They shaved down one of my teeth causing an excess of food to get stuck between that and another tooth causing me pain and frequent infections. The tooth they rebuilt is literally chipping away constantly. The one I had before stayed in tact for 15 years while whatever they did lasted me 2 weeks before it started failing. To top it all off, I continuously get harassed about paying a bill that I already paid! I confirmed in person during my final visit that I was paid in full, yet they continue to bother me. Go to any other dentist office please just not this one.

They quickly fit Me in their schedule and took some X-rays and determined that my pain was from a root canal RE-infection that was performed before my crown was put on. They were kind enough to write a prescription to help with my pain and write a referral back to the Root Canal Specialist for a possible retreatmect. Simply Crown did not charge me for anything even though it was not their fault. The root canal specialist did charge me for the consultation and the RE treatment. This involved drilling into my crown that Dr. Post put on. I was expecting to pay Simply Crowns for putting in the permanent filling, but once again they got me In and out in 20 minutes without charging me a dime. I want to be clear: I am already deeply aware of this, and I feel embarrassed and awful when it happens. Nothing feels worse than standing at the garage door with my keys in hand, frozen, shaking, overwhelmed, and filled with guilt. This isn't carelessness or laziness, it's something I actively work to manage. I also understand that missed appointments affect a business, and I am willing to accept financial penalties when appropriate. I appreciate that Pecan Park Dental has waived some missed appointment fees for me in the past. However, my most recent experience felt shaming and dismissive of my disability, and I left in tears. The morning of a scheduled appointment, I was called and told my insurance would not cover the visit because I had hit my maximum. I was told I would need to pay $540 out of pocket for a routine cleaning. I could not afford that and chose to reschedule for a future date when my insurance would cover it. At that time, I was told I would still be charged a $100 late cancellation fee, even though this cost was only communicated to me the morning of the appointment. When I returned months later for the rescheduled visit, I tried to explain that this situation resulted from an insurance and communication issue. Instead of working with me, I was repeatedly pressured in the waiting room to pay the $100 fee. I explained multiple times that I did not have the money that day. I was asked for credit card information over and over, in front of my daughter and other patients. It was humiliating. I ended up crying in the office while still being asked for payment. When I later tried to explain the situation, I was sent a chart of my missed appointments. It felt less like an attempt to understand and more like an effort to reinforce guilt. That approach isn't helpful, it adds to the shame and makes it even harder to access care. Experiences like this are exactly why many neurodivergent people avoid healthcare altogether. It becomes easier to avoid appointments than to face anxiety, shame, and financial penalties. I don't believe this is about bad intent, but it reflects a system that prioritizes policies and revenue over patient-centered care and basic compassion. After more than a decade as a loyal patient, and bringing multiple family members to this practice, I expected more understanding and professionalism. Because of this experience, I will be moving my care, along with my family's care, to a different provider. I hope this practice reflects on how it communicates with and supports patients, especially those with anxiety, autism, or other neurodivergent needs. No patient should be made to feel this way while seeking care

My initial consultation with Dr. Bob was informative and didn't feel at all like the usual dentist sales pitch. I could tell that Dr. Bob genuinely cared, even though he just met me. He took the time to explain to me exactly why my caps needed to be replaced, showing me x-rays and pictures of the area. I went back a few months after my initial consultation to have the work done (once my new insurance kicked in) and couldn't have been happier with my visit. The work took a few hours, but flew by mainly because of how nice he and his staff are. My dental assistant was Sara and she was friendly and talkative, even asking me several times if I was comfortable and wanted any water. I called on Wednesday, and Emily was able to get me in right away. She sent my forms via text. She verified my insurance, it was a go. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Emily greeted me with such warmth, and genuine kindness. I was promptly taken to my exam room. Within the next two hours I had X-rays, 3D scan, talked treatment plan, my old bridge removed, wisdom tooth extracted, permanent crown replaced, RX sent to my pharmacy, paid my deductible, and was on my way home.
