I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Morris and his team. I've gone through wisdom…read moretooth removal, double jaw surgery, and hardware removal with him in the last couple of years and couldn't have picked a better surgeon. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for nearly a decade because every surgeon I saw told me I would be left with permanent nerve damage based on the positioning of my teeth. Dr. Morris got my wisdom teeth out with no lasting impact. I had a terrible experience with another surgeon preparing me for major orthognathic surgery (double jaw surgery). Dr. Morris took over and made sure I was informed every step of the way. He stayed with me through my recovery, often accommodating last minute appointments on a weekly basis. He even showed up to the hospital to check on me on a weekend when I was readmitted after my surgery (at no fault of his own- I'm immune compromised and had some persistent infection issues). The whole process was easy to navigate, including appointments, dealing with insurance, etc.. His team is awesome, and they always made me feel at home in the office. I truly felt like everyone there was celebrating my progress each week I came in during my recovery. I see some of these other reviews complaining about his bedside manner. If you want someone to coddle you and sugarcoat things, he's probably not your guy. If you want someone to actually support you, show you genuine respect, give you real medical advice, and deliver perfect surgical outcomes, you've found the right place. The medical procedures he did for me have changed my life, and I'm so glad I trusted him. Dr. Morris is the best of the best.

Clear choice St. Louis did an amazing job from day one…read more Dont understand the "over treatment" complaints that they say warrants the additional costs above the other implant providers. My experience? Day 1 Removed 16 teeth and was fitted with full temporary implants. All my decision, could have gone partial, but knew what the future held and went the full Monty. Uppers and Lowers. 1 month evaluation and progress, evaluate healing and gums, your gums shrink after healing, leaving a void between your temps and gums. Water pick is mandatory. 2 months Removed temps, repaired them from grinding (my fault) didn't have my bite guard in. Then they templated my healed gums for permanent teeth. reinstall repaired temps. No charge for repair. 3.5 months return to get my permanent implants. was given the molds made for my process and procedure. Clear choice St Louis was the right providers for me. Considerably more expensive than the "Las Vegas" option but some things are not worth bargain shopping for. Or you could say that quality has a price. Financially and emotionally. Best money I ever spent on myself. Thank you clear choice St Louis.

My husband went in for an occlusal mouth/bite guard & spent 2 hours mostly sitting in the chair waiting to be seen. He was told he needed a new guard and would have to pay $325 out of pocket to have the mold started. The office refused to run it through insurance first citing that "they never pay for mouth guards." Mouth guards were always previously covered by insurance so my husband was weary. I called BCBS-IL through Boeing to verify coverage. Our insurance informed us that our copay for mouth guards is only $95 and that the rest of the cost is pre-negotiated in the contract Creve Coeur Dentistry has with BCBS-IL. And that as long as the office is in network only the copay is out of pocket. The insurance company informed us that Creve Couer Dentistry is overcharging us & they filed a grievance to get the remaining $230 of our money back. Always call your insurance to verify coverage before proceeding with this office. I am a patient of Dr. Mooney there for Orthodontics and he is wonderful. But after my ortho treatment is complete we will be leaving this office and finding a new dentist. As a nurse, I was impressed with how nice & clean the office is but they have very shady/questionable business practices. It is unfortunate.

I had surgery on 4 wisdom teeth cavitation sites with Dr. Moreland in April 2014. Unfortunately…read morethe whole left side of my face became infected - jawbone, sinuses, ears, and I was starting to lose my vision on the left side. I've spent about $15k trying to recover from the cavitation disaster at Dr. Moreland's office. I am so thankful that I am still alive, and want to share what I've learned so hopefully no one else makes the same mistakes I did. Pros: -Scheduling and billing are easy and well organized at this office. Cons: - This office does not use ozone. Never, ever have dental surgery without ozone!!! You are just asking for a nasty infection. - The helper forced my jaw open when I was numb and I heard a 'pop.' Dr. Moreland said 'Don't force it' but it was already too late. I had nasty Trismus and jaw pain. Trismus is very difficult to get rid of. - Dr. Moreland drains people's sinuses through their mouths. I've talked to two ENT doctors and one oral surgeon since my disaster with Dr. Moreland, and all of them agree that draining the sinuses through the mouth is a very bad idea. Bacteria, fungus, and mold in the mouth can then make their way to the sinuses. If the hole he makes doesn't heal, you will have to put a metal plate in the roof of your mouth to avoid chronic sinus problems. Thank God I didn't let him do this to me! - After surgery, when things weren't going well, I called Dr. Moreland's office every day. His assistants basically always said the same thing - this is normal and don't be a wimp. Moreland himself wouldn't talk to me until my sinuses ruptured and I demanded to talk to him. I asked if I could come back and he could open my infected side up again. He refused and told me to find someone locally to work with. - Dr. Moreland used a DRILL to drill up into my sinuses. Another oral surgeon later told me that you should never, ever use a drill in the sinus area. It felt like he was using a jackhammer, and I ended up with severe head trauma. I spent thousands at the oseopath and chiropractor trying to unravel all of the head trauma, headaches, and pain. Tips: - Cavitation surgery might be able to be prevented with ozone injections. Try those first!! In hindsight, I had 2 dentists, 1 MD and 1 oral surgeon all tell me that I probably didn't need the uppers done, they could've likely been resolved with ozone injections alone. - Do not do oral surgery with anyone who does not use ozone to help prevent infection. - Ask in advance if they force your mouth open during surgery. - If you do have cavitation surgery, find someone who will do ozone injections into each site after surgery. Reference [1] is a case from Dr. Moreland where even after surgery, there are still multiple cavitations. - Never let anyone drain your sinuses through your mouth. - Never let anyone drill into your sinuses. Period. - Try nasal ozone for sinus infections & ear infections - amazing! - Don't forget to support your immune system after dental procedures.
