated that he would have someone bring the groceries up for me, but his tone and demeanor were unnecessarily rude. He then grabbed the cart and pulled it away from me in a disrespectful manner. Afterward, he walked over to the front desk, said something to Julissa, and she laughed. When I asked what the issue was, neither of them provided a professional response. I will say that the bellman who assisted me with my groceries was very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. The second incident occurred on my last night at the hotel/residence. While cleaning out the condo and removing my trash, I called the front desk three separate times to ask where the trash chute was located because I could not find it. No one answered. I eventually had to go downstairs carrying a trash bag in my hand, only to find Isa and Julissa standing at the front desk. When I approached Julissa and explained that I had called multiple times seeking assistance, her response was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I then asked Supervisor Isa where the trash chute was and why no one had answered the phone. He responded with an attitude, stating that the phones do not ring at the desk. When I requested corporate contact information or the name of someone above him, he refused to provide it and instead instructed me to call the same number that had gone unanswered. The level of customer service displayed by both employees was unacceptable. Guests should be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the situation. Based on my experience, I would not stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it to others. The behavior I encountered left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome, and I believe management should seriously address these customer service concerns. Very racist establishment. I came to stay here with a friend the night of a concert in Miami at the Kasey's Center. It's located right across from the arena so you can walk straight over and walk straight back once it's done. At check in they offer a free hotel coupon for one free drink at the bar which we used on a spritz and also grabbed some light bites. There is also tons of restaurants nearby in the downstairs area to choose from. The rooms were massive and had more than enough space and the great amenities expected the price and quality of this hotel. We never went to the pool since we were there a short amount of time. The beds were also very comfortable. The downstairs cafes next to the lobby was a bit slow in service and took so long to help the customer before us we just stopped at another coffee place before heading home. The parking fee is outrageous though since it's $75 a night with no in and out privileges so your options are park somewhere nearby or just uber everywhere you need to go until it's time for you and your group to go home. If you're looking for convenience and have enough money then book this hotel but if you're looking for more budget options try a hotel by the airport. read more

There are so many hotels in Miami, while Gale is close to the brightline and cruise port, we would probably stay at another hotel next time. This is both a hotel and an apartment building. I have stayed in similar situations previously, but often the residences have a completely different entrance or separate elevators or banks of elevators. This was not the case. The wait for the elevators was long, often the doors would open to full elevators, and the lobby area by the elevators is far too tight for guests with luggage or a luggage cart. Our suite itself was smartly designed and had gorgeous balconies and views. We all slept comfortably and I had fun playing with the nespresso machine. My favorite memories though will be letting a young couple see our view, talking about cruises with them, our impromptu photo shoot in the window, and watching the cruise ships turn in the basin. If you need an atm or drugstore be prepared for a fun journey to the most exciting CVS, you might see $2k electric bikes, $5k Pomeranians, and more all inside the store! read more

I really enjoyed my stay here. They had several promos going on at the time of my visit, which made pricing fair. Check-in was easy and front desk service was friendly. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my group and equipped with most of the things we needed--- a trial size laundry detergent in the room would have been helpful. The amenities were great- hotel restaurants, pool, gym, and spa (although I didn't use the spa). The only real issue I had was the elevator. The wait times for the elevator at check in/out and around dinner was VERY LONG. Don't attempt to get anywhere fast during that time. read more

The property is beautiful, the views are unreal, and the staff is truly top notch from check-in to poolside. That said, there are a few things worth knowing before you go. You can't even bring a bottled water by the pool, which felt overly restrictive. The shop pricing also isn't always clear, we thought we were grabbing a quick bottle of wine to sip while getting ready for dinner and it ended up being $94. The pool area is gorgeous, but pool chairs are a hot commodity, and the sun is pretty limited past 1:00, so plan for an earlier pool day if that's a priority. One big plus, security is pleasantly visible. Not overbearing at all, but I absolutely felt safe and looked after the entire time. Overall, I'd come back for the atmosphere, service, and views. Agustin was nothing but patient, kind, and genuinely helpful from the second I walked in. You can tell he actually cares about people and loves what he does -- he went above and beyond without me even having to ask. Truly one of those rare "solid human beings" you just don't meet often anymore. And Jessica, Gerald, Santiago, & Daniel... what angels! Multiple times this stellar valet staff helped me out with top notch service. They consistently showed me nothing but compassion, professionalism, & kindness. My best friend and I stayed here for New Year's, and unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. At the time of booking, I asked about early check-in and fully understood it was not guaranteed. However, when I arrived a little after 10:00 a.m. to check in, the front desk experience immediately felt dismissive. The woman assisting me (with reddish hair) asked whether I had a private Airbnb or one booked through the hotel. I told her I wasn't entirely sure, and instead of checking my reservation or asking for my ID, she told me to contact the host for check-in. No effort was made on her end to verify anything. After checking my reservation myself, I returned to the desk and clarified that my Airbnb booking was through the hotel. I was told the room wasn't ready and to come back around 2:00 p.m. We waited in the lobby for about 2.5 hours, during which I saw several other guests checking in. While standing in line again around 12:30 p.m., I overheard a young couple successfully checking into their Airbnb, paying the hotel hold, and receiving room keys before 2:00 p.m. I approached the same front desk associate and asked what the difference was, explaining that I had been there since shortly after 10:00 a.m. She stated they had a private Airbnb. I explained that mine was booked with the hotel and that I had already notified the host. At that point, she finally asked for my ID and my friend's ID and then said a room was available. She apologized and said she didn't realize my Airbnb was with the hotel. I explained that she had dismissed me too quickly to find that out in the first place. When we finally arrived in the room, we immediately noticed a broken fingernail on the floor in front of one of the beds, which was concerning and made us question the level of cleanliness prior to our arrival. Upon check-in, I was informed of a $200 hold. The next morning, however, I noticed an additional pending charge of $214.75. When I went downstairs to inquire, another front desk associate explained that although I had prepaid through Airbnb, the hotel was unaware and charged additional fees. I explained that this miscommunication was not my fault and requested an immediate refund. After speaking with management, she apologized, waived the $35-per-day amenities fee, and confirmed a refund of $414.75, which I was told would return to my card in 3-5 business days. Later that night, after returning from our New Year's celebration, I asked if there was a microwave available to reheat food we had earlier. I was told there was no access to a microwave because the kitchen was closed. Overall, the room itself was nice, and the views were great. However, the constant miscommunication, unnecessary charges, dismissive service, cleanliness concerns, and lack of basic amenities made this stay disappointing and not the experience we expected for a New Year's celebration. read more

This was, unfortunately, one of the worst experiences I've had at a so-called high-end hotel. The level of service did not match the price or expectations in any way. There was no daily housekeeping, including no towel changes, which is unacceptable for a luxury property. The kitchen was poorly equipped with no basic utensils, and there was no access to filtered water or ice anywhere on the property. Communication was also a major issue--staff members did not speak sufficient English, to the point that a woman working in the spa/pool area was unable to direct me to the pool. The food was significantly overpriced for the quality provided. We arrived early and were refused early check-in unless we paid an extremely high fee. After waiting approximately five hours, we were finally able to check in. Ironically, checkout was strictly enforced at 11:00 a.m., cutting nearly five hours off what would be considered a full day stay. I booked a stay at the Gale Miami through Vrbo on August 7, 2025, for two nights. The Vrbo listing clearly stated "all fees included, no hidden fees", and I paid a total of $501.00 (nightly rate of $224 per night plus a $53 service fee). The Vrbo app also showed I was paid in full. When I arrived at the hotel, I was blindsided with additional charges. I was required to pay $180 in cash for valet parking, and then they also charged my card for the same valet -- double charging me. On top of that, the Gale Miami inflated the nightly rate by adding a $29.12 VAT fee to each night, making it $253.12 per night instead of the $224.00 Vrbo quoted. They also tacked on a $39.55 per night "destination fee," which resulted in an additional $585.34 charged at checkout. When I questioned these charges, the hotel's only response was: "This happens all the time with Vrbo." If that's the case, here's a tip: maybe fix your listing on Vrbo so guests aren't misled by false "no hidden fee" promises. This is false advertising and misleading. Vrbo promised no hidden fees and that I was fully paid, yet I was charged hundreds more. Vrbo needs to hold its property partners accountable because this experience felt like a scam. Travelers, beware: Vrbo's "paid in full" and "no hidden fees" promises cannot be trusted. And just imagine how many times you've trusted Vrbo (or the hotel you're staying in) and didn't check your statement--you might never know you were overcharged. read more

This is a gorgeous property in a prime location with spectacular views of the city and port of Miami. Parking is slightly tricky, to find affordable parking we had to park 3 to 4 blocks away, luckily, we enjoy walking. There's also a $30 overnight garage .3 miles away. The Wi-Fi is simple to use, the living area is cozy with a large television, a full kitchen, coffee maker, oven, stove, top, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer, plenty of glassware a dishwasher, and even a washer and dryer. The bed as well as the shower and bathroom are spacious and gorgeous. We especially enjoyed that the balcony is almost as big as the apartment itself. It has four chairs and two tables which is perfect for enjoying cocktails and food. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants and things to do within walking distance. It is also located conveniently near the Free Metromover. The front area is secure, and has complimentary lemon water, and the elevators are high-tech with usage of the key fob and a touchscreen. There is a remote control to control the air conditioning, different outlets at the bedside, and even convenient night lights under the night stands. We love the quiet hours from 10pm til 7am as well, and the pool opens at 7am, which is lovely. The pool area is in a word: fabulous! The views are simply incredible, and there's a bar as well as restrooms, plenty of seating, and outdoor and indoor lounges next to the pool as well. We loved our stay here! read more

I booked my room two months in advance. I received a very good rate on the room. A week before my stay I had credit card fraud and the card that I had put for the deposit had to be canceled. I did not realize that the Gail never charged it yet they charge it 24 hours before your visit so of course it got denied. They sent me an email which I did not see saying I had two hours to respond and take care of the bill For my stay the following day. I didn't see it quick enough and my reservation got canceled. I was freaking out. They confirmed that the reservation had been canceled and when I looked online to book, the same room was now four times The price. I was devastated. I called and spoke with Andrés. He assured me not to worry that their policy is when I get to their hotel the following day I just show them that I had a reservation. Tell them what happened and they honor that reservation since there was a glitch. I still was nervous. When I got to The Gail, I had absolutely no problems. They treated me extremely kind and friendly. I only did they take care of me, but the walk-in rate was a few dollars less than what I had originally booked for. I was ecstatic. my room was ready early. I believe check-in isn't until 4 PM but I arrived at noon and my room was ready and they allowed me to go to my room. My room was immaculate, pleasing to the eye, and spacious. The room I got was a one bedroom suite with a balcony. The balcony was much larger than I had ever anticipated with chairs and furniture out there to sit on. I haven't checked out all the other amenities yet so I'll probably wind up updating this but so far I'm extremely pleased with service and quality. read more

Do not recommend. CHECK-IN: took about 45 minutes. I have been to many hotels, and never realized until today that check-in could possibly take so long. The employees were friendly and professional, but the line was 20 customers deep, and hardly moving. Spinning computer screens, failing credit card machines, and managers standing around staring and holding clip boards taking notes instead of helping. SLEEP: was impossible since the hotel was blaring outdoor speakers from their (9th floor?) rooftop patio that isn't even open yet. Zero customers on the patio, and loud, electronic island music started at 11:30 pm. I called the front desk to alert them; they said they would look into it. Music still blaring at 2:30 am, I can hear it through the closed balcony door: bass and bongos and techno. Again, no customers, this is a hotel patio that isn't open. I went down to the front desk at 2:30 am and alerted the gentleman again, in person. After wasting FOUR HOURS wandering around, another staff member finally bothered to inform me that I could check in early. Genius timing! And let's not even start on their laughable "infrastructure." This is the only hotel I've ever encountered that runs out of luggage storage. Seriously? No storage room in a "luxury" hotel? Instead, they expect guests to fork over money to a third party to hold their bags. What an absolute scam. The front desk is a total circus, with just two agents running the show. One is permanently glued to the phone, so expect to stand there like an idiot for 15-30 minutes if you dare to ask for help. I can honestly say this was the best hotel Iv stayed in. We went to get married on the beach before hitting a cruise for our honeymoon. We missed the wedding due to flight delays making un-planed stay overs. Every single member of staff we talked to helped us in every way they could, nothing was too much for them. The staff definitely help make the beautiful hotel an amazing place to visit. The room was second to none and bar was such a joy to visit. The massage was good but I had left my sentimental jewelry in the pocket of the robe in the spa locker with intentions of coming back to use the amenities. When I came back the locker was cleaned out with a new robe in there and when I asked for my necklace the staff told me it hadn't turned up. I went back consistently every day until my check out asking if it has been found and even offered a $500 reward if someone will return it because it was my grandmothers necklace who passed away. I recently stayed here and I can say so far so good. Pros-Staff is very friendly, easy to get food and items, Lobby is beautiful, entrance is great, valet was nice and very fast. I love how the system gives you an eta. I met Gonzalo Vega, hes the one of the concierge and he was the most helpful. Her personally delivered and helped carried things up for us even though our hands weren't full. He did all he could to make things truly easier for us Soso: some of the restaurants aren't open house, The gym could be bigger. I stayed at this hotel for five nights. I asked on check in if they serviced the rooms. They said only if we called the day before. So on day two we called to have the rooms cleaned the next day and were told rooms were only serviced on day four. I explained that I am "due" one cleaning in five nights and I am here on business and I am leaving to work another tradeshow and a new employee is coming in to finish this one and I need fresh sheets for them. They refused. They would only clean the room on night four. There is no micro market. In addition they swept $100 per night for incidentals but they have none. No market. We had issues at check in with the guy at the front desk acting visibly irritated that we were checking in so late (trust me - I wish my flight hadn't been 5 hours late too!). He didn't explain any of the amenities that were available as part of the $40/night "destination fee." The next morning, we ventured to the front desk hoping for someone more helpful. We asked for recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area, but the gal at the front desk gave us a blank stare and said she didn't really know anything about the area. We also asked that morning about the amenities that were part of the "destination fee." She said since we were staying 2 nights we had 4 $10 drink vouchers that could be used anytime in their restaurant. After staff said they would provide compensation for the multiple issues I was informed I would not receive compensation because I booked my hotel through booking.com. Most people traveling from out of state will book through a website. The fact that this is the excuse is absolutely disgusting. No accountability so just know they will take your money and just shrug their shoulders if they give you a terrible experience.
