There was a decent amount of free parking, especially once we figured out there is also parking in the back of the hotel, with a back entrance to the lobby. The free breakfast buffet had different offerings every day. There are a lot of restaurants and fast food options close to the hotel, so you don't have to go far to find something to eat. I called to Hotel and was given this nice speech of where to park so that they knew I sad with Spothero. Perfection and a 5 because everything went well, manager of hotel was kind and car was very secure! Nothing more to say but I love when a venue to park is this easy!

It was all arranged nicely and the view from the room was fantastic! The entire hotel only has 6 rooms so it was extremely nice and quiet. Check-in was easy and staff was nice. Breakfast was either brought to your room or eaten in the lounge. It was ordered the day before and brought to you in the morning, very nice. Our older daughter thought it was "fancy" and wants to come back. It was an extremely pleasant stay and we will be back!

It's incredibly quiet and parking is right there and always available. The best part is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The last time we came, they took great pains to help us get a (very hard) reservation at the student-run restaurant in the same building. They are also very knowledgeable about the area. The really good breakfasts are served at whatever time you want, either directly to your room or in the very nice lounge right next to the rooms. Why stay at a much more expensive and impersonal hotel when you can have a relaxed and quiet visit and save a bunch of money at the same time?

Perfect for a live-out-of-your-suitcase stay as storage space is nil. Note: there is a small refrigerator, iron and ironing board available. Plenty of outlets for electronic devices too! The walls are a little thin and hall noises were heard. The HVAC fan is especially noisy. Shower pressure is good, but we had to dial it to HOT HOT to get it warm enough for comfort. Multi-use soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion dispensers are a thing here. Just make sure they're all filled and working before use. The bargain price point for the quality of this property makes it a BEST VALUE stay, imo!

The coffee was nothing special, although the grounds in the bottom of my cup were an added bonus I could have done without. The biggest issue, and the reason for the lower rating, was the smell in our room. There was a very strong, strange odor that I can only describe as a dirty, earthy, sour smell. It was noticeable throughout our stay, but I didn't realize how much it had permeated everything until I got home. My suitcase now smells like the room. My clothes smell like the room. Even my CPAP equipment absorbed the odor. When I tried to use my CPAP at home last night, the air coming through it smelled so much like the hotel room that I couldn't use it. At this point, I'm genuinely wondering if there may have been a moisture or mold issue in the room. I obviously can't say that's what it was, but whatever caused the odor was strong enough to permeate our belongings and follow us home. Without the smell, this would have been a perfectly acceptable, basic hotel stay. Unfortunately, having to clean and air out our luggage, clothes, and CPAP equipment after getting home made it a much different experience.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel with 8 rooms. It is gorgeous inside. Parking is a little tight and they allow for 1 car per room for that reason. On the day of my reservation I received both email and text instructions on how to access the room. I was in the South building in the Rae room. This room was up the steep stairs. The room itself was small and quaint. There were a couple of hooks to hang clothes. They had a tv, keurig, and mini fridge. The bathroom was located across the hall. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. Definitely recommend this non-chain hotel for a different type of vibe.

Parking: They have a very small private lot that can fit one car per room. In the rare event you can't find parking, the hotel manager can help find you a new spot. Check in and check out: This hotel doesn't have a traditional front desk. Instead you will get a code for your door and the main door of the hotel building that you're in. Each room is so different and definitely find their website to see the difference between them all. While this place doesn't have a front desk and doesn't do daily turn down service, everything you need is just a text away. I truly loved the peace and quiet nature of this hotel. Only downside is since this hotel is an old house, it means that the air conditioning and heating is for the whole building vs the individual rooms. So if one room wants it hotter, everyone gets it hotter. Overall I loved this hotel. It's half a block from downtown Plainfield and walkable to so many wonderful restaurants and stores.
