After my appointment, the medication prescribed by the doctor was denied by my insurance. I was never contacted by the office regarding this issue or provided with any alternative treatment options. Over the next month and a half, I called the office five separate times seeking an update. Despite my repeated attempts, I received no meaningful follow-up. After finally requesting to speak with a manager, I was informed that the doctor now wanted me to undergo a different test before proceeding with treatment. This recommendation was never discussed with me during my appointment, and no one had previously contacted me about it. I was told that the test order/request would be emailed to me that same day; however, it has now been a week and I still have not received anything. The lack of communication, follow-up, and coordination of care has been very frustrating and has delayed my treatment unnecessarily.
