Our family has been with Gallop Dentistry since 6 years ago. Although the lady hygienist is always cold and unfriendly, it's quite close our home. So we didn't switch to another practitioner. Until last may I didn't take the dentist's recommendations, because it cost too much. I think I'm ok with some missing teeth so far. I don't feel any inconvenience. The dentist showed his attitude right away directly to my face and since then I can never book any appointments with them. They blacklisted me silently. What a great Cedar Park find! I got both of my boys and myself in and out in around two hours and this was a first visit to this location. They even manage to work on some of us at the same time! The space is very clean and beautiful. The two professional women at the front desk were playful, engaging, great with my boys, and clearly enjoyed being there. Dr. Gallup himself... Well, I think this is the first time in my 53 years that I have had a dentist come out to the front to apologize for taking too long (he didn't) and make suggestions on the next scheduling. If you are anywhere near Cedar Park, and you need a dentist, this is the spot. read more

I'm a new patient, but already a forever patient. Office staff is super personable and friendly. The front desk wasn't just about taking our name and ins coverage, they actually get to know you, complete with a pic for your file (so wear some mascara, not too a la natural like me). The lobby has big inviting overstuffed chairs which I imagine would be comforting for nervous dental patients. My daughter and I had back to back appointments and there was enough knowledgable staff to work up my chart with X-rays while Edie was with hygienist, very streamlined and considerate of our time, not just the appointment time since I was taken back an hour early. If you're looking for a new dentist in the Cedar Park/Leander area look no further. I guess I'm a rarity in the sense that I like going to the dentist and am VERY particular about my teeth. I have had veneers on my front teeth for over 15 years and recently decided to replace them since the color and shading of my surrounding teeth have changed over the years. With that being said, I am definitely on the "high maintenance" end of the spectrum as far as patients go and Dr. Gallop and his team are more than willing to answer my questions and address any concerns I may have. After 3 weeks of wearing temporary crowns, which held up amazingly well with not a single issue (thanks Arpita), I went in to have my permanent crowns cemented...And this is really where I saw the exceptional service and care Dr. Gallop provides to his patients...the shape, initially, was not as I expected but Dr. Gallop sat with me making adjustments and working with the teeth to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work and the end result before leaving..AND I AM! They look absolutely beautiful and are exactly what I wanted. What really sets this place apart is the attention and attitude of the dentist and his team. They make you feel comfortable and WILL NOT over diagnose you, suggesting a bunch of unnecessary treatment. Pricing is fair and straightforward. Let me start by saying that I *hate* going to the dentist. We're talking major PTSD here. I was anxious going in to see Dr. Gallop today, but that quickly faded. High-points: - Very clean, nicely appointed office - Dr. Gallop was nice and very thorough. He didn't put the hard sell on me for any upgraded dental work or cosmetic dentistry. Not even a hint of sales pitch (loved that). - Katherine, my hygienist, was super nice and extremely gentle. I had the most pain-free cleaning ever. - No hassle with the insurance. - I downloaded the paperwork from home and brought it in at my appt. Low-points: None This was seriously the best dental appointment I have ever had. Ever. Not only was there no pain or hassles, it was actually (dare I say it?) a pleasant experience! As a satisfied customer for over 5 years, this review is long overdue. Gallop Family Dentistry makes nobody's favorite "chore" a pleasant experience. Yes, I said 'pleasant' when referring to a trip to the dentist! The office is clean, comfortable & features very modern cleaning, scanning & monitoring equipment. The office staff is courteous & professional & I've never had a single issue with insurance claims or difficulty scheduling an appointment at a time that fit my schedule. And it may be a simple thing these days, but I love receiving text message reminders of my pending appointments. My hygienist (Katherine) has been tremendous over the years. My teeth & gums are healthier now than when I first started going to GFD & I credit Katherine's thorough & gentle care for much of the improvements (& she doesn't even give me too much grief when I admit that I don't always floss 2X a day as recommended). To date I've had (thankfully) only minimal work done outside of my bi-annual checkups, but Dr. Gallop did a fine job with the minor fillings I needed. He and his staff take a sincere interest in my dental well-being which I appreciate. The entire team is highly skilled, professional, punctual & they respect my time. I've been a patient of Dr. Gallop's since 2006 and I love the doc and his staff! I came to him after a bad experience at another dentist (who told me I had lots of things wrong and would need thousands of dollars of work). I went to 2 other dentists, Dr. Gallop being one of them, and low and behold - I had zero problems and needed no work done. Thank goodness I found Dr. G! He is always so friendly and his staff is always on time, on point and polite. I switched my kids over from their dentists as well and both of my kids went from being terrified of dental visits to loving the 6 mo cleanings! It's amazing how 1 doc can change the view of so many... We all love him and couldn't imagine our smiles without him. As a result of their positive yelp reviews, I chose Gallop Family Dentistry. I'm really really happy I did! The places is bright, clean and shiny. Scheduling was easy, the forms weren't a PITA. The xrays were a snap as well. Most importantly, the cleaning was easy. The women who was my dental tech was polite, quick and knowledgeable. I would recommend going here immediately! I have been using Dr. Gallop every 6 months for two years now and I am extremely satisfied with care and attention I receive. All of the staff at his office are kind and professional. The hygienist is always gentle. One of the best parts about Dr. Gallops office is a never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appt! It is rare to find a dentist whom actually gets you in at the scheduled time instead of making you wait 15 min or longer prior to calling you back. Katherine and Melissa are super nice and so is the doctor. They got me in and out (fixed a broken filling) and I even got to watch Netflix during my procedure. I was super bummed when I found out they don't contract with any insurance companies. I should have asked prior to my appointment but found out a little too late. I went to get my teeth cleaned. Katherine Kettler cleaned my teeth. I don't feel like she cleaned my teeth very good. She was super fast and missed some spots and didn't polish them very well. She also used so weird water suction device that didn't keep me from swallowing the water when she was cleaning my teeth. Maybe she needs an assistant. I would not recommend getting my teeth cleaned by her. I can't really comment about Dr. Gallop since I didn't have any dental procedures that needed to be done at this visit. read more
