The food was surprisingly good for a random pick. The service was very lacking and I felt we were overlooked but not a huge deal. The vegetable puff pasty dish was good but the vegetables were not very evenly distributed but still really delicious and worth it. The duck was surprisingly good and the steak and lobster tail with the compound butter was one of the best steaks I have had in a while. The sandwich, however, is very skippable and would not recommend compared to the other things on the menu. The cavatappi was way too salty and the fries were closer to chips than nice soft fries. The chocolate churro cake was just glorified coffee cake, so unless you like coffee cake I would say it can be skippable. Overall, will definitely go again, but probably not order the same things! We enjoyed having a little corner of the restaurant to ourselves. Our server Benicio was a joy and gave us a wonderful dining experience. He was also a wealth of information and all of his recommendations were pretty tasty I enjoyed my Braised Atlantic Salmon with jalapeño glazed heirloom carrots. My minor improvement would be to add salt or a bit more seasoning. For someone who loves salmon and eats it often, I would've liked a bit more flavor as the sauce was very good. Hubby had the Red Snapper and creamed baby spinach. Of course I tasted some of his meal, so I can attest to deliciousness of his entree. His fish had more flavor and actually went really well with my sauce. We also shared 2 shoestring fries, yup 2, they were really good and burst of sour and tangy flavors. At this point I was full and hubby finished off his meal with Bulleit bourbon bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Nothing was left on his plate so I would say he enjoyed it. It is nothing out of this world and you are pretty much just paying for the fancy place. Jerry was such an inviting and friendly waiter who took such great care of us and made great recommendations. I ordered lavender haze cocktail, which was lovely with not too tart lemon flavor with nice subtle notes of lavender. I tried the filet mignon (with espresso Demi glace) with a side of cheese cavatapi which was amazing. The filet mignon was very tender and cooked to my liking, and that Demi glace had such depth of flavor that accompanied the filet mignon so well. The cheese cavatapi had a nice gooey texture with buttery breadcrumbs which I enjoyed as well. My friend ordered their burger which she absolutely enjoyed. To my surprise, the waiter brought another plate of filet mignon entree as we were finishing the meal. He explained that the kitchen had made a mistake of serving me a 6oz steak instead of 8oz as the menu had said, and that they wanted to be honest and provide me with an extra plate to make it right. To be honest, I didn't even notice the size of the steak but I thought it was such an honest and integral part on the restaurant that I felt touched! I've been wanting to try this place since it opened as I'm local to the area. To be honest I was disappointed with the whole experience. The server brought out multiple dirty dishes, first it was the side plates for our appetizer, then the cutlery, then the glasses our second round of coffee was served in - he was super apologetic but not a great look. The crab cakes of the crab cake salad were excellent but the salad itself was so bland, no dressing and the avocados were not ripe. Then for the main meals - I had a chickpea panini and there was not a single chickpea in sight, mostly grilled vegetables. To be honest I had to ask the waiter if I received the correct dish cause I was kind of surprised with how it looked compared to what was written on the menu. My friend had the beer battered shrimp sandwich, she said the sandwich itself was good but the batter was way too overdone and too hard. A plus of this place is that it's right on the water so the view was nice out on the patio. The service was also really nice (like I said they were apologetic with the dirty plates) and also our food was delivered promptly. I'll likely give this place another try and I won't write it off just yet but definitely not as great as what I expected as their instagram portrays a fine dining experience. read more

A friend and I decided to try it out after work on Saturday and we are glad we did! We were seated right away and our waitress and every other staff member there checked in on us! We felt like VIP even though the restaurant was getting busy with large groups and prom. The food came out hot and it was all delicious! Everything we had tasted great and we even got an extra side because we couldn't decided which ones to get! I'm also not really a dessert person (I know) but the chocolate churro cake was screaming my name and I'm so glad we got it! You can definitely taste the love in it!
