But got the exam, cleaning, x-rays etc. Had some tool draw out a new upper partial so I could get a new and stronger one. My problem is with the one guy, that did the x-ray. Very rude and a complete smartass. I kept my mouth shut. I never let anyone talk to me the way he did. But I stayed silent. This past Friday, (2weeks) I was to wait for my partial I went back to get it. Had the same rude little guy serve me up with attitude. He told me I had to put the new partial in and suffer for 2 weeks till my teeth got used to it. It wasn't even close to fitting. I told him "If you hurt me, I'm hurting you". Because it wasn't even close killing me. He ran an told the office manager, ( who is a young smartass that ℹ threatened him! I never threatened anyone. After that the OM came in and got in my face. Borderline me coming out of the chair. These two individuals that are working there need to be released. You don't act like a full blown smartass to the customer. I am filing a complaint and possibly seeking a lawyer. I'm going back wed to get my over priced partial and leaving. Do not go to this Aspen Dental office. They used to be good. Not anymore! They tried to charge both my husband and myself over $4000 for intensive cleanings saying our insurance would not cover them- our insurance confirmed not only did they never submit their required prior authorization, but that the service would be covered in full. That was a $3600 difference in price- PER PATIENT. Their check out girl is so lazy she refuses to do her job unless you literally force her to. Their office was literally the worst experience I've ever had in a dentist office across 5 states in this country. Run before they try to take advantage of you too.

Instead of trying to come to terms with me, Brittany, the office manager, sent me a text and an email saying that I would no longer be allowed to be a patient of Dr Wilson's. Someone from the office would call me and when I would answer they would not respond. I'm sure this was done so they could say that they tried to call me and couldn't reach me. Lindenwood Dentistry has a great location in the Schnuck's center across from Lindenwood University in St. Charles. The staff are very personable and helpful. They use a combination of digital x-rays and photographs and refer to them regularly during procedures. The result is the most thorough and well explained examination I've ever had. They even did a couple of composite fillings on my first visit and the cost was VERY reasonable. The doctor who performed the procedures isn't listed yet on their website, but I believe his name is Dr. Schaumberg (sp?), young, but professional and knowledgeable. I can't recommend him highly enough. The same goes for Lindenwood Dentistry, itself. They are new and still taking on new patients. If you're looking for a dentist, I think you will be happy with them too.

My wife and I were both overcharged with mine being $220.00 over and my wife was being overcharged by over $700.00 which is a 120% overcharge. Then when we were told by the office billing dept that it takes 2 to 3 months to receive a refund for our overpayment even though they have already received payment from our insurance company. So they now hold our money for a period of time and draw interest while we are waiting for our refund. We also requested a pre-determination be done on her claim and was told they had done that but after consulting with the insurance, we found out it was that it was never done. So this office is either completely incompetent or just flat out dishonest.

I went back multiple times for adjustments, but my bite was never right and the pain never stopped. What's worse, I was refused routine cleanings for TWO YEARS because the dentist insisted on fixing this one tooth--something that never actually got resolved. I even asked about removing the tooth and was repeatedly dismissed. Finally, I sought a second opinion. Turns out the tooth was fractured and infected all along and should have been pulled from the beginning. Now I'm dealing with an abscess and a much bigger problem than I started with. This was a long, frustrating, and painful experience that could have been avoided. Please do yourself a favor--get a second opinion before committing to major work here

I highly recommend completing your paperwork online before your appointment. They share a parking lot with a very busy Starbucks location and they have designated parking spots for the dental office. I was greeted warmly as I entered, and because I had completed my paperwork online I was able to simply let them know I was there and sit down to wait. My appointment was scheduled for 3 PM and just minutes later, they called my name. They quickly did a x-ray with a very modern machine that produced immediate pictures. I waited mere minutes before the dentist came in to examine me. Dr. Maughn was incredibly calming and compassionate. He had a good sense of humor as well. Those qualities are so important for anyone even slightly anxious at a dental visit. He immediately put me at ease, explained my situation thoroughly, and offered several treatment options. He was sensitive to my pain level and asked for consent before proceeding with each medical intervention. This was probably one of the most positive experiences I've had at a dentist. Highly recommended.
